BB Cream -Unlisted Brand - Holika Holika - Peach Girl BB Cream

I wear this in the winter when I'm pale. I chose the lightest shade and the match is perfect. I apply it with my fingers, a little goes a long way. I love the texture and the coverage is great and very natural looking. I look super healthy and my skin has a nice satiny finish to it. The wear is long lasting, even without powder. My nose and chin need a little blotting around lunch time. I like the packaging (big tube: 50ml of product!). The blush and mirror are very cute. I've not used the blush yet, but it could come in handy. It looks like a standard peachy cream blush. I'm really happy to have found this (I bought it after reading the Pink Sith review) and I will probably repurchase a tube, although it'll take me a little while to finish the one I have.
Sunscreen -Boots - No7 Anti-Dark Spot Facial Sun Protection 50+

It made me very oily and shiny. My foundation lasts no more than a couple of hours with this underneath, even if i wait an age to let the ss sink in and dry (the longest I've waited is 1 hour). I tried using primer on top, before applying my foundation, makes no difference. I've put two lippies because I like that it says on the back that the tube contains 20 applications for the face, as it gives you an indication of how much you're meant to apply to get the full SPF. I don't think i managed to put on quite as much as they recommend, i applied it thickly and probably only used half the recommended dose. Scary! For reference i have normal skin in the summer and dry skin in the winter. I've used this in June, when my skin is normal. I might try and and use it the winter to see it agrees with my skin then.
Brows -Collection 2000 - Eyebrow Definer - 3 Blonde

For reference; I have light brown hair (mousey) that is highlited blonde. my eyebrows are mousey colour too. My skintone in NC20/NW20 I picked this up as I was having trouble with my current eyebrow product (LM Eyebrow pencil in fair, iirc, ELF eyebrow kit in Ash, Lamcome Eyebrow pencil in Cendre). the probelm was that I could never find a decent shade. I'm very happy with the shade of the Collection 2000 pencil, it's a light brown colour and it doesn't have the golden/red tones. it matches my eyebrow well, maybe a tad darker but I like to emphasize my brows a little. The texture is a little bit too waxy for my liking, which is why I've knocked a pencil off. If it'd been firmer it would have been HG. It's very easy to apply, you need to be lighthanded and do little strokes. don't try to draw the eyebrows with this bc it'd look really odd. the packaging is convenient, it's an automatic pencil, so no sharpening needed. the lead goes up and down with no problem. The writing on the plastic tube disappears after a while. The price is ridiculously low, iirc it's less than £3! I will repurchase, but i am also planning to get Shu Seal Brown pencil.
Pinky coral, perfect for day wear. I'm NC15/20 and it shows pinker or more coral according to what blush or top I wear. I received it in a swap because this shade is not available in the UK and I'll be looking to getting a back up because it's such an easy, pretty colour to wear, I'd be gutted if I ran of it. My only gripe with this is that it doesn't very long. I reapply every two or three hours.
OMG! This shampoo is incredible! My hair has never been so soft and smooth and shiny. Seriously, i went from witches bird nest to Cat Deely lustrous locks with this. My hair is naturally very curly and I have a Brazilian blow out every 3 months to keep it manageable but the blowout doesn't really sort out the frizzyness and the flyaways. My hair is also very dry and damaged (I have not had it cut at all for over 2 years and I bleach it). Before using this shampoo, I was fed up with my hair bc it looked so damaged and straw like and I was considering cutting it, even though i want it much longer. But now, the problems are all sorted out and my hair looks gorgeous! It's pricey but you only need a TINY amount. I use an olive size blob for my hair which is long (nipple length!). I lather it for 3 minutes, rinse and repeat twice. On average, I'd say this is about a third less than with normal shampoo. I love the fact that the shampoo doesn't contain nasties like sulfate and salt. The bottle is easy to use, no issues there. I have not used the matching conditioner, so the results i saw are only based on the shampoo. I think i will get the conditioner too next time i order.
I can't believe I bought this lipstick and, more to the point, I can't believe I love it so much! The colour is crazy neon pink so it's one for special occasions ( I have a party soon and I'm planning my outfit around this l/s). The texture is matte, but not too drying. It's very comfortable to wear, after a few minutes it doesn't feel like you're wearing lipstick. It's my first matte MAC lipstick, and if they're all like this, I'll buy more! I agree with other reviewers, I am very disappointed in the packaging, I would have like a crazy cute packaging. Even a solid pastel colour, bordering on the tacky, would have been ace. they really should have run with the theme on this one. MAC must make this shade permanent!
I am so scared that they will discontinue this shade that I'm seriously stocking up! (Going back there on Saturday to buy a couple more tubes!!) This is my HG red shade. It looks SO GOOD on, it's a subtle red with shimmer. Not far off pink, but still red (Sorry, I'm not so good at describing shades!) It's the kind of red you can wear everyday. In fact, I wear it almost everyday. I have to force myself to use my other lipsticks because otherwise I would wear this all the time and probably at night too!! I love the packaging, the tube is made of metal and it's quite small and stylish. The only reason I am not giving this 5 lippies is because the formula is a bit drying and the staying power is medium (probably because the red is not quite opaque, maybe like 90% opaque). But this doesn't put me off wearing it, I just moisturise my lips at night and in the morning a lot. Then every now and again during the day, I take off the colour, moisturise my lips and reapply again. Another point, I find this works better applied with a lip brush. I love love love love love love love this lipstick!
This is my favourite DS lipstick! If it came at a high end price, Iwould still buy it. I have this in Rose seduisant. It's a matte fushia pink. The application is smooth and accurate straight from the tube. The actual lipstick feels firm but very soft against the lips. It glides on beautifully. The effect is quite luxurious and this is why this feels like a HE lipspick. It smells nice, which is always a plus for me. The result is a long lasting matte colour that does not dry out my lips at all. Let me say this again: This lipstick does not dry out my lips!! Highly recommended!!
The only thing this does is smell of cheap bubblegum. Yuk! It had absolutely no effect on my complexion. Cute packaging though.
I normally use MF Max Masterpiece. I was running out of my umpteenth tube when I got the Falsies instead, on a whim. I hadn't read any reviews or anything. I just got seduced by the hot pink packaging!! I don't mind the wand's funny shape. I thought it was pretty easy to use. the formula seems runnier the the Max Masterpiece so it is easier to coat the lashes without clumps or spider lashes. The result is lovely, longer fuller lashes, nicely separated. However, if you expect this to give you the same look as real "Falsies", you are going to be disappointed. This is just a good mascara! EDIT: I'm taking one lippy off because I'm struggling like h*** to remove it at night. Even with Bifacil followed by a wash off cleanser, i have panda eyes in the morning. Pfff, what a drag!
I bought a large bottle of this and I'm really glad i did! I felt a little extravagant spending quite a bit of money on a make up remover, but it really is worth it! It removes all traces of make up (although I have not tried it with waterproof mascara), leaves my skin feeling soft and it smells nice. I'm always really paranoid with using a wipe off cleanser, I normally always use a wash off method. But this seems to be very effective at removing make up completely. This is exactly what I need when I'm too tired to wash off my face after a night out!
EDIT: Ignore review below, I had a hangover at the time and was talking rubbish! I've tried this again and it's niiiice! I can't smell the amonia anymore and it gives me long, full lashes. It seems to make my lashes fan out too, which is always good (I don't use curlers). However, I won't repurchase a full tube after my sample runs out because I vowed I'll never buy a HE mascara when there are excellent DS ones. ********************************************************************************** I got this mascara as a sample and I'm wearing today for the first time. I have just spent the last few hours wondering what that dreadful smell is and it's the hypnose mascara. It stinks! it was so strong earlier it made me feel nauseous. It's like I have ammonia on my face. For that reason alone, i'm marking it down. As for the quality, it's nice, but not better than the Max Factor Masterpiece that I normally use.
Oooh wow! I'm amazed by the finish of my foundation after using this! Flawless, I can hardly see my pores! This is truly amazing, I look like I've been photoshopped in real life! I took one lippie off for two reasons: It's expensive and it eats my foundation (liquid) like no other sponge. i had to use twice as much to cover my whole face. I think I'll use this on special occasions and keep my regular cheap sponges for everyday use.
I love this colour! By far one my favourite nail polish *colour*, it goes with everything, it's stylish and understated at the same time. However, I do wish that Chanel nail polishes were better quality. This only lasts 2 days without chipping. I'd expect more from Chanel. Since this polish has been released, there has been countless dupes for this shade, but I'm yet to find one that is as nice as this. I guess I just have to compromise and do a mani every other day :/
These are my favourite nail polishes. The colours are pretty and interesting. The polish itself is easy to apply and has a lovely shiny finish. I don't use base or top coats, but I apply two thin coats of the colour and make sure that the first is thoroughly dry before I apply the second one. The polish normally lasts 3-4 days chip free, which I'm very happy about. I store them in the fridge.
