Not suitable for oily skin with hormonal acne... I began getting acne when I turned 29years old. Before that, I battled oily skin, but never more than one or two pimples at a time. After I turned 29, I began getting pimples on my right cheek and then constantly on my chin. Before this kit, I tried proactive and it was too harsh. Then tried clinique acne system and that was too drying. I peeled all the time on my chin. I tried AcneFree when I read good reviews about it online and I felt desperate. Three weeks straight I used this daily. It made my skin feel smooth and glow the first night, but the next day, by lunch, I felt acne starting to form beneath the surface. I kept with the kit a bit longer to see if it was just an adjustment that my skin was going through. It was horrifying!!! I've never broken out so much in such a short time frame. My chin was filled with bumps after 5days and wouldn't subside thereafter. Finally, I quit using the kit and within one day, my skin felt relaxed. For 5 days now I've now been using Aveeno Foaming Oil Free Cleanser, followed by Clinique's Acne Kit toner and moisturizing lotion (because I still had these around). So far, looking much smoother and less red everywhere. Not dried or rough at all.
