I'm usually a lipstick gal, but this l/g has changed me back into a l/g gal. I love how pigmented this gloss is and it shows up beautifully on my pigmented lips without primer. It doesn't have the uber stickiness ( like MAC's); and I love the lip gloss wand. It's bogo now, so i'm tempted to try other colors.

Eyeliner -MAC - Pearlglide Liner in Fly-By-Blu

From the suite array collection. The pearlglides are very smooth and easy to apply especially for an pencil eyeliner noob like myself. I've got oily skin so I was afraid of smudging or e/l disappearing at the end of the day. I've had them on for 7 hours and it's still on. :) I did prep with art deco e/s primer and a neutral e/s. These are the 2nd pearlglides I have (the first was wolf). And i hope it becomes a part of their permanent collection. These were everything i hoped their powerpoint e/l pencils would wear on me. It's the same size as their powerpoint e/l

Mascara -Clinique - High Impact Mascara

I received the gwp product from the latest clinique gift item. I did curl my lashes before applying the mascara; on my right lash it was a beautiful curl; but unfortunately on my left eye it was very wimpy i had to use my CGLB to volumize and even it out.

Eye Shadow -L'Oreal - Color of Hope--HOPEFUL SPIRIT

Usually I use an e/s primer before i applying my eyeshadows. And these e/s are very pigmented. I've used most of the colors for an eotd except for the darkest color. I've bought a color of hope quad last year and I liked the quality of these e/s.

Eyeliner -Jane - Be Pure Mineral Gel Eyeliner

I have the jane e/l in brown and wine (purple). I do prefer the purple more than the brown since the coloring is nicer. The brown isn't as nice. But since these are cheaper than BB and MAC's fluidlines; these are a great training gel e/l for me to practice on before i use the nicer ones and BB and MAC have a bigger color range. The brush that comes with it is very useful, even though I bought the MAC 263 and have issues eye lineing (pencil and gel form). This jane brush even though it's shaped like the 263, is very easy to use (even for someone who is terrible at eyelineing). It just takes a lot of practice :)

When I first saw the product pic on Neiman's website I was already sold on this color; so waited around for free shipping. Fortunately this is a permanent e/l :) yeah, i was misinformed by a nordstrom's SA who said this was LE for their annual sale. This is a beautiful color (dark purple with gold shimmer); and a great creamy finish; which i was very surprised and pleased with. I've owned the Violet ink and Ivy Shimmer ink and both were very dry in comparison to my fluidlines. Returned Ivy because it was too dark for me. I have dark brown eyes and NC35 skintone. Unfortunately I'm still learning how to apply cream/ gel eyeliners. So I'm trying to practice on it (finding the right brush) and then i'm set :)

Eyeliner -Cover Girl - Perfect Point Plus Eyeliners

I bought this e/l after seeing a friend apply it. Bought the charcoal color, very smooth application. after an hour: colors is still on, i did use a neutregena eye cream prior ( i wasn't intentionally using it as eye primer for the e/l) before applying it. The smudger really isn't very fuctional; i just use a wet q-tip to wipe off extra liner on my eye since i prefer a thinner look. Would love to try a dark brown color when this runs outs. update: took down some lippies. yeah it smudged

Makeup Brushes -MAC - #217 Blending

This brush was sitting in my brush stash for awhile and recently used it to blend my eyeshadows. It has been great. Eyeshadow blending is my most difficult part of eyeshadow application but this brush makes it super easy. I just did the "windshield" wiper technique and it blended my e/s beautifully.
