Lip Treatments -Nivea - Lip Care - Q10
bunnychick 8/7/2010 1:48:00 AM
I received this in a beauty goodie bag that my mom sends each year. I live in the desert and travel and do outdoor activities quite often; lip balm is a necessity. One the plus side, the product does contain SPF. This product comes in an opaque, slant tipped squeeze tube. It is thin and I have not noticed a discernable fragrance or flavor. The lasting power never seems to go beyond and hour, especially when drinking, talking, or eating. However, in a pinch it gets the job done for immediate need, but it seems like my lips are drier overall since using this product regularly. This is an adequate product, but I think there's better lip treatments out there for the same price or less.

Misc Beauty Tools -Sonia Kashuk - Blending Sponge
bunnychick 11/16/2008 3:57:00 AM
I too worship at the Church of Blue Peep. I LOVE this sponge so much and it is great for when I am too lazy to break out my MAC 187 (or the Don King as we call it). Despite the recommendations, I prefer to use this sponge dry. I mostly use it with MAC HyperReal, which I need all the help I can get to blend. This sponge does the trick. It's easy to grip, has a wonderful point to blend around crease and small areas, and leaves me with a flawless finish. I also like to use the tip to clean up edges of my eyeshadow, under eye makeup, and highlighting my lipline The price is cheap compared to similar items on the market. Super highly recommend.

Cleansers -LUSH - Ultrabland

I received a generous sample of this product. I was excited to try this because I have had a hard time finding anything that would totally remove my mascara and I love most Lush products. The first few times I used it, I hated it. It felt too thick and greasy, and it was hard to remove. It did take off all of my eye makeup. I have since learned to use this more sparingly and I now absolutely adore it. It removes everything. I like it almost as much as the MAC Cleansing Oil. There is no stinging or irritation to my eyes. If I use this to remove face makeup, I do use a mild wash afterwards (usually WalMart's Cetaphil clone).

Moisturizers -DERMAdoctor - wrinkle Revenge face
bunnychick 9/20/2008 8:28:00 PM
I just moved to Nevada from Florida and needed to change up my skincare routine. The dry environment made lines more visible. This product was suggested to me by a Sephora salesperson. I use it nightly and on some days (if I am not leaving the house since it has no SPF 15). I have seen a vast improvement in my skin clarity, tone, and tightness. It also seems to keep breakouts at bay for me since my skin was unsure what to do after going from 100% humidity to almost nothing. I really like this product and have already recommended it to others. If you are hesistant or curious, and have a Sephora nearby, ask for a sample!

Lip Gloss -Bonne Bell - Jell-O Lip Smackers
bunnychick 12/15/2007 10:51:00 AM
I purchased the Strawberry-Kiwi Jell-o Lipsmaker. It does have a jello-like transparency in the tube (this shade looks like a sheer red), and I was hoping that it would be a sheer color. It goes on with absolutely no color at all. The flavor is ok, but doesn't last more than 30 seconds. This product has a mildly waxy consistency and tends to "gunk up" if you rub your lips togehter. I am debating whether I should throw it in the trash, or use it to moisturize my cuticles. Thankfully, I only paid .94 for this.

Skincare - Face -Caudalie - Contour Cream Eyes and Lips
bunnychick 11/18/2007 10:01:00 PM
I received a generous sample of this product which I used while I was vacationing in a drier climate. It was a very rich cream that worked well under makeup. It moisturized very well. I usually use Ponds Age DefEYE, and do not plan to make a switch. I did enjoy using this product, but the price point is the killer for me, since I get the same results from the Ponds product.

Bath Treatments -LUSH - Butterball Bath Bomb
bunnychick 11/18/2007 9:53:00 PM
I just tried this one for the first time today. This little guy packs a soft, sweet (but not overpowering), buttery scent and is a great moisturizer. I am a Lush veteran, but would definetly recommend this bath bomb as a good starting point for those who want to try or are new to Lush bath bombs. Left my skin feeling soft, and the scent has stayed with me for hours.

Bath Treatments -LUSH - Black Pearl
bunnychick 11/18/2007 9:50:00 PM
I have repurchased twice, though with hesitation. I will not go back for a third time. I LOVE the smell of this product... a great spicy scent. HATE the ring of glitter and gray that it leaves around my tub and on my skin (I have a dry patch that this stuff loves to attach itself too). Reducing the amount used didn't help.

Eyeliner -Revlon - Colorstay Eyeliner

Wears like iron. Lots of great shades. Did not last long on the water-line for me, but this product is not necessarily made for that, so I am not upset about this. Great drugstore product.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Shroom
bunnychick 10/7/2007 11:27:00 PM
I am a C2/NC20. This is a nice, light-warm neutral on me. I can wear either warm or cool tones, and I use Shroom as the higlight or blend-out shade for warm looks.

Eye Shadow -Milani - Flare
bunnychick 8/11/2007 11:24:00 AM
Richly pigmented, long-wearing copper. Almost feels like a MAC Veluxe Pearl texture and is a ringer for MAC Coppering. Love Milani shadows and highly recommend them. (I do wear UDPP or MK primer under ALL of my shadows).

Makeup Brushes -Flirt - Feather Dust-her (aka Skunk Brush)
bunnychick 8/11/2007 11:13:00 AM
A less costly version of the much beloved MAC 187. I bought this one first, and was fairly happy with it. Once I used the MAC 187, I found there was no comparison for use with emollient prodcuts. The Flirt brush is much less dense and feels a little weak compared to the 187. The Flirt brush is OK for the money.

Makeup Brushes -Essence of Beauty - Crease
bunnychick 8/11/2007 11:10:00 AM
Excellent value and quality. The set that I purchased had two brushes in a self-contained package. One brush is slightly larger that the other in the width/size of the bristles. These brushes give super control, blend precisely, and I have not had a problem with shedding. It is not quite the MAC 224 (my all time favorite), but definelty an brush worth trying.

Excellent, dense and soft brush. I have the BE Kabuki and much prefer this one. Great for the price. Would highly recommend this brush no matter your beauty budget.

Eyes -Caboodles - Glitter EyeGloss
bunnychick 8/11/2007 11:01:00 AM
Greasy glittery mess that is total yuck after the first use. Would not use on lids. You are better off getting a fixative like MAC's mixing medium to apply glitter.
