Sunscreen -Makeup Artist's Choice (MUAC) - oil free moisturizing spf 46 cream

I have been using the oil free moisturizing SPF 46 sunscreen for almost two months now so I now feel comfortable writing a review. Let me start off with why I decided to try this product in the first place. I normally have oily skin but in the winter months I find that it gets dry and flaky around my nose and chin. I normally use Biore UV perfect face milk or Coppertone spf 50 for senstive faces but those two just do not sit well when I have dry areas. So I searched for a physical sunscreen that would add moisture to my skin and found this one. I could not find any reviews on this but I put my faith in the MUAC brand and took a chance. I'm glad i did. Here's why: 1. Its has a great consistency. It's not thick at all and blends into my face easily without any white cast (which I would sometimes get with Coppertone) 2. It's a physical sunscreen with Octinoxate (7.5%) and Zince Oxide (9.0%) and an SPF of 46/ 3. Does not dry my skin out and soothes dry spots. This is due to the Hyaluronic Acid and Vitamin E that is added to it. 4. Does not make my face oily. 5. Sinks into the skin fast 6. You get 3.5 oz of product for about $20 which is a lot more than i get with the Biore SS (comparison pic above). Cons: The only con for me is the packaging. The dispenser is just a hole and you have to be careful with how much you squeeze the bottle because too much can come out. Because of this, the lid can get messy as well. It's not terrible but it could be improved. I will definitely buy this again because it is perfect for when my skin is on the dry side. **I also want to add that there is a slight lotiony fragrance but it goes away in about 5 minutes.**

This is such a great DS product!! I use it under my eyes (before concealer) and it works great as corrector for my purpley brown dark circles. I was previously using the Bobbi Brown corrector but I found that it finished too quickly and sometimes it creased throughout the day. This is so much cheaper and it actually works better at brightening/correcting and does not crease. I was afraid of this looking too pink and obvious but luckily it doesn't. Instead its blends and corrects the darkness leaving me looking instantly more awake. I have and will repurchase this because it is inexpensive and works well. I hope they sell this for a long time. I knocked down a lippie for the packaging. The clicking mechanism either takes a while to disperse the product or it disperses too much.

Eyeliner -Revlon - ColorStay Liquid Liner

This liner in Blackest Black used to be my former eyeliner HG for years. It has a really nice formula, is super black, and had fantastic staying power (best to re,ove with oil remover). The only thing that frustated me was that it was hard to get a fine and thin line with this (for those days I wanted very suble definition). The felt tip brush is too thick for that look and performs the best for thicker liner looks imo. Even so, I was content with it's other perks until I found PF eyebooster pen (a product I can do very dramatic and very subtle looks with plus has the pros this product has). So overall, it's a great product and I loved it for the time I used it but I found something else that suits me better.

Mascara -Lumene - Blueberry curl mascara

I really wanted to love this mascara and had high hopes due to the reviews but this one sort of let me down. The things I like about it is the brush and that it does add some nice volume and definition. Unfortunately, it weighed my curl down (I have really straight lashes) which is the dealbreaker for me. Seems to work ok for others though. Right now, I'm using L'oeal false lash mascara WP and this actually holds my curl all day.

Misc Beauty Tools -Unlisted Brand - Plus White - 5 Minute Speed Whitening Gel

I was looking for a cheap, effective, and gente whitening product when I stumbled upon Plus White on MUA. First I want to say, I love the price.. It is really inexpensive but also effective. The best part is that it is pretty gentle so I don't have to put up with sore teeth in exchange for a brighter smile. The directions say to use twice a day for the first two weeks, but I only used it once a day for double the time (10 min). Worked great! Right now, I only use once or twice every few months for maintenance. I will definitely keep buying this!

Liquid -Revlon - ColorStay Makeup

I really like this foundation because it has good coverage and it makes my skin look so good. I have ok skin to begin with but when i wear this it makes my skin look almost flawless. I even had a Sephora SA tell me I had perfect skin & ask what foundation I was wearing. She looked so shocked when i told her it was Revlon.lol When I first got it I used my ELF flat top brush to apply but it looked too thick and cakey on my skin. I get the most natural results when I dot a little bit using clean fingers and then going over that with a damp sponge. I do this in sections focusing on the cheek/nose area because I have some discoloration there. It does a great job of controlling my oilies too! Plus, it actually does stay on until you remove it so it's great on those hot summer days. My only gripe is that the bottle can get messy bc of the lack of pump. If it had a pump I would give it a 5. I'm around NC20 and I use Buff in oily/combo formula.

The formula was so dry that i couldn't get a decent enough line. When i tried, the color distributed slotchy and uneven. I would not buy this color again. I may try the other colors b/c those seem to be of better quality according to the reviews.

Eyeliner -Physicians Formula - Eye booster eyeliner + serum

First, let me start by saying i LOVE eyeliner! It is the one thing besides concealer I cannot be with out. I've searched high and low for a great drugstore eyeliner that was 1.easy to use and 2.stayed put through my seasonal allergies & oily lids. The reason i prefer DS eyeliners is that I wear it everyday so i go through them fast and I prefer to repeatedly reperchase wallet friendly things. Anyways, I wasted so much $ on eyeliners that either did not stay put or were a pain to apply a decent winged look. I am so happy with this liner, I have three backups. I didnt notice longer lashes but I did notice that my lashes were stronger and less prone to breakage so they do appear thicker. Pros: makes it SOO easy to make any type of look. Thick cateyes, subtle super thin line, you name it. -the applicator is awesome -lasts for a long time -inexpensive -Ultra black is super black! Doesnt dry gray. -dries fast -stays put & doesn't smear CONS: the only con for me is that after a few months you have to shake it up often or it doesn't apply as smooth. Not a big deal though :)

Concealers -Bobbi Brown - Corrector

Background: NC20,oily skin, dark under eyes circles Color match: Light Peach Why didn't I try this sooner? It does an incredible job neutralizing my purplish dark circles. This is a creamy formula best applied when it is allowed to "warm up" with the heat of your fingers. I have tried to apply by putting some of the concealer onto a brush and straight to my face but it applied kind of splotchy and was a bit difficult to spread around. When i have time to get ready, I put my blow dryer on warm and let the air hit the back of the container for about 20 seconds. This allows the corrector to warm up and become super creamy. I then apply by dabbing it on my circles with my finger. Use a little bit at a time or it will crease. I follow up using either Estee Lauder DW concealer 02, or Lancome Effacernes Light Buff. This corrector gave me that extra coverage that I just couldn't find with my regular concealers. I would absolutely buy again!

Sunscreen -Biore - UV Perfect Face Milk SPF 50+

I was looking around for sunscreens that would protect my face from the SoCal sun, but also keep my oily skin in check. I came across this from reviews and went ahead and bought it on Ebay for $12. I,m so glad I did! I use this on days when I know I'm going to be in the sun for a long time. Pros: great UVA/UVB protection wonderful as a makeup base! no white cast at all very liqiudy so it is easy to blend into skin keeps my oilies down until removal good price Cons: has strong alcohol smell you get a tiny amount 30ml, so have to order often if used daily Because of the alcohol content, I would recommend this for oily/very oily non-sensitive skin. I would suggest using a oil cleanser to remove beacuse it stays that well on the skin. Water and soap woudn't cut it imo. I would buy this again becaue it's the best sunscreen I've used so far that isn't too expensive.

Wow! This product is really impressive! Bought it the other day and it wore beautifully. It is creamy and really pigmented,you don't need alot to get great payoff. I could see this lasting me a long time. But to put it to the ultimate test I put it on at 9 am, knowing that i was going to the gym later on. At 6pm I went to a cycling class at the gym, and for those of you who have gone to one, you know how sweaty you get. Well after the hour long class I checked to see if it was still on and it was! It was as if I just put it on. No creasing or flaking! I got the bronze one and I will go back to get more. I will definitely repurchase. *I forgot to add that I have really oily skin and lids, which is why I'm so amazed at the staying power.

I bought this lip stain in Jitterbug quite a whila ago, and didn't like it because it settled in the cracks of my lips. Since then I have taken much better care of my lips by sleeping with lip conditioner and exfoliating often and now I like this product a lot. This color is a beautiful bright pink that I love. It glides on very nicely on the lips, not streaky like my NYC lipstain. I like to wear this color under my revlon lip butter in Sweet Tart b/c it makes the lip butter last longer. I want to go back and buy a red one now. So as long as you don't have dry flaky lips, i think this lipstain is really good. *I went back to buy Flamenco and I love it. It's a beautiful red and is super pigmented and doesn't suck the moisture out of my lips like some other lipstains do.

Bought this because i ran out of my regular conditioner (3 min miracle) and it was on sale for 1.50 so i thought what the heck. Holy cow, my hair is so shiny and soft! I think this is a great conditioner for oily hair that has little damage. It gives my fine straight hair pretty good volume and doesn't weigh it down at all. SO noticed i bought a new hair product and couldn't stop smelling my hair. I would buy again because it works well with my type of hair and it's extremely cheap.

I bought this a couple of weeks ago and I'm very pleased. It is a great product if you are in a hurry because you can just put it on, blend and go without it looking cakey. I like to set it with powder though because I am oily. I like the cooling sensation on the skin and the color goes very well with my skin tone. If i want more coverage I add a more pigmented concealer on top and it still doesn't look cakey so it's good for layering. For reference I am NC20 and have oily skin.

Lipstick -Revlon - Orange Flip

I love this lipstick because it brings my NC20 skin to life. It is very bright, very beautiful orange red that looks good with classic cat eyeliner. I have already bought again and will continue to do so.
