FINALLY an end to my life-long quest of finding an under-eye concealer that REALLY WORKS!! I will never again use another under-eye concealer as long as I can get this product!! I'm 38 and have had TERRIBLE hereditary, sun damaged & severe allergy dark eye circles since I was about 22. I've also been trying to hide them since then...with a fury. I also have excessive eye wrinkling for my age due to sun-damage and heredity. Never have I said I found a product that worked well in covering my circles & wrinkles although I feel I've "tried 'em all". ...UNTIL NOW! MY HG Under-eye concealer at last!! Never settles into lines or wrinkles, lasts all day and never cakes (unless using too much product, mixing with another product other than primer/moisturizer/SPF, or improper application). AMAZING & never before seen coverage and beautiful finish (looks more natural than any full-coverage makeup I've ever seen)!! I find that it is best to get your exact skin color in this, rather than lighter because it is so opaque that lighter will be noticeable. MAKE SURE YOU GET THE RIGHT COLOR AND WORK ON APPLICATION TECHNIQUES UNTIL IT WORKS PERFECTLY FOR YOU. Those who say it doesn't work, I believe are not applying it correctly or have the wrong color. That's just because it works SO PERFECTLY FOR ME though :) !! First of all, too little product will result in poor coverage and to much product will create application problems. I found it tricky to apply for the first month or so of use, but figured out that moisturizing is a must because this product is quick-drying so moisturizer gives you extra time before it dries making it easier to apply. When it starts to dry STOP touching it. Wait until it dries and put another layer on, in areas that need more coverage or touching up. I find my finger is the only way to apply this concealer to my under-eyes successfully. I try to put it on in one smooth swipe across and quickly blend out until it starts drying. Then I wait until its dry and put another coat on. You can even put a 3rd and 4th coat on if you keep the coats relatively thin and don't touch it while its drying. I also find it doesn't mix well with other concealers or foundations. I only use a super-light HD powder on top of it to set it. By the end of a very long work day I still have perfect coverage but may have the SLIGHTEST (less than any other concealer I've ever tried) creases under my eyes which are easily smoothed over to the former perfect finish...first smooth it over with JUST a finger and then with a touch of HD powder applied with a finger. I never touch it up during the day and only need to do "the smoothing" if I'm going out after work.

Lipstick -Revlon - Superlustrous Lipstick - Demure (LE)

I'm am NC30 in studiofix powder plus foundation (light olive) & BareMinerals Summer Bisque also perfectly matches my skin-tone. Revlon Demure is my new HG lipstick (I'm so psyched about it that I had to write my first review on Makeupalley -right here/right now- after using Makeupalley constantly for almost a year). I have been on a long and expensive quest for the perfect natural nude/peach/coral lipstick...like colors I see on all of the younger women, who are wearing peach-toned lips, on all of the "fictional cop TV shows" (all I watch). This is the BEST peach/coral nude lip color of all of the ones I have tried. I had searched swatches galore, then bought many that looked like they MAY be what I was searching for, but just weren't...until I found Demure (about a month ago in my local Walgreens - found in the store not in a swatch online). It's sheer for a lipstick but has a buildable formula. It feels very smooth on the lips (like super creamy balm) due to the formula and the amount that I use to get the color that I want. It is a cream nude coral on my lips (which are naturally very pigmented), & with my skin-tone. I LOVE to top it with MAC Eurobeat Dazzleglass (discontinued) because it picks up the brightness of the coral (ever so slightly) and adds a little shimmer. I need to find a replacement for this gloss BADLY now that I have found Demure since it is such the perfect topper for Demure IMO & for the look that I want. I love Demure by itself also and use it this way when I'm in a rush, but the Eurobeat topper gives it just a touch of brightness that I feel I need for my olive undertones and aging skin. It may be brighter & less of a "nude" on very fair skin and may look different on other skin and lip tones. As VioletOrchid said in her review: "It is luminous rather than creme, though definitely not frosty or glittery." Its not even shimmery IMO. Honestly I CANNOT detect the slightest bit of shimmer when it is on my lips - it looks like a cream (no matter how much I apply) BUT in the tube under high lighting you can indeed see some luminosity to it (ever so fine). Also, it does have a rather glossy finish. It doesn't dry out my lips at all and never leaves filmy inner-lip "gunk" as it wears. It lasts an hour or two on me due to its glossy finish, BUT I always drink a lot of liquids...therefore, going through all of the torture I put it through, an hour+ isn't bad for a non-matte lipstick. It does not look good on chapped lips...but then, what lipstick does?? I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS LIPSTICK AS LONG AS IT SOUNDS OR LOOKS LIKE SOMETHING YOU WOULD LIKE!!
