I'm very scent-conscious. Unfortunately my husband is allergic to most perfumes. Pure essential oils don't bother him so I've been either wearing vanilla, lavender and/or rose "straight" or mixing my own for years. But I've also kept searching for that perfect product that both of us love right out of the bottle... or at least that I love & he can tolerate ;-) .And this is it! True, it doesn't last very long ~ I carry a small bottle with me when I go out & always feel so much better after re-spritzing. But I am in love with Falling In Love and the way it makes me feel. My husband's reaction? "What did you add to the vanilla oil... it smells great." As others have said, I'd give this a 5 if it lasted longer and wasn't quite so pricey.

Eye Shadow -Anna Sui - Eye Shadow in 900

When I saw this color on the Anna Sui shelf I had to have it. I'd been looking for a soft, green, matte, eyeshadow forever. Everything had been either too dark, bright, frosted or just a bad shade of green for my coloring. When I tried Anna Sui 900 I knew I'd found my HG shadow. I'm very pale and need a subtle color palette & I love that this is sheer enough to layer to get just the right shade of green. And the packaging is so pretty I don't mind carrying it around for touch-ups if needed :-)

Liquid -Estee Lauder - Futurist Foundation

I like the look and feel of Futurist foundation, especially if I apply it right after moisturizing. But that Yes is conditional... I would buy again in a heartbeat if Estee added an even lighter color than IC. The color I bought is fine in the summer but I need it in winter when my skin is dryest... and, unfortunately, pale.

Styling Products -TiGi - Bed Head Masterpiece Massive Shine Hairspray

THANK YOU to everyone who recommended this magical potion! It only took I evening to realize I'd found my HG hairspray. I have bought an embarrassing number of finishing products over the years but never found anything that holds as well as this without feeling stiff and looking dry. My hair is naturally dry, very fine and stick straight if I don't either perm it or spend a half hour with a curling iron. I got sick of doing the latter so I got an "organic" perm at the beginning of the summer. I love to dance and wanted to be able to work up a sweat without looking like I'd gotten caught in a rainstorm. I thought I could just "wash and go" but I did have to style my curls (another product, another story) But once I got the style right, spraying with Masterpiece made it last all night! Even though my scalp felt damp by the end of the night, the curls held. I wouldn't say it makes my hair shine but nothing does. At least it doesn't dry it out.
