This is one of the best eye makeup removers I have ever used. I currently use the Neutrogena one which is also great (just like Lancome's Bi-ficils). This is definately less oilier than the Neutrogena one. However I don't have a problem with the oiliness since I wash my face afterwards. Retails for $5 USD. This is an excellent deal- I will alternate with this and the Neutrogena one.

Eyes -MAC - Sublime Nature Paint
rated 3 of 5

This is almost identical to their Margrittes paint- this is a light brownish gold. On my eyes it shows up as a light brown- so I would describe this as a very bland color. This is part of their new paints collection and I am not sure whether this is limited edition.

This is part of their new paints collection. This is a very pretty but bland light brownish gold. It doesn't do much for me. I was expecting this to come up a little more gold, but this looked like a light brown on my eyes (brown eyes). Although I love their paints, I was not particularly impressed by this color.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Canton Candy Paint
rated 5 of 5

This is a beautiful color! It's a pretty bright pink cotten candy color with a metalic finish. As with all of their Paints, this makes an excellent eyeshadow primer. This isn't the kind of pink that makes you look sickly- rather this is just a vibrant pink that just adds a kick.

Highlighters -Chanel - Poudre Coromandel
rated 4 of 5
bunny207 9/9/2005 3:06:00 PM

This is a limited edition highlighter that is sold out in most stores. This highlighter is almost idential to the one they released last year called Satin de Chanel in Golden Dream. It is a super soft pink with a suble gold sheen. On the skin, this barely shows up at all but subtly creates a soft highlighting effect. If you like very prominent and noticable highlighters this isn't for you. This is so natural that I can even wear this during the day! Retails for $50 USD.

Blush -Cargo - Rome
rated 5 of 5

Rome is almost idential to MAC's Style blush- a coral, peachy tangerine laced with gold. Simply beautiful! Cargo is very generous with its size! Overall, a great blush that is silky and smooth.

Blush -MAC - Mineralize Skinfinish - Porcelain Pink
rated 4 of 5

This is a beautiful pink with a very slight peachy undertone with flecks of gold. On, this creates a beautiful highlighting effect. The flects of gold are noticable so this doesn't create a flawless sheen, but rather creates a semi-dramatic highlighting effect. This and their other Mineralize Skinfinishes are my favorite highlighters!

This is a slightly darker and more metalic version of Anti-establishment. This is a beautiful dark silver and is part of their new Lustre eyeshadows. The quality is very silky and smooth. This is great for the smokey eye look! I am not sure whether this is limited edition or not.

This is a beautiful dark silver that isn't took metalic, but has a nice sheen. The texture is super smooth and stays put all day. A wonderful dark silver.

Moisturizers -Shiseido - Benefiance Revitalizing Cream
rated 3 of 5
bunny207 9/9/2005 2:41:00 PM

This is just a mediocre product. I have very dry skin and thought that I could use this as my day cream (with their sunscreen spf 55 on top, since this contains no sunscreen). This is very greasy and doesn't really absorb that well. It kind of felt heavy on the skin. Although this did moisturize my dry skin, this felt just gross. Back to Clarins Gentle Day Cream for me! Retails for $45 USD.

Cleansers -Clarins - Extra-Comfort Cleansing Cream
rated 5 of 5
bunny207 9/9/2005 2:37:00 PM

I am in love with this! I have really, really dry skin and most cleansers really dry me out! This looks like cold cream in the pot, but when you put this on the skin, it just melts into the skin. I don't use the method proscribed in the pamplet, namely the suction method since I don't think that is really helps with anything. I must slather this on, and rise it away (no tissuing off like with cold cream). Then I follow up with their toner! Perfect! My only complaint is that this comes in a huge tuge and wish this came in a flip top container. Also, this is not to be used as a substitution for a makeup remover- this doesn't really remove makeup or sunscreen (I use Shu's cleansing oil for that). This is really just a secondary cleanser for those with dry or sensitve skin that wants to use more of a moisturing cleanser. So, this is really just a luxury product, rather than an essential product. Also, this is super expensive- 7oz for $40 USD!

Gels/Soaps -Philosophy - Apple 3-in-1
rated 5 of 5
bunny207 9/9/2005 2:32:00 PM

I love philosophy's 3-1! You can use them as a shampoo, body wash, and bubble bath. Apple actually smells like real apples (not that artificial, fake apple). This also has a red tint of a red apple! This is one of my favorite 3-1! I love this! Retails for $16 USD.

Moisturizers -Shiseido - Bio-Performance Advanced Super Revitalizer

Personally, I don't know what all the hype is concerning this product and why this is always featured in magazines as their top picks for skin care. I have really dry skin and this was recommended by a SA that this contains a high percentage of hyaluronic acid (which retains moisture in the skin). After using this for a week, I have to say that this was not moisturing enough for my skin. This cream has a gel-like texture which I didn't care for. Also, although this did leave my face feeling some-what silky, I found it to be a little sticky. Overall, I would reccomend this cream for anyone except those with truly dry skin. Otherwise, this would be a fab cream.

Cleansers -Shiseido - Benefiance Creamy Cleansing Foam
rated 5 of 5
bunny207 9/9/2005 2:24:00 PM

This is one of my favorite foaming cleaners- I love the feeling of a foaming cleanser because it gives me the feeling that my skin is truly clean. But, unfortunately, because I have extremely dry skin I normally can't use most foaming cleansers. But this is one exception- it doesn't make my face feel taut after using it, and it gives a rich, creamy foam. Most importantly, this doesn't leave any weird film on the skin and this rinses away clean. I would recommend this for anyone (except those with truly oily skin). Excellent! Retails for $31 USD.

Sunscreen -Shiseido - Ultimate Sun Protection Cream SPF 55 PA+++ [DISCONTINUED]
rated 5 of 5
bunny207 9/9/2005 2:21:00 PM

Shiseido makes the best sunscreens around. I have tried their spf 55 lotion and cream, their spf 36 cream, and their spf 33 lotion. Because I have very dry skin, I cannot use the spf 55 lotion since it is too drying and is too matter. The spf 33 lotion dries down less matte and is less drying that the spf 55 lotion but still is a little more drying than the creams. Surprisingly, the spf 36 and 55 creams are not that much more moisturizing than the spf 33 lotion- the creams dry down matte and is still drying for my skin (even with moisturizer underneath). Also, I have found the spf 36 and 55 creams to be comparable in terms of drying and matteness, so that is why I stick with the spf 55 cream (more protection). These days I ususally use the spf 55 cream. Shiseido's sunscreens don't leave a white cast and doesn't feel too heavy on the skin. Remember though- because all are waterproof, you must use an oil-based cleanser to wash it off (I use Shu's). This is a wonderful product!
