It's fine, but I prefer the Desert Essence brand TJ's used to sell. I have been using DE jojoba oil on my face for the last 6ish years and love it. My face is moisturized and never greasy. The TJ's brand seems to be just as good, but it has a light natural scent that the DE brand never had (DE was nearly scentless). The light smell is reminiscent of sesame. A delicious smell but I prefer not to smell that right after washing my face. I guess I'll have to go to Whole Foods or buy online to get my scentless DE oil.

Cleansers -Carley's Clear & Smooth - Soap

GREAT STUFF. I got it free with the cleanser. The thing is so huge, I cut it with a knife into thirds. I gave one to my friend and one to my cousin. I'm undecided about the cleanser, but I think I will be reordering this soap. It lathers great and seems like it would last a long time. It has a very slight smell - very natural - oatmeal like. My skin feels very clean, but not too dry. Does not irritate my skin at all.

I've been using it for 2 weeks or so. So far, not bad. The brown specks feel a bit on the rough side, but my skin isn't complaining. I haven't yet got a new pimple (though I see one coming on). I think the exfoliation is clearing up the bumps on my forehead (millia), which for me has been tough to get rid of. Since I haven't been using it too long, I will update in a month or so. FYI - I use this stuff in the shower, because it is runny. I soap (with their great soap) before and after the cleanser.

Mascara -Neutrogena - Weightless Volume Mascara

I like the natural look. It's really unlike other mascaras. It's not sticky and kind of forms a solid on your lashes. You can get longer lashes with these if you add several coats. The trick is do one coat on one eye and then go the other eye and come back to the other eye. I get much better results by letting the coats set before adding more. I just love how its not sticky. For me sticky = racoon eyes. If you touch it too much it will flake, which is easier to clean up than racoon eyes.

Moisturizers -Shiseido - The Skincare Night Essential Moisturizer

I just got a sample pack. It did not soak in right away, but when I woke up in the morning my cheeks felt more moisturized than I have ever felt them. My T-zone though was pretty oily. I did put this product on pretty heavily, so that may have something to do with the oiliness.
I really liked it, but it's kind of expensive, so I'll hold off on buying it. I want to try some oil free moisturizers.

Works great! I'm seeing improvement in my skin. I have been using it for only a week. The bumps on my skin near the hairline (acne?) are nearly gone. My skin is definitely smoother and softer. Smells funny- probably the witch hazel and aloe.
I have some chemistry background and I looked at acetylsalicyclic acid's (aspirin) chemical properties. Its solubility in water is 100mg per 100mL of solution at room temperature. One tablet (Walgreen's) has 325mg of aspirin. 100mL of water is a bit over 3oz. So technically, you need only 1 tablet for 3oz of water. The rest of the aspirin will not dissolve unless you warm up the solution before using it. The rest of the aspirin will probably settle at the bottom. Shaking before use will dissolve a bit more aspirin, but not much. If you warm it up and cool it to room temperature, the extra aspirin will come out of the solution (crystallize).
Also note aspirin tablets have other ingredients like starch as filler(some tablets have talc, so take a look at your tablets before buying). The white stuff at the bottom is probably composed of these extra ingredients and undissolved aspirin.
I put in 2 tablets and it worked as good as 10.
Its not about saving money. I don't like the white chunks and filtering is a mess. If you put in 40 and filter out and throw away the chunks, you're throwing away ~38-39 tablets. If you like the aspirin mask, you should save those tablets for that.

It is true that this product can emphasize dry skin and pores. I found mixing it with a thick cream moisturizer prevents this. I just adjust the foundation to cream ratio. It is extremely versatile...it can be sheer and it can also provide great coverage. The cream I use is Nivea Creme (read reviews on it). Some say the cream is too oily for the face. I don't find it oily or greasy, though it is kind of waxy. The consistancy is PERFECT for mixing with the foundation. Don't try to mix the foundation with something like Olay complete, because the consistancies are too different. They won't mix! I think the price isn't too bad considering how little you need (very pigment concentrated) and how versatile it is. Plus, the little pot is great for travel. It's perfect for people who like coverage, but don't like having thick layers of makeup on their skin. It's also perfect for people who need more coverage in some areas of their face, but sheerer coverage in other areas.
