This is my first OCC lip tar and i LOVE it! I have to start out by saying, i have found myself not wearing any lip products over the past few years because i have never loved lipsticks due to their drying quality if they have any sort of lasting power and i got tired of wasting my money on lipgloss that only last 15 minutes. I have been reading tons of hype about lip tars and a couple weeks ago i stumbled upon a discount code so i decided to finally give one a try. I searched online for all the pictures i could find of the various colors show on peoples lips. I finally selected memento based on reviews of the color and my skin tone. I have to say memento is definitely more coral than i expected but i love it for a summer color, it is by no means a "shocking" color like some of the others in the lip tar line up are. Its a great everyday color and the best part about it is it applies perfectly and gives me the great coverage of a lipstick but the comfort of a gloss. Memento does not have a glossy finish, its more satin, but could easily be topped with clear gloss to give it some shine. I have not experienced any extreme dryness to my lips, though it does dry down to where it feels like i have no product on my lips, and it is not even close to as drying as a long lasting lipstick. Overall i am really pleased with this product and will be recommending lip tars to friends and family, i cant wait to try some of the other fun colors!

Polishes -Rescue Beauty Lounge - Locavore

i love the glitter polishes from rescue beauty, they are completely unique from any other glitter polishes ive ever seen. as mentioned below this polish does chip if used alone but i dont mind because it is so easy to repair chips in glitter polish. i have found if i layer this over a color, i chose no more war, it wears wonderfully. really fun and non typical polish from rescue beauty and as usual i am not disappointed by the polishes by this brand.

I bought this color for the unique color and i love the name because my husband is in the military. This met all my expectations as i expect based on my past experience with rescue beauty. I have yet to find a polish that wears better and it is my number one favorite nail polish brand!! i love layering locavore over this as this color really make the glitter pop. i would for sure buy this product again if i ever ran out.

I love this polish so much, and all the rescue beauty lounge polishes for that matter. the RBL polishes wear extremely well so to me that makes them worth the money. I normally wear dark colors, especially on my toenails because i am not found of the baby pinks and whites that seem to be the only other option so much of the time. I love the "jelly" like look of this polish and i cant wear it enough. I love using it on my finger nails as well which is a bit rare for me as i usually do not wear polish on fingernails. Love Love Love this!

i love love love this nail polish. i was a bit unsure of this color when placing my first order from rescue beauty lounge but due to the high reviews i found here i decided to try it. Its a lot dark then it appears in the bottle, which is fine by me. It looks almost black with 3 coats from afar but under lights its for sure a beautiful shade of green. Its a color i feel works year round and im sure i will use it time and time again. I have received many compliments on this color. love it!!

Powder -MAC - Mineralize Skinfinish Duo in Light Medium Natural / Shimmer

I really like the matte side of this product. It isn't cakey like some matte powders can be. The shimmer side is good for when i want to highlight but i don't do this very often so i wish there was a lot less of it in the compact. Maybe like 80% matte and 20% shimmer. I would probably buy this product again but not for sure... wish i could choose maybe.

Powder -MAC - Mineralize Foundation / Loose - Medium

I purchased this product to wear in the summer as my foundation. I was looking for something that was light and still had some good coverage. I was concerned that this product might orange after oil developed on my face, which happens fairly fast because of the texas heat. However it remained true to color and gave me just the right amount of coverage. I hate the way this product is packaged though. I havent had any spilling problems but i use a brush with this product and its hard to get out of the grates and i dont like dumping some out, seems wasteful. I dont really like the little "poof" thing that is meant to be used for application. So overall great product i would buy again for sure, hope the packaging changes and it'll be perfect!!

Lipstick -MAC - Mattene in Composure

I love, love, love the mattene lipsticks and i am soooo angry they are LE!!! Composure is another lovely color from the mattene line. This is a bronze plum on me and with my olive skin tone, it looks great! Its perfect for the fall/winter season. The mattenes wear soooo well and are very comfortable, not drying at all. I also like the tube it comes in and the size of the product itself, it is easier to apply than regular tubes. I am stocking up on many of the colors before there gone and crossing my fingers that these get added to the permanent collection.

Highlighters -Guerlain - Meteorites in Gold Temptation, LE Holidays 2007

I really like this product, but its not my favorite meteorites, which is mythic, but it is fun for the holidays to add a little more sparkle to my skin. I agree i dont like the large glitters in it, so i always try to brush it off just leaving the golden shimmer. Without the glitter this is very nice, and might be my favorite if it didnt have the glitter. I dont think i would ever buy this meteorites again because i doubt i would ever run out as i wont be using this that often. Plus its LE and i bet when the next holiday meteorites comes out i will like it just as well...

Eye Primer -Urban Decay - Eyeshadow Primer Potion - Original (UDPP)

This is a must have product for me! It keeps my shadows in place all day and prevents creasing, which is a big problem for me as i have oily eye lids. I like that this doesnt add any color to my skin, some other primers i have tried do which causes my shadows to look totally different. A little bit goes a long way and it doesnt feel sticky at all. It also has a applicator, which i like because i hate sticking my fingers in product, it seams unclean to me. I will repurchase this again and again.

Lip Gloss -MAC - Electro-Lush Lipglass

I am not a big gloss person but this was put on me during a make up application and i fell in love with the color. On me it is a nice neutral berry and is super glossy and so pretty. It feels good on, not as sticky which is part of what i hate about most glosses. This also wears really, really well for a gloss, which is the other thing i hate about most glosses. Its also less see through than other glosses, which is a big plus to me, why wear something no one can see, right? I will probably try other lipglass colors because i like this one so much, i hope they are all this good. I plan on stocking up on this color because it is limited edition.

Blush -MAC - Matte Blush - Desert Rose

This is pretty much the only blush that will stay on until i take it off. It looks scary in the pot but when applyed it gives me a natural "just was out in the cold" look. I also like that this does not have any shimmer or glitter in it. I really like the texture of this product, it isnt gritty like many of the other blushes i have tried (not by mac), it goes on smoothly and evenly.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Veluxe - Kid

This color is great to use in the crease. It gives my shadow a nice clean look on my eyes, it keeps shadow from traveling up to my brows. Its a neutral skintone color that helps to give the eye a bit more dimension, kind of like contouring for your eyes. This product wears really well and has a great texture.

Another great matte shadow from the matte2 line by mac! this one is a light neutral color that really brightens up my eyes. For me it isnt as light as it looks in the pot. I think this looks great with typographic, also from the matte2 line, for a smoky eye suitable for day. As with all mac shadows this wears really well, and like all the matte2 shadows the texture is so smooth! I am so happy this is not limited edition because i will definitetly buy this again when i run out.

I love this dark gray matte shadow, its just what i had been looking for. I got it to use in my crease for smoky eyes, it works great for that and i found that i could also use it over my whole lid and blend it out for a nice gray. It is way darker in the pot then how it looks on skin and i find a little goes a long way. It wears very well, as do all the mac shadows i have tried. If i ever run out of this, which i doubt, i would repurchase.
