Moisturizers -Burt's Bees - Radiance Night Creme

I really like this cream, but it took awhile for me to get used to it. The smell is great and it feels silky on your fingers, but it sits very heavy, sticky, and suffocating on your face. However, I realized that my face looks great the following morning. Maybe it works more like a protective mask as opposed to absorbing in. Whatever it is, my face is softer, more even toned, moisturized, dewy, and glowing after I wash my face in the morning. Really, if your goal is to get soft, glowing skin, then who really cares about how it looks/feels on you while you're sleeping? I'd rather wear a heavy face to bed (and wake up with a light, fresh face!) than waste my money on expensive facials with fleeting results, painful/expensive laser treatments/peels, or more expensive creams (that are full of synthetic chemicals too) that don't deliver the same results. I think people tend to give up on beauty products too easily. They will expect immediate results and then throw away their product in 2 days and go buy another one. With this product, people need to get past the sticky application and realize it is about the skin's benefits after a few days and not how it feels while they put it on!

Lip Treatments -Burt's Bees - Beeswax Lip Balm

In my childhood and teenage years, I was addicted to cherry Chapstick. Then sometime during college, my lips became completely allergic to it and would always crack, peel, and bleed. I tried all other brands of lip balm--Blistex, Alba--you name it, I've tried it. They all made my lips bleed. Burt's is the only brand I've found that doesn't irritate my lips. I think it is because it is the only one without SPF. I like this because it is natural and I don't like the stickiness/slickness of lip glosses. When I don't use it, my lips become very dry. I do notice though that my lips are never as soft as they used to be when I had used Chapstick.

Shampoo -Burt's Bees - Very Volumizing Pomegranate & Soy Shampoo

I wanted an eco friendly shampoo and since I love Burt's chapsticks so much, I tried their shampoo. BIG mistake. Their shampoo (and conditioner) wins you over with the yummy smell, but don't perform well. My hair was voluminous for a few days but then the residue just made my scalp super greasy. The more I tried to shampoo it out, the greasier it got. It looked like someone had smeared butter on my hair. And my hair naturally isn't even that greasy; I can go a couple days without washing it and it looks just fine!

Conditioner -Burt's Bees - Volumizing with Soy and Pomegranate

Treatments (Eye) -Origins - Dr Andrew Weil for Origins Plantidote Mega-Mushroom Eye Serum

I received a sample of this because I complained about the darkness under my eyes. I don't have puffy or wrinkled eyes; I just have darkness due to genetics. I found that it really got rid of the darkness and I like it a lot because it is not just a concealer, but since my problem is not so bad, I'm not sure if I would spend about $40 for the little bottle.
