Highlighters -Stila - All Over Shimmer Duo Kitten

Ha! I didn't realize this was an all over highlighter until looking at the reviews. I got it with a Sephora Favorites Glitz And Glam Party Sampler, I think it was $45 over the holidays. Anyhow this was one of the full sized products and considering the packaging it has I never would have guessed it was meant for highlighting. Seems like an awkward shaped pans for that. Anyhow I use the lighter color for my full eyelid then I put the golden color in my crease. Put a thin line of liquid mascara and I have a office friendly makeup look. Might have to start actually using it as a highlighter now too!

Cleansers -Clarisonic - Refreshing gel cleanser

I got a small sample of this cleanser when I purchased my Mia2. The sample did last me a few months, which was surprising because it was a little sample bottle (1oz), so a little cleanser does go a long way. I did like how using this with a combination of the Mia2 got my face really clean, when I used a toner after there would be no makeup on cotton ball. It also seems like I have had fewer breakouts. I am at the point where I don't think I can justify spending $25 on a 6oz bottle. If the Mia2 doesn't work as well with a different cleanser or I notice I am breaking out more I might break down and get the cleanser but for now I think I will try something else.

Mascara -Make Up For Ever - Smoky Lash Extra Black Mascara

It is annoying because I love dark dark eyelashes and this gives me the color I want but it is soooo flaky. I hate that when I wear this I have to check constantly to make sure there aren't flakies under my eyes and on my cheeks. It is pretty hard to use, it is really clumpy which might be because it is a volumizing mascara but it causes me too much grief to continue to purchase. After reading the MUA positive reviews I have a couple tips that might make this more bearable to wear before I run out. I just hate wasting what is left in the tube and will keep it for at least a purse mascara. It would be great if that advice can turn my opinion around even a little bit because normally I am a HUGE Makeupforever fan.

Lotions/ Creams -St. Ives - Naturally Smooth Body Lotion

I really love how soft this makes my skin feel. It is non greasy and seems to improve my skin texture. The major downfall for me is the smell. It smells so strong and totally competes with my perfume. It is tolerable but not a smell I enjoy at all. For an example it has been 3 hours since I have put it on and I can still smell it on me big time! I will repurchase because I like feel it is really beneficial to my skin but I will only put it on at night and hope the smell is gone by morning. How I wish this was unscented!

I really do like this heat protector for my color treated hair. When I use spray heat protectors I get worried I am not fully protecting my hair so I really like that this is a cream. It gives my hair shine, I have no frizz and my hair doesn't feel filmy or weighed down. I would like to think that while this is expensive to me (around $15) it is saving my color treated hair from fading fast and protecting it from heat and sun damage. I really do feel like this is 3 products in 1!

I am so happy I came across this product! I use as a nightly moisturizer and use about 4 drops on my face and 1 drop on my neck, rubbing on my hands first and massaging well onto face. Since it is an oil I thought it would make my face look greasy but it absorbs within a few minutes. I have always taken care of my skin and it was in good condition before I started using this but even after a couple uses I was noticing improvements, brighter skin, smaller pores, etc. Now that I have been using it for a few months I will never go back to not having this as a part of my nightly routine. It smells slightly nutty, but once it is on my skin the smell disappears. I nicknamed this Angel Tears because I think it is an absolute miracle product!

Fragrances -Kenzo - Amour by Kenzo

I received a sample of this from Sephora a few years ago. I immediately got the full sized. I think this fragrance reads well during the fall and winter months but might be too overpowering for summer. I find that I get tired of wearing this if I wear it too many days in a row. The plus side is I get lots of compliments on it when I wear it. It is not my favorite but I will finish the rest in the bottle. Will not repurchase when it is finished.

I have been using this blush for a year now. I have always love it but never realized how amazing it was until I used it on someone else. My sister in law got married over the summer and I did her wedding makeup. This blush looked great in person but also photographed really great. I have a pretty decent amount of blushes and this is one of my favorites!

I don't know if I could purchase this for so much moolah! I got this as a free sample. The price was marked on it 65 bucks and it was free!!!! I have been using this for nearly 2 weeks and I have noticed an improvement in my skin texture and pore size. It really does smell like dead fish though. I agree with everyone who has said that on here. I am also extremely confused with people who say it smells like flowers, cake or lemon. Maybe they have come up with ways to mask the fishy smell since it is pretty overwhelming. For those who have can afford to spend big bucks on beauty this is an amazing product!

Cleansers -Neutrogena - Oil-Free Acne Wash Pink Grapefruit Facial Cleanser

This is my first comment, which shows how deeply disappointed I am. I went to the store and was going to get the St. Ives Apricot Face Wash but they didn’t have any in stock and I was in major need of some acne wash. I have the worst infected chin pimples ever! I decide on the fly to get the grapefruit wash and get home and see it got horrible reviews. Mostly for drying the face out, I didn’t care I needed to dry these pimples out. I have used it 2 days and cleaned my face with it 5 times. That is all it took for my face to look as bad as I think I have ever seen it. My face is so dry that I look years older, my smile lines are so defined! This morning I woke up with my cheeks totally red and I am getting dry patches all over my face. On top of all that my pimples are still there! This will go to the back of my makeup closet maybe will work for back or chest acne. Major bummer!
