Eye Primer -NYX - HD High Definition Eyeshadow Base

Since I love to do my eye makeup so much, I thought it is about time to try out an eye primer that makes my eye shadows stay on my lids all day long and not crease, smear or smudge. Well, this one was a big winner, because it helped me with all those eye shadow problems. The texture is almost like a liquid concealer and the color is sheer nude, I would say, so since my skin tone is fair, it looks like I have nothing on my eye lids when applying it. Pros: -won't crease -won't smudge -eye shadow colors are more intense than without it, actually more the way they should be -very cheap, I got it for $7 at drugstore.com -lots of compliments on my eye makeup : ) -removing eye makeup at night is no problem Cons: -It doesn't dry that quickly, so I do something else on my face for 2 minutes, on the other side, there are too many pros that this is just not a problem anymore. I wish I could have bought this years ago. Eye makeup is just so much better with a primer, I just had no idea.
I've had two EL eye shadow brushes for 13 years now. Yes, 13 years. They came in an EL gift box with all kinds of other goodies like lipsticks and eye shadows. Anyways, to get to the point. They just last a life time and the quality is amazing. The bristles are very soft and blending with them is no problem at all. It is very easy to control them if you are a starter and not a pro in the eye makeup application. I love them and think it's great how long they've lasted and still do!
I am very satisfied with this lotion. I paid only $7 for it and the bottle is quite big. The consistency is more watery, but I kinda like that because I find creams are harder to blend. The way I apply it is, I smooth this all over my body and especially massaging the areas where I feel I need more firmness. It doesn't absorb that quickly. It takes about 30 minutes, but then I get super soft skin that's tighter than before. I find it quite moisturizing for a rather watery firming lotion, which to me is another plus. I can definitely see that my skin is much firmer with this lotion and I will continue using it daily, because that seems to really show the difference. Great product, and I wish I could have discovered this sooner.
Liquid -Boots - Botanics Virtually Weightless Color Adjusting Foundation

Based on the good reviews of this foundation and the search for a Giorgio Armani face fabric copy, I gave this a try. The lasting power is horrible. It doesn't blend at all, just sits on my skin and t-zone is a shiny mess. I wanted to like it so much because for 8 Dollars this could have been such a bargain, but unfortunately it is not quite comparable to the GA face fabric foundation. So, I returned it.
Just bought this today and I am very pleased with it. I really love the glitter in it - it has lots of pink, purple, and blue glitter. I really love a full coverage on my nails, so I put on three coats of this nail polish. The first one was way too sheer, on the second coat I rather dabbed the product on my nails, and I think that was a good idea, because with this technique my nails got completely covered with the glitter. Then on my third coat I both dabbed and glided the brush on my nails. I also waited 30 minutes between each coat. So now my nails look exactly like the color you see in the bottle. Beautiful! Also, if you want to just add a bit of glitter over a colored nail polish, I am sure this would look great.
This is the first hair foam that I've ever bought. I have lots of fine hair and sometimes it can get limp and flat, so after I had some hairdressers put hair foam in my hair, I saw what a big difference it can make. One day I decided to go into the Regis salon and ask which hair foam is best for really giving my hair a lot of lift, and the sales person told me that the Root Booster is their best. I bought it and I love it. I am on my second container now, which lasts me about 6 months. This is the way I use it: After washing my hair with a moisturizing shampoo and a repairing conditioner I rub this foam all over my scalp where the roots are, then I comb it and start blow drying it. Done! Some other great things about it are: >The price - I bought it for about $10 >The smell - It smells fresh and it is not too strong >The ease of application >It is very lightweight and makes my hair way less greasy. Which is a big PLUS to me. This product works great and I can't think of anything bad about it.
After I saw this palette being used by a make-up tutorial girl on you tube, I absolutely fell in love with this palette and ordered it. I am so glad I did, because EVERYTHING about this palette is amazing. Plus, this is perfect for the spring/summer season. It comes with: 11 eye shadows, 1 blush, 1 highlighter, and a 2 in 1 eye pencil, so 2 eye pencils. It also includes a booklet that shows you how to create different looks with these e/s. Now I am not sure if the booklet is included if you buy it from a store, but it is definitely included if you buy it from Sigmabeauty.com. At least that's how I did it. The e/s are pigmented, blendable and buildable. They stay on all day long without smudging or creasing. I have actually never ever gotten sooooo many compliments on my eye makeup. I think that booklet really helps in this case. The blush is also very blendable and gives you that warm fresh glow on your face. The highlighter is a liquid one and golden pigmented. I like to apply it on the cheek bones and sometimes the brow bones. That is also the way they suggest you do it in the booklet. The eye pencils are a 2 in 1. So on one end you have a brown shade and on the other end you have a bluish turquoise shade. They are both very creamy, pigmented and blendable. The price is $42, but I also had to pay an extra $9 for shipping. I got my package pretty fast and they also included a gift for me which is a small little palette that includes 3 eye shadows. So I got a total of 14 eye shadows! This was probably one of the best purchases I've ever made. I am extremely happy with this purchase.
Self Tanners -Unlisted Brand - Malibu - Hemp Golden Glow Bronzing Moisturizer

We all have a yellow tanned skin, yellow tanned skin, yellow tanned skin....la la la .....la la Sorry for the silly start of my review, but I think now you know about how this lotion worked on me :) This was my first try with self tanner. I am very pale, probably MAC N20 or N15, and I wanted to get a little bit of color before the beach season starts. So, I don't want to put this lotion totally down. - The price is great - $5 from Walmart - Package is perfect, it comes in a bottle with a pump - It smells good and delicious like coconut - It doesn't leave any streaks What I don't like though is: - the color, it turned me yellow which is not very sexy from my point of view - itchy skin with a few rashes - dry lizard skin Well, it might work on some people, but for me the color of it was just not good. It only looked good on my legs, but that's about it. I will return it and never buy it again.
Liquid -Estee Lauder - Double Wear LIGHT Foundation SPF10

I am so sad. While I'm on the lookout for a cheaper foundation than the Giorgio Armani one (which I love, but it is so pricy), I decided to give this one a try. My first impression of this was "WOW, this looks so beautiful and perfect on my skin, I love it". Then, next morning, I found those breakouts on my forehead, and my thought was "NO, why? It all started so perfect and pretty, why this?" So now I am really upset that this foundation gives me breakouts. Estee Lauder, what are you putting in there that gives me those breakouts? Please stop! And don't tell me on your website that it is non-acnegenic. What a lie!
A couple of days ago when I went to Macys, I saw this EL foundation and I really liked the fact that they have it for each skin tone. I got a sample of it in shade 1N1 Nude, since my skin color is light and the undertone natural. The color is perfect for me, unfortunately right after I wore this for a day and removed my make-up at the end of the day, I saw those breakouts on my forehead and on the cheeks next to my nose. I was so sad to realize that it is this foundation that broke me out. I really like the way it covers and I wanted to like it so much! So I read a couple reviews about this product and see now that this foundation used to be much better before, and that now they changed the formula. I am sorry to hear that, because I know how it is to have the perfect product that works great for you and then it is changed into something that doesn't do its job anymore. Now what I will do is stay with my Giorgio Armani foundation, even though I dislike paying 49$ dollars for it, but at least it does a good job and doesn't break me out.
Mascara -Maybelline - Volum' Express Colossal Cat Eyes
bunnypie 2/16/2013 8:49:00 AM
I love this mascara. It actually does deliver cat eyes to me. It depends on how you apply it. I always bend my lashes with the brush when I apply it, and keep them bent for 15 seconds. It works good on my lashes. Then I also do that with the outer corner of my lashes. I like the lasting power of this. My lashes look good throughout the day and it doesn't flake. The package is also great, it's the only thing in my makeup box that's easy to find : ) I will definitely repurchase this.
I have fine, straight, flat hair. I wanted volume, lift and manageability. Unfortunately what I got from this shampoo was dry, stiff, frizzy hair. I don't believe this shampoo does any good to your hair. I found it very damaging and all it seemed to do is strip out the moisture out of my hair. So I returned it back to Dellaria and got store credit for it.
When I saw the ad for this mascara I thought I really have to have it. It promises doll lashes, which means, long, voluminous, lifted, parted, perfect lashes. So I went to Sephora's Lancome aisle to get the doll lash mascara. There was a very nice sales associate who told me that I can try it on. I said no thanks, it'll be fine. He also said I can return it if I don't like it. - He must have known something. - So I bought it and tried it on. It was nothing like in the advertisement. My lashes were NOT voluminous, NOT lifted, NOT parted. After using this mascara for four days I noticed it started to flake. All I got was heavy feeling fly legs lashes with crumbles underneath my eyes. All of this for $26!!! I tried applying it in so many different ways without any good results. I returned it at Sephora, and another nice sales associate gave me 3 sample mascaras to try on. At least one good experience out of it. So much about this mascara. Don't spend your money on this one, because it is definitely not what it says.
What brought my attention to this color is the fact that it is purple but has a wonderful blue shine. I love this color so much. It is like I can't stop looking at it. When I applied the first coat I thought it was way to sheer, then I applied the second coat which was better but still to sheer. Finally the third coat covered my nail and the color on the nails looked just like the color in the bottle. So if you want to achieve the whole coverage then do 3 coats. I always wait 30 minutes between each coat. I know, it is not a time saver but I found out that is the best way.
Why I bought this green is because I wanted a bright green nail polish that shows and looks great not cheap or pale. The things I like about it: - easy application - dries fast ( I always wait 30 minutes and then apply the second coat ) - no streaks - full coverage with second coat - lasts one week - beautiful, bright and shiny color - very cheap, I just paid $1.99 at rite aid - matches my pale neutral undertone skin and I am sure lots of other skin tones I can't think of anything I don't like about it. That was a great buy and the quality is just as good as a Chanel nail polish.
