Polishes -Seche Vite - Nail Lacquer

I bought the Secrets of the French Manicure set, and it is fantastic. It is so fantastic that I had a nightmare last night that I took off my french manicure and put on my old favorite nail polish, China Glaze Ruby Red Pumps. But, when I woke up I saw my nails and they still had the Seche Vite on. I don't understand why the instructions don't have you put the base coat under the white tips? The top coat makes my nails look thick, and it is self leveling so it is very, very smooth. They almost look fake except that I have newly extremely short nails. Ooh, speaking of short nails- I have never used the guide stickers because I have good fine motor control, but I don't understand how people with short nails are supposed to paint white on only the tips and not get it on the tips of their fingers. So that was helpful. Apparently the top coat requires you to buy thinner or it gets too thick to use after a while- I am not really interested in doing that, so I am not sure I will buy again.

Lip Gloss -Hard Candy - Key To My Heart Keychain (l/g duo)

The pink is soooo amazing! It is pretty and shiny and it isn't too bright or too soft. The formula is kind of gooey though; the gloss melts when you dip into it. I think the reddish pink half of the duo is okay.I like the keychain but it seems really lightweight, I think I might clip it into my purse for easy access but would not use it as a keychain. The little latch tab is so sturdy that it is a little hard to open. I can see how some people could break the hinges easily.

Lipstick -Delux Beauty - Sheer Lipstick- Delbert [DISCONTINUED]

Wait, why is it named Delbert? How weird. This is a nice, basic red, made more wearable by how light and sheer it is. Also, it is a standard size amount of product in a little tube, which is neat and compact. It does have a slight jasmine smell.

This is very metallic. I think a matte lipstick has to tone down the gold or it is too hard to wear. I do think this color looks decent on.

HG. I was so surprised when I put it on and actually got a deep clear red from a lip gloss in a pot! And it's really creamy and stays really well. Also, on beautyticket.com it costs 4.99.

Blush -Passport - Nomad Go Anywhere Color in MIA

Wow. This is absolutely a perfect blush! It's sheer and goes on redder than it looks in the tube (it just looks like a reddish bronzer)I love how natural (ah, the color is natural, not the shimmer) it looks. It's a little hard to tell the true color on my face because my cheeks are always flushed (blush makes it look more even), but on my hand it is kind of bronze/light red. It's in a great lightweight pink tube, which would definitely be really portable. I don't see myself reapplying blush during the day, but if you swim or something, this would totally be a non messy easy choice. It smells a tiny, tiny bit like sunscreen in the tube, but has no discernable scent on. I have never used a stick blush, and it is very easy.

Best lipbalm ever! It is refreshing and minty and very light (not greasy/sticky). It lasts forever (I am on my 3rd tin of it and have been using it for just over 8 years). I think if they made a version without peppermint oil I would buy it, because I like to wear this under lipstick to keep my lips from drying out, and the scent can conflict with lipsticks' scents. Oh, and the tin- I agree that it is a little annoying to have to apply it with your fingers, especially when camping/backpacking, but otoh the tin is amazingly durable. Well, actually, the enamel does get banged off, but it is waterproof and everything.

Fragrances -Carolina Herrera - 212 Sexy

This is a little bit too bold- I'm not sure it suits me. It is sweet and spicy. I would not describe it as "sexy" but I think compared to all of my daintier fragrances it kind of is. The bottle is really the best part.

This is fresh and pretty. I don't reach for it very often because it is not original/memorable. I think it smells like jasmine and it is very strong.

Fragrances -Demeter - Sugar Cookie Pick Me Up Spray

I got a .33 oz bottle of this as part of a set, and I don't know whether it smells good or weird. It is a really nice, sugary smell. I think it lasts a long time, but I am very sensitive to scents so that might be why I can still smell it all day. It is the only foodie fragrance I own and I feel like I am going around smelling like cake all day. I am trying to think of something besides my body that I can scent with it, like a sweater (that would be so cozy!), but the tiny bottle is a splash on bottle, so that would be difficult.

Eyes -New York Color - Eye Shimmer

You have to apply this really sparingly or it is too over the top, but I love it. This is what I use when I haven't slept. I do that really obvious inside-corner-of-my-eyelids thing, black mascara on the outside corner eyelashes, and pink blush with a nude lip, and get compliments on how bright eyed or awake I look. Also, it costs a dollar. So, I will definitely repurchase. If giving it a 4.5 rating was a choice, that's what I would rate it, because it does not stay very well.

I have the Soft Blush Frost and it is lovely. It is mostly white but it glows a little bit pink and a tiny bit green. I do have a tiny problem with streaky application. It does last several days without chipping, which is great.

I don't remember how I acquired a second bottle of this- not really a color to stock up on IMO. It is a pretty and soft tawny cool color, with a tiny bit of shimmer. The formula goes on smoothly and takes 2 coats to get bottle color. I have not kept it on long enough to find out whether it chips.

I have only tried the 11 gram sample of this. I think it came in one of those little Burt's Bees kits. I like how moisturizing it is for my dry skin , and I like that it is made from natural ingredients, but the smell is very strong. So, for that reason I will probably never buy a full size tube.
