Polishes -China Glaze - Cyberspace
caleee143 3/15/2011 10:26:00 PM
Meh...when I went to Sally's the only remaining colors were cyberspace and a lilac color (very similar to the lilac shade in milani's line of holographic nail polishes). Seeing as I already own the milani version, I chose cyberspace instead. I like the overall taupe color but my milani nail polishes are more holographic then this one and milani is $1.50 cheaper at the Sears here. Slightly disappointed this time around.

Eye Shadow -Urban Decay - Naked Palette

Yes, I bought it and love it. I'm very disappointed in the brush but I have others. Definitely a great buy, even my husband likes looking at it!

Eyeliner -Jordana - Fabu Liner Liquid Eyeliner Pen
caleee143 3/5/2011 9:05:00 PM
I have already shown my love by repurchasing this three times! I use it almost everyday. It is a nice rich black with crazy staying power and I actually prefer this to my BB gel liner which flaked like crazy.

Eye Primer -Too Faced - Shadow Insurance, Anti-Crease Eye Shadow Primer
caleee143 3/5/2011 8:56:00 PM
I'm still on the fence about this (and udpp). It seems like this primer likes to work some days and not others. Sometimes my shadows will look as freshly applied at the end of the as they did in the morning and sometimes everything will just melt into a big mess with no defined eyelid, crease or highlight color. It is also pretty pricey but it will last forever since it's being cycled in and out of rotation right now.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Blanc Type - Matte2
caleee143 3/5/2011 8:47:00 PM
I never understood the hype around using a highlight shade on your browbone, especially when I would see women with severe shimmer racing stripe syndrome ie. porn stars, strippers. Then I received this in a swap and I understood. A MATTE highlight is the trick! It can sometimes pull a little too pinky if I pick up too much shadow and it has a little bit of a fallout problem (which is easily cured). I wear this almost everyday, either as a highlight or as a base, my favorite look being the pin up look with my favorite crease shade (Bobbi Brown hot stone) and winged eyeliner. Don't forget the red Lippie!!

Eye Shadow -MAC - Naked Lunch
caleee143 3/5/2011 8:32:00 PM
Being someone with warmer coloring, I had figured that all that glitters would have been a wonderful shimmering nude shadow but then I found naked lunch. Naked lunch is cooler toned to me and works better with my NC40-42 skin. Like the previous reviewer, this is very similar to the second color in the naked palette and with these two in my vanity I don't think I'll ever have to repurchase.

Mascara -MAC - Opulash
caleee143 3/5/2011 6:38:00 PM
Love this mascara! It can give you amazing lashes but only after two coats. This mascara has only smudged on me once and that was this morning because I didn't wash my face last night. When I wash this off it reminds me of the tube style mascara which may explain why I have never seen any flaking or smearing whatsoever. Will repurchase again and again!

Blush -Physicians Formula - Happy Booster™ Glow & Mood Boosting Blush in Natural
caleee143 3/5/2011 6:08:00 PM
Let me just start off saying that I probably should have purchased the rose booster because the natural is just a little too natural on my NC40-42 skin. It was the hearts I tell you! Anyways, what this lacks in pigment (for me) it makes up in versatility. I can easily make any of my matte blushes glow just by swiping this on afterwards. I especially love it over bronzed. The smell is lovely from a distance but I wish it came unscented. Also it was a little on the pricey side but I was able to get 10% off because every blush in both rose and natural were broken. I actually prefer this over my Bobbi Brown shimmerbricks!

Liquid -Maybelline - Fit Me Foundation
caleee143 3/1/2011 11:59:00 PM
Now THIS is an amazing drugstore foundation! Finding a foundation for me NC40-42 skin was always such a pain that I would normally cough up the money for Bobbi Brown's foundation but lately it's been bothering me (and frankly my husband) that my foundation costs more than our water bill. I was in Walmart way too late last night when I came across this foundation and at six dollars and change, even my cheapo husband said "buy it!" I put this foundation on at 1pm with no primer (I forgot), set it with my BB loose powder and went on with my day. It is now nearly 11pm and I almost look more fresh than when I first did my makeup! I am also surprised by the color match as everything in the dark section looked too dark for me. I pulled out the color matching card (ladies please don't ever match your makeup to your wrist color) and saw one very yellow shade among the medium section, number 220. Now how something that light matches my skin is beyond me. This is a thin formula but it's not that thin! Anyways it reminds me of the BB skin foundation which I also love. Four lippies just because of the scent...it's just too strong for something we're wearing all over our faces.

Treatments -Burt's Bees - Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream
caleee143 12/21/2010 2:34:00 PM
First off, I have the version in the silver tin. It's an 'okay' product for me, good enough for a quick touch up if you're out and about. However, I don't feel as if it works all that well by it's self. After asking someone how to get rid of hangnails, they said to moisturize A LOT!! So I actually put on a cuticle oil first, then this balm and I'll have good looking cuticles for the rest of the day. I'm not a big fan of having to jump through hoops to make things work so I probably will not repurchase.

Polishes -Wet 'n' Wild - 424 Black Creme
caleee143 12/21/2010 2:56:00 AM
For .99 this is perfection! Nice true black, great basic polish. You really can't expect much from such a cheap nail polish, in fact we should be happy that we get such a great product for what we pay. It's great on it's own, great to help other polishes recognize their greatness, great for konadicures! Holy Grail!!

Polishes -China Glaze - lemon fizz
caleee143 12/21/2010 2:36:00 AM
What a beautiful color and this is coming from someone who usually sticks with nude shades! This looks especially good with my tan skin. Yes, it was streaky on the first coat but I don't think that you can expect much of any polish in the first coat. Can't wait to use it again!

Polishes -China Glaze - For Audrey
caleee143 12/21/2010 2:27:00 AM
This is a great color to have if you love nail polish. I actually just purchased this today (buy 2 get 1 free?! I'm there!!) and used it tonight for my first konadicure. The color is amazing and fun and I'm glad that I used it tonight. It also looks good on my tan skin. I managed to be extra careful tonight and was able to achieve complete opacity with two coats. I love "Funny Face" better though!

Polishes -Wet 'n' Wild - Wild Shine Nail Color - Night Prowl
caleee143 12/19/2010 6:20:00 PM
At .99 I certainly couldn't pass up another glitter polish but definitely don't assume that this color is OTT because I said glitter. Right now I'm wearing it over ChG evening seduction and it gives it just a little more sparkle and a little more depth. For such a low price I could overlook the messed up brush that came with mine. Love!
