.....reaaaally not my favorite...smudges like crazy and doesn't even look that great to start with....definitely not worth the 7 bucks or whatever

Foundations -Lancome - Photogenic Lumessence Compact Foundation

A makeup artist used this on me when she did my makeup a little while ago, and it was perfect...it made my skin look beautiful and lasted a long time, and it didnt make me break out (I tend to have very sensitive skin!) I dont usually wear foundation, but I had another event coming up so I went to the Lancome counter and got a sample of this to use (it is so nice that they give out sample bottles so that I can use it once or twice without spending so much money on the whole thing!!) and it looked great again on me. I will probably buy the full-size tube soon because it will be worth it :-D

Polishes -New York Color - In a New York Color Minute Quick Dry Nail Polish

These polishes are amazing...I can't believe they cost only $1.99 (the downside of which is that it makes me want to buy every single color they make...) I have Uptown which is like a light purple/pink. When I put it on at first it was kind of streaky and see-through but after 2 coats it became a beautiful solid color. Five days later it is just beginning to chip but the color is still very pretty. I have also tried Times Square at a friend's house and that was very bright and pretty as well. Plus I adore the quick-dry thing because I am very impatient and always manage to smudge my nails before they dry...not this time :-D I'll definitely be buying more of these!!

my new favorite lip gloss!!! This looks amazing, isn't sticky at all, and I love the minty smell and taste!!! I only got one but i will definitely be going back to get more of these :-D

Lip Gloss -Maybelline - Shine Sensational

As a lipgloss junkie, I was a little disappointed by this gloss. I have it in Cherry Kiss and it is ridiculously sticky, tastes weird, and doesn't show up red at all, like it looks in the tube. It just really isn't my favorite which is too bad because I had a high opinion of Maybelline glosses after using the shiny-licious ones...but oh well, they are so cheap it really doesn't matter :-D

I adore this eyeliner!! It is the first cake eyeliner I have ever used so it took some practice to learn how to use, but I figured it out quickly...this stuff goes on so easily and lasts hours without smudging. And I LOVE the color...it's perfect!! This eyeliner is definitely pretty expensive but since so little is used for each application, I think the pan will last quite a long time, so it's worth it. LOVE!!!!

I bought this a while ago because i had heard it recommended from somewhere, but then i was kind of afraid to use it for awhile because I'm not usually a super bright eye makeup girl. So I was kind of feeling bad about having spent the money on it (because it IS quite pricey for a drugstore item) until today. I was wearing a dress that had some bright pink in it, and so i decided to be brave and try the eyeshadow to match. AND I'M SO GLAD I DID!! The pink shows up right away with only a little product, it's not overly sparkly, and it doesn't make me look like i have some kind of disease that makes my eyes pink. It was just really pretty, and I loved the overall look. I am now very good friends with this eyeshadow :-D And I only have to use a tiny bit so it will last me a long time if not FOREVER...totally worth the money. (Love the little sifter in the jar-- stops me from spilling it all over my room haha :-D) The only reason I gave it 4 lippies instead of 5 is that after a few hours the color seemed to have faded a little, so it isn't super long lasting. But overall I think this product is great and I want to try more HIP :-D

steady applications of solar oil are helping me get over my habit of picking at my nails. FINALLY!!!!!!! :-D so yeah... this stuff is amazing :-D and it smells great!!!

YAY I am so happy I finally found a lip gloss that actually isn't unbearably sticky!!! Most of the time when I put on lipgloss, it looks good for like 10 minutes and then just feels way too sticky and gross unless I put lip balm over it. This one surprised me...it's not sticky at all!!! And it smells really good!! And they aren't much money. The color isn't my favorite on me--it's pretty, just not my favorite, but I will definitely be buying other colors of this gloss. YAY!!

OH MY GOODNESS....how do I even start...I HATE, HATE, HATE this mascara!!!! I don't even remember ever having such a strong negative reaction to a product, EVER. I got it after reading some good reviews but mostly because a lot of my friends have it and love it. So I don't know, maybe the one I got just happened to be old or bad or whatever, but I do not know why anyone would like this product. The first thing that assaulted me when I opened the (admittedly very cute) packaging was the smell......it was HORRIBLE!!! It actually turns my stomach just to think about it now. I was confused...but decided to try the mascara anyway...the smell should have been a warning sign to me. The mascara was clumpy and hard to get on most of the lashes. The stupid little brush actually hurt my lashes. As I put on a few coats, my lashes clumped into stubborn little groups and refused to come apart, almost like they were banding together to protest this mascara....And the smell stayed with me for the maybe 10 minutes I stuck with the mascara before washing it off. I just couldnt take it anymore!! And it hurt to wash off because my lashes were like glued into their little clumps. I could almost hear them sigh in relief once it was gone. and yet....I CAN STILL SMELL IT!!! I really want to like this, because the packaging is cute and I've heard great things about it, but as you can probably tell, I REALLY, REALLY DON'T.

Mascara -Maybelline - Full 'N Soft Mascara

I think this will be my new daily mascara...it does tend to clump when I put it on but I can smooth it out with little effort. But what I really like is that it looks and feels really natural....when I first put it on, I was unimpressed because I'm used to a somewhat more dramatic look, but then I realized it does a good job without being obvious at all. Plus it's not a lot of money so I definitely think it's worth it!
