Nice coverage and beautiful finish. Makes my skin look nearly flawless. The HUGE application brush makes it fast. I got this as part of a set I ordered from HSN. I can't believe I've given up my longtime Bare Minerals foundation but this covers so well and is so fast!! Doesn't clog my pores and my skin great. My new go-to foundation!

Looks like the jury is out on this one but I LOVE it for the price. I gave it 4 lippies because it definitely takes some practice to get the hang of it. However, with a light hand and some patience I was able to achieve a pretty decent french manicure. I applied to the bare nail, allowed it to dry completely and applied a second coat; I let that dry completely and then applied 2 coats of Sally Hansen's Hard as Nails in clear. I'm a nurse so I wash my hands a LOT and apply antibacterial gel often. No chips whatsoever after 24 hours. It isn't salon quality (yet) but who knows......maybe with some practice I'll get there. And you can't beat the price. Will definitely buy again.

Mascara -Cover Girl - Lash Blast Clump Crusher mascara

In my quest to find the HG of mascaras, I decided to pick up a tube of LashBlast Clump Crusher. While not the HG (sigh) I was pleasantly surprised. It goes on easily, separates well and, no clumps. Very buildable and gave my lashes nice volume without giving me the spider look. No flaking and looks great after wearing for 12 hours. My eyes can be somewhat sensitive to some mascaras but I never have that with Cover Girl. I purchased Blackest Black in non-waterproof.

Misc Beauty Tools -Clarisonic - Mia

I've been using the Mia for over a year now and wouldn't be without it. I previously used Olay's face brush and this is such an improvement. I use the sensitive skin brush because of my fickle skin and the fact that I'm 54. My skin is softer and smoother and my pores look smaller. If I go without using the Mia I can tell it. It holds a charge for a long time- I think I've charged it 4 times in the past year. I use my cleanser and my exfoliator with it. Really got rid of the dry, flaky areas around my nose. I started out using it once a day and now use it twice daily. It was definitely costly but is well made and I expect it to last many years. I purchased mine at Ulta just in case I didn't like it........they have a great return policy.

I have used the BE eye brow powder and brow brush for years and together they are amazing! One of those products that changed my life! If you use the BE brow powder, this is a must-have! It is definitely HG status for me. Easy to use and well made. Love.

Eye Shadow -Bare Escentuals - Bare Minerals Ready--2.0 in The Epiphany

I'm a BE gal and I own gads of the loose powder shadows and love them, so I wasn't sure what to expect with the new solid shadows. Love this duo! They go on smoothly and blend easily. I have slightly oily lids and these last 10+ hours and best of all, no creasing! I'm not big on glitter and A-Ha has just a touch. I love the anti-aging properties and the way they make my eyes look and feel. Will definitely purchase again!

Masks -Queen Helene - Mint Julep Masque

Love this stuff! I have oily skin and this stuff soaks up the oil and sucks the gunk out of my pores! I has a minty smell and makes my skin tingle! It works great as a spot treatment for zits and it doesn't bother my sensitive skin......bonus!! I use a moisturizer after and wake up with glowing skin! I use once or twice a week. Great clay mask and dirt cheap. Possibly HG status!

BB Cream -Maybelline - Dream Fresh 8-in-1 BB Cream

I have combination skin with a tendency to get pretty oily on my T-zone. I usually wear Bare Minerals and wanted to try a BB cream. This sets very quickly and can be difficult to blend. It feels a little heavy to me but I'm so used to the feeling of no make-up with Bare Minerals that maybe I'm a little sensitive. I like that it adds a little extra coverage and evens out my color; I think it brightens my complexion some and it hasn't made my skin oily during the day (surprise!). I will probably try another BB cream next time but I'm not disappointed with this one.

Mascara -Revlon - Photoready 3D Volume

Just so-so. Doesn't do much in the way of adding length or volume. Dried up quickly. Doesn't clump as much as some. With so many better performing mascaras available, I can't recommend this one.

Misc Beauty Tools -Revlon - Revlon slant tip tweezers

Just replaced a pair from Tweezerman (that I misplaced) with Revlon's Ultimate Tweezer with slant tip. I almost purchased another pair of Tweezermans but the Revlon tweezers were less than half the price. I'm so glad I did. These grab every little hair, have a great grip and are guaranteed for life! Love!

I so wanted to like this............but it's just OK. I usually am a fan fo Philosphy. Purchased when watching QVC (must learn to resist those ladies!) and got a 3 bottle set. The fragrance is just so-so and doesn't last at all. I see no benefit to my skin and find myself in a hurry to use it up. Save your money. I won't repurchase.

Love this product! I'm quite fair and have had skin cancer (melanoma) so I must be very cautious about sun exposure. So what's a pale lady to do when everyone else is so tan? Fake it! And this stuff does the trick. I use it everywhere I want to be tan. Be patient and let it dry thoroughly and you're good to go for the day. Washes off with soap and water and I've never had a problem with staining my clothes. Love it!

For me, this is the HG of makeup. I've been using Bare Minerals for 15+ years and as I've said before, this makeup changed my life. I had always had really horrible skin: acne-prone, acne scars, oily and sensitive. I always had to reapply my makeup mid-day due to shine. NO MORE! This makeup lasts all day and my skin looks fabulous. It feels great, like I'm not wearing makeup. Mineral Veil is miraculous!Bare Minerals needs to be applied as directed to acheive the best results so I highly recommend a trip to one of their boutiques to have a pro show you how to apply if you're new to this makeup, You also need to use the correct brush to apply any mineral makeup. I also use the Bare Minerals brow kits and the eye shadows. All of it lasts forever because you use so little. I will never use anything else!

I have been using BE for 15+years. I always had horrible skin: acne prone, acne scarring, sensitive, OILY. This makeup changed my life. REALLY! I get compliments all the time on my "great" skin! If they only knew! And now that I'm 54, I have to be careful with what I use on and around my eyes. This stuff is great. I use it on my lids as a primer, under my eyes as a concealer and anywhere I want to brighten. The most important thing to remember about any BE makeup is to use it sparingly- a little goes a long, long way, and use the right brush. I highly recommend going to a BE boutique and have a pro show you how to use this makeup. The only problem with BE is the packaging......but it is so worth the trouble!

Bought this product at Ulta after talking to esthetician who recommended it. It seems expensive but it lasts forever! You only need a very small amount. I keep mine in the shower with no ill effects. It makes my skin feel great and gives me a glow. I use it approx 3 times a week with my Clarisonic Mia. Some reviewers have scalled it pricey but this is my first container and it has lasted over a year! I will repurchase.
