Lovely, shimmery finish with this pale neutral brown eyeshadow. This is SO blendable and versatile... I wear it alone during the day as an all over wash, and layer it with Nocturnelle for evening wear (the combination really resembles Trax). This has become a staple
Moisturizers -Clearasil - Acne Fighting Moisturizer

I love this moisturizer. I tend to get very bad breakouts, followed by a period of bad dryness. I love this moisturizer because it DOESN'T break me out. I haven't noticed my skin being any better acne-wise with its use, but my skin DOES look healthier, not flakey, makeup goes on smoother, etc. My best results have been with using this during the day, and a BP treatment for drying up pimples at night (wow that just sounds SO glamourous) As for the texture... I like it a lot! Its very watery, so it's easy to squeeze too hard and have too much come out, but once you get the hang of it, a little bit goes SUCH a long way... I find this absorbs really nicely without leaving that greasy feeling. The container is perfect, too.
I love the smell of Fructis conditioners, and I like how easy it was to brush through my hair after, but every Fructis conditioner I've tried always leaves my hair a poufy mess. And maybe its all in my head, but my hair feels strangely "coated" after I use this. Someday I might buy again, but I'm still on the hunt for a great smelling shampoo that can really perform.
I originally bought this because I liked the scent, however, the scent really didn't last very long. I found this shampoo very drying, and left my hair significantly more tangled than when I used any other shampoo. Not that great, if you ask me.
Love, love, love. This shampoo smells great, rinses clean, gets rid of all the gunk in my hair, and actually leaves my hair feeling THICKER than when I use volumizing shampoos. True, it can be drying, but not when paired with the Instantly Gratifying conditioner. Together, these two are AMAZING for my fine-but-abundant colour-treated hair. And the price is pretty reasonable, too. Plus they look so cute next to eachother in the shower :P
I bought this when I needed a no-frills, clarifying shampoo. And really, that's what this product is. It left little or no scent in my hair, which is a plus for me because I generlly hate the smell of Pantene's product. It left my hair feeling SO clean, and free of all the gunk I've been putting in it lately. However, I soon realized that I can't use this shampoo every day, as it just becomes too drying for my colour-treated hair. So I use this shampoo a few times per week, and so far, I love it! Cheap and effective!
Mascara -Cover Girl - Cover Girl Professional Mascara (washable)

I'm one the fence with this mascara, but I keep coming back to it because I haven't really found anything better for my money. On the one hand, I love the applicator better than any I've ever tried; its curve "fits" my lashline so perfectly. I also like how it gives me volume, without sacrificing the length. The drawbacks are that it dried quite hard (re: impossible to put on a second coat) and does not tend to hold a curl very well. I guess I'm still on the hunt for the perfect mascara, but in the meantime, this will do.
Mascara -Maybelline - Great Lash Mascara Blackest Black

Great Lash mascara in blackest black really is the darkest mascara I've ever used. My only wish is that it wouldn't make my eyes water so much (it tends to be pretty runny, so inevitably, my eyes water and I end up with racoon-like eyes). I find this mascara is great for adjusting lash volume... One coat makes me look cute for daytime wear, and 3 is for more va-va-va-voom occasions. Considering the price, it's pretty great quality, and takes me forever to use up the tube (I like the packaging, too.... kinda cute and retro)
Mascara -Maybelline - XXL volume+length microfiber mascara
candykittylola 8/6/2005 10:33:00 PM
Perhaps I'm just completly inept, but I couldn't completly cover the white primer with the black mascara, and the effects weren't anything to write home about. I found that my lashes just felt strangely heavy, but with not enough increased volume that I'd suffer through it in the name of beauty :) Also, I found the consistency to be pretty dry, though I do admit it was a nice change from Maybelline's usually gloopy mascaras. Overal, this two-step mascara didn't really give me the results I needed, so I won't repurchase.
This mascara, while lengthening, REALLY lacked in the volume department. Okay, okay, I know it's not SUPPOSED to give volume, but even other mascara's I've tried at least made them look a little thicker. That being said, it DID make them look fairly long, but this mascara isn't dramatic enough for me. It would probably be great for someone who wants a very natural, minimal look from their mascara.
This mask is great for oily skin. I try not to use it on my cheeks, because it could be slightly drying there. I like that it is both an exfoliant and a clay mask... it really mattifies my skin for a long time after using it. It reduces the appearance of my crater-like pores, though it can irritate some existing pimples. It's really affordable, even though the packaging could be improved (Flip-top, please!) Overall, I'd say its great quality for the price
Styling Products -Got 2 Be - 2sexy- Voluptuous Volume Styling Lotion
candykittylola 8/3/2005 5:41:00 PM
Beautiful scent that lasts a long time in my just-past-shoulder-length hair. I'd never used a gel-product to provde volume, and boy do I regret not doing it now... I LOVE THIS STUFF! It wasn't at all sticky like most lotions, so it was SO easy to distribute through my abundant fine hair. I didn't even need very much to get results. My hair looked thicker, without being poofy at the ends like it normally does. This is the first volumizing product that I've ever found that makes my hair look fuller AND shinier. And the packaging looks really cute and sexy, no need to hide it in the medicine cabinet!
I wanted to love this. At first, I was worried that a gel cleanser would dry my skin out. In fact, the opposite happened... my skin was greasy RIGHT after cleansing with this "oil control' cleanser. It didn't lather very well (and I'm a gal who likes her lather) and it seemes to take forever to rinse off. Actually, after washing with this, I still had the feeling of soap on my face... not a great way to start the day. Okay, so it DOES remove my make up, it didn't break me out, and the smell/packaging are good, but I will not buy again because I need something more effective for my acne-prone skin.
Conditioner -Got 2 Be - Instantly Gratifying Conditioner

I am in love with this conditioner. It works SO fast, and was the most effective conditioner I've ever found that actually helped me avoid tangles in my fine hair. True, my hair wasn't full of volume (it IS an intensive conditioner, after all) but it looked so shiny and healthy that I couldn't bring myself to care! And I LOVE the scent. The packaging isn't great, but its worth it for what's on the inside of the bottle.
I LOVE this eyeshadow. I use it with a very fine liner brush for a subtle daytime look. But what this is REALLY great for is a smokey nighttime look... It's so sexy, and the sparkles go on beautifully. Most black eye shadows tend to go on very grey, but this one stays true to its hue, hehehe.
