Pressed Powders -Physicians Formula - Organic Wear Pressed Powder

I don`t review makeup products often, but wanted to chime my two cents in on this one. I never noticed any smell, but I have had it a couple months now, so maybe I just cannot remember. This is probably the best quality d/s pressed powder I have tried. I think it is certainly comparable in quality to lower-priced dept. store brands ( ie Cinique or Origins) and is not that much cheaper, anyway. The texture is quite sheer, so best suited for daytime or office wear or those who don`t desire lots of extra coverage. Gives a glowing finish and sets my makeup very nicely. Good color match too. Only con is the packaging gets very dirty and is impossible to clean.
Horrid, just horrid. The pretty purple tube will lure you in, but don`t be fooled. This mascara does nothing, I mean nothing. No pigment, no volume, no length. Another mascara in the trash. If you are looking for free mascara, dig through my trash.
Fragrances -Estee Lauder - Tom Ford Purple Patchouli

Just got this in a swap and I am swooming with desire for this. I have not been the biggest patch fan, and don`t particularly identify with "dirty" patchouli scents, but this is deeply compelling and smells, yes, purple. For me it is simultaneously dark and vivid, grounded and ethereal. It`s a woody patch with some florals for balance, not a dirty patch or floral with patch base. I really love this so far.
Should be called Volume Clumping. In the trash bin it goes.
I bought this on ebay unsniffed as i love smoky vanilla ( PdN Vanille Tonka being a favorite), but for the fleeting few moments that it lasts, i just get the almond/angelica note, that is not my fave. If you love Hypnotic Poison and are ready to 'kick it up a notch" to something more subtle and refined, Vanille Exquise is your scent. I don't like HP and I did not care for VE either.
If it were niche, it would get a lot more respect. Aloof, mysterious incense. Not warm, not comforting, but a woody and insidiously inviting hint of pepper and and orchid that keeps winking in the background. Not coy, not come and get it vixen. I am here, you will remember me, I will haunt you forever sexiness. The deep midnight blue that makes you yearn for the nightime and all things just barely out of reach.
Ok, this seems to be a love it or hate it fragrance. My verdict? Hate it. I have no idea where the warm, bakery, cinnamony, description comes from. On me, this is a nuclear chemical plant. Nuff said.
Spritzed this on at Macys during my break. Good thing I have no one to impress today as this is just horrible on me. Super-powdery and alcaholish, this does nothing for me. Not the least bit sexy and nothing resembling sensual. I'll stay far away from this one.
On me, a better name for this would be Dissappearing Act by Kenzo. I got this in swap in a glass decant. I was so sure I would love this, and I am really sad we did not work out. I used several drops on boths wrists, scent was completely gone within 10 minutes. Undetectable. At first sniff, it is very sublte, internal Oriental. I love that quality and hope to find it in another fragrance that works better for me. This one, sorry to say, was swapped immediately.
Oh, I love this!!!!! Got this on ebay and I pray it is never discontinuted. I am not wearing it now, so can't get poetic at the moment, but I just cannot keep my nose from my wrist when I wear this. So mysterious, and so inviting. Yes!!!!
The pros; I really love this fragrance. Admittedly, I have not worn it public yet, as I just got a small bottle of ebay in the mail today,, but it is an intoxicating fragrance. Not too sweet, not too spicy, and that tiny dash of pepper is always lingering obsurely in the background. On me, it is not too powerful, so I think it can be worn day or evening. My best guess so far is its ideal for casual evening or date. I just love the suble berry over a warm bed os soft floral and earthy spice. And that pepper gives it that unique and edgy flavor. It is for a woman with an offbeat or rebellious side to her. The cons; No staying power, at least so far. I hope this changes, as I want this to be a real winner. Update: Ok, love affair is over. While I enjoy the initial aroma, there is absolutely no staying power. In one hour, it is gone. And I am just not sure of the one's character. I will use up the 0.5 oz bottle and that will be it for this one.
Lucky I bought a couple bottles before the prices online went waaaaaaaaaaay up. Cannot say much more than has already been said. Love it. Enveloping, sensual, simultaneously comforting and arousing. A feast for my senses.

For daytime when I want something light, this works great for me. I know for many here it is too sweet, but on me it smells lovely. I get many compliments and people just respond well to it. Lightly sweet and inviting, non-threatening. Staying power not so great, but the price is right. Great casual scent.
I am in heavan with this liquid paradise. From the intial blast of gasoline to the faintest lingering sandalwood, I cannot stop smelling my wirst. As woody and spicy as it is, there is a clarity that is so enticing. And my date did not stop nuzzling my neck. Will invest in a bottle when the decant runs dry.

I love Oriental vanilla scents, so antoher one I expected to adore. Purchased a decant on ebay without ever having tried it before, as so many raved about this smokey, dark vanilla . Maybe I got a bad decant or something, but I smelled nothing but vanilla in an astray. I tried and tried to like this, but was to no avail. I think I swapped it.
