Cleansers -Olay - Regenerist Micro-Purifying Foaming Cleanser

i finished 2 bottles of this, and just bought my 3rd bottles. so enough said, i will surely repurchase this products over and over again. First of all, i love the packaging. It is in a pump bottle instead of tube which is more convenience. And the bottle is lockable. You just have to turn it on the side and the pump will be locked. I had no worry bringing it with me when traveling on plane. It leaves skin soft and did not dry me out at all. A bit on the pricy side for a drugstore product, but surely worth every penny!

Cleansers -Olay - Age Defying Daily Renewal Cleanser
rated 2 of 5

I liked my other Olay products, so I thought why not give this a try since I just needed to add something to reach the free shipping @ drugstore.com. I dont remember the price, but it was like under $5 IIRC. Been using it for about 2 weeks now, and I'm not even sure if it is really a cleanser?! I use this during shower to wash my face and remove makeup. I usually wear mineral MU, which shouldnt be hard to remove with just facial cleanser. Everytime after I used this cleanser, my face was still oily. Did not feel clean at all like with other cleanser. And whats worse, it broke me out =_= I barely get any acne, but with just 2 wks of use and now i got lil acne on my forehead and chin... argggggg >< I think i will just toss my bottle and definitely no repurchase for me.

Blush -Victoria's Secret - Beauty Rush Radiant Blush

Thanks goodness I have came across to this product on MUA sometime last year or I would have missed it since I just visited a VS store few days ago and learn that it been d/ced :[ Anyway, I have this in flutter and fresh love. Fresh love is definitely my fave in ALL of those blushes I have own. It is a beautiful medium coral pink color. Flutter is a color that I usually would not pick up at all, in the package, it is a very bright hot pink color, but when apply on skin, it shows as a rosy flush. These babies are very pigmented, and all you need is just a swipe or two with very light hands. The lasting power is just as good as the color show off. Just so sad why VS gotta d/c this?!

Bronzers -Stila - Loose Mineral Bronzing Powder With 24K Gold
rated 2 of 5
cakie 9/20/2012 6:30:00 PM

i got this for a while, i think i got it in a set with something else together from sephora... but it is still nearly 99% full, except the 1% that i might just have played on my hands. In the jar, it just look brown to me, and on my hands, it pretty much look brown to me still LOL so I really don't know if this color does even work on my face??! I guess this is make for the darker skin girls, definitely not some lighter one like me (nc30) i will probably toss mine away since it been just sitting there...

Masks -Laneige - Water Sleeping Pack
rated 5 of 5

I got a free samples jar when buying a skincare set in xmas when I was in Hong Kong, though for the full price, I would still repurchase it :] I dont use this very often, maybe like once a week or so... usually when I'm on the busy/lazy day, didn't have time for an actual *sheet mask*. Then I would run to this for a quickie night time treatment. My skin isn't dry to begin with, so I won't say there was a HUGE difference when i wake up the next day. Though, my skin does seems more soft, moisturized and smooth.

Mascara -Cover Girl - Professional Waterproof Mascara
rated 5 of 5
cakie 6/11/2012 10:58:00 PM

I got this @ drugstore.com for less than $3. So to me, that is really dirt cheap compare to my MUFE and Dior mascaras. Though I actually love this more than those HE brands. First of all, I have those traditional Asian lashes - thin & short, that you can barely see if I don't use mascara at all LOL Of course, I would LOVE to have mascara that could add volume to my lashes and make them look full like a dolly eye. But usually mascara that add volume will just weight down my lashes right away. But with this mascara, it does NOT add volume, however, it does add length and make my lashes look visible. And best of all, it does not weight down my lashes at all. Once, my friend even thought I had some fake lashes on since it just looked so visible and keep my curl up. As of staying power, I would say not bad. I usually do my makeup at about 6.30am, and i don't see any smudge at all by 4pm when I get off work. Removing it isn't hard neither, you just gotta use oil based eye makeup remover instead of the water based one. Leave the pad with makeup remover on your eye lashes for about 15 sec then wipe and it's gone :]

Primer/ Corrector -Shu Uemura - UV Underbase Mousse SPF 30+
rated 4 of 5
cakie 6/11/2012 10:42:00 PM

Been using this for about 3 weeks ever since the weather started to get hot here in NYC. I love the fact that it has SPF 30, so I feel that my skin is protected from the sun. It is tinted, but it doesn't give much coverage. Instead, it gives me a sheer glow since it does contain little bit of shimmer. It even out my skin tone and brighten my face slightly. What i love the most is it feel very light when on the face. I usually use it with mineral makeup. With other primer, my face will get oily within 2 - 3 hours. With this primer, my face get oily in about 4 hours which i think is pretty good when it is like about 80+ degrees outside. While the package is cute, however I don't like it too much and that's why I take 1 lippie off. It seems like a bit hard to control how much mousse I want to get and always ended up with too much mousse that i actually needed to use.

Sunscreen -Unlisted Brand - Mentholatum Sun PLay SPF 50 Clear Water Sunscreen Lotion
rated 5 of 5
cakie 3/29/2012 7:41:00 AM

Asked my brother to get me few bottles of these when he was visiting from Hong Kong last year. This is a little 1 oz bottle, the sunscreen lotion itself is very runny liquid, not creamy like most of those brands you will find in the US. However, it is very spreadable. I was in Vegas with my mom and bro last summer for 1 week, so I thought I would have to bring 2 bottles with me since it was so tiny. But only half bottle was gone even though we used it daily all over legs and arms. I didnt get any sunburn at all even though it was over 100 degrees everyday. Though I still got tanned somehow. I guess it just protect me from getting sunburn, but not sun tan ehh ^^ I will repurchase more when I finish all of my stocks

Eyeliner -Ulta - automatic eyeliner
rated 2 of 5
cakie 3/29/2012 7:25:00 AM

I needed something cheaper just for daily use for work since i don't have any need to impress anyone there *lol* so i got these based on the reviews here, but they didnt come out too good on me. It is very creamy and just guide on easily. But somehow, even when I had TFSI on, it still smudge badly that just gave me raccoon within 2 hours during the winter time :[ I will still give it 2 lippies just for the price and packaging. But I guess I will just have to stick to UD for now.

Primer/ Corrector -Korres - Quercetin & Oak Antiageing Face Primer
rated 3 of 5
cakie 2/6/2012 11:10:00 AM

I got a big samples of this from Sephora, which actually lasted about a month with almost daily use. I use it in the winter with my mineral makeup. It makes my skin feels pretty smooth and non-greasy. It does not feel heavy on the face at all, not like some other brands. However, it doesn't do much about oil control on my oily skin. Though I do understand, when using mineral makeup, i really cant expect much oil control anyway. With this on, my face start to get oily within about 3 hours, which i think is acceptable. But of course, i do wish i dont have to blot that early :P One down side, it does not help with my easy to get red olive skin. So overall, i probably won't repurchase since it didnt do enough to impress me yet

Treatments (Eye) -Jurlique - Herbal Recovery Eye Cream
rated 4 of 5
cakie 1/26/2012 5:48:00 PM

First of all, i didnt pay a dime for it :P I got two 0.2 oz samples from sephora, which i think will last me a while. So anyway, I been using this for about 3 weeks. So far I didn't notice a big difference, but it does seems to moisture my eyes area and makes the skin soft. I use this every morning before putting makeup on. The smell of it is just heaven like. As of the price, i think it could be a bit pricy for the amount, but since this is an eye creams, so how much do you really need to use on each application seriously? I'm sure the full size 0.5 oz tube will probably last at least 6 months even if you use it day n night everyday. I say i will repurchase but I'm really not too sure. For the result and price, i would repurchase since it does feel good on my skin and i don't think it really cost that much. But by then I might just find something else to try :]

BB Cream -Skinfood - Peach Sake Pore BB Cream SPF20 PA+ (Shade 02)
rated 2 of 5
cakie 1/26/2012 5:37:00 PM

I dont really understand the hype about bb cream, so i just decided to give it a try anyway. Bought this in Korea sometime last year, and it was on sale at the SF store, so the price was dirty cheap. And that's why I would give it 2 lippies, for the price and the packaging. But for the product itself, I certainly dont like it too much. First of all, I didnt know it has 2 shades (as bottom line, I dont read korean) . So I happened to bought the shade 1, but for what I know, BB cream is suppose to blend into your skin color no matter what shade you are as long as you have light skin. But in my NC25 case, it actually made me looked dead that my friend even asked me if i was sick LOL I prefer lighter makeup, so usually i only wear mineral mu which just feel like nothing on my face. But this just feel plain heavy like i'm telling everyone I HAVE MAKEUP ON. It doesn't cover much of the imperfection on my face. In fact, i think it just makes my pores look bigger somehow. Will i buy this again? Certainly not even if i have money to waste *which i dont* I might just as well toss the tube that i have since i dont think i would bother to use it again.

Moisturizers -Olay - Age Defying Anti-Wrinkle Replenishing Night Cream
rated 5 of 5
cakie 9/19/2011 10:45:00 PM

Bought this after reading the reviews here... certainly was not disappointed! Very easy to blend on skin, and the next day when I wake up, my skin feel so soft and have a natural glow. These days I don't wear makeup at all during the day since my skin got so tanned *thank you VEGAS <3* but my friends keep thinking I had makeup on, all because how good this cream makes my skin looks :D The price tag is super friendly compare to the Dior that I normally use. Now i totally don't feel bad to wipe this all over my face and neck lol

Bronzers -Stila - Stila Sun SPF 15 Bronzing Powder - Shade 02
rated 4 of 5
cakie 9/19/2011 10:30:00 PM

Stila's makeup always has good quality IMHO. So this one is no exception. I'm NC25, Shiseido O40, and I bought this in shade 2. It looks rather dark and matt in the pan. But on my skin, it shows up as a natural glow. I use this as a blush instead of contour. I got this in a set with the illuminating finishing powder for $10 at Sephora a while ago. So for the price, it was certainly dirt cheap and I have managed to grab 2 set of it :D I would repurchase if i happen to find it on sale for that cheap again. Though if for $25, then I probably won't repurchase.

Top/Base Coats -Essie - First Base Basecoat
rated 4 of 5
cakie 5/28/2011 12:16:00 AM

Got this since my fave essie protein base coat was d/c, and i was really indeed of a base coat. Nail polish usually never last more than 2 days on me since I have to wear gloves at work all the time. But with this one, plus a top coat... my nail polish could actually last up to 5 days :D YaYa for this product! Will most likely repurchase if I could no longer get the protein base @ eBay :P
