BB Cream -MISSHA - M Signature Real Complete B.B. Cream SPF 25 PA++

I have several 1mL samples of these, so I can't really judge the packaging quality or the price. :) Pros - smoothing, spf, little goes a long way Cons - color match (and therefore coverage), minor breakouts The BEST thing about this stuff is the smoothing effect from the silicones. It's like someone used a soft focus instagram filter on me except it's REAL LIFE. The worst thing is that it causes little break outs on my face. :( They aren't full-on pimples, but they are bumps, and my skin is usually clear so that's a bummer. I got this in #23. I'm a suntanned NC30+ Asian. #23 is cooler than my tanned skin, but it's a REALLY good match for my winter skin (which my mom describes as 'ashy'...so Idk how I feel about that). That said, a little goes a long way, so I just mix it with a good amount of my moisturizer. That way it doesn't affect my skintone, but still has the smoothing effect. The bummer about that is if you have blemishes, then it won't cover them. :P Anyway, I REALLY like the product, but I don't get the hype. It's supposed to do all of these things like make your skin better and conceal and soften and blah blah blah, but for me, the only benefit is the smoothing of the silicones. While definitely awesome, not novel. HOWEVER, because it causes my skin to break out, I will not be re-buying it. My skin is relatively clear to begin with so it's not worth it.

Moisturizers -Biore - Nourish Moisture Lotion SPF 15

My skin goes through all sorts of changes depending on the season, and this moisturizer works best when it is normal/combination. When my skin is dry, it doesn't seem like it's enough, and when my skin is oily, it's wayyyy too much. The texture is very smooth, no chalkiness to it. I find it that it applies well and sinks in quickly. The fragrance is mild.

I used to like it a lot, but now I think it is very harsh. It definitely makes my skin very very soft but I don't rubbing it onto my face at all--I've been mixing it with my cleanser (which is a gel). It's a shame because it works well, but it feels like it's scratching me.

Dude, this shit is AMAZING. Me: Thick Asian hair that holds neither volume nor curls. Me + Lottabody diluted (1:4? I don't remember): Curls that last for days. Curls that I can't brush out. This stuff turns my hair into some kinda curl-holding mutant. It's MAGIC. Stuff lasts until I wash my hair again. So HG.

Lipstick -MAC - Odyssey

I got this in a swap. It was just so...different. I have light/medium ("golden") skin that tans easily. It is a very pigmented purple berry color, and I think it works on both warm and cool tones (but definitely better if your skin is darker). I have not experienced MAC before, but this glides on well. Overall, I really really like it. It is definitely not an everyday color, but fun if you are younger, or if you are going out for a night on the town.

YES. HG. you useIf light hand and you will have a gorgeous natural-looking flush that comes out a pinky-coral on my skin (for reference, I'm Asian, NC30~35). The blush is super-pigmented, there's a ton of it, and the packaging is pretty. Dirt cheap for the quality, imo (also because I got it via Hautelook). I've had this for a year and a half at this point. It still looks barely used. This was also nice during the summer when I was NC40+. It made my cheeks a little bumpy in the summertime, so if you have sensitive skin/will be somewhere hot&humid, you might want to be careful. I couldn't keep myself from wearing it anyway. :P My skin has calmed since then, and my cheeks are fine, so no more bumps!

I didn't get around to buying myself face wash for about a week, and I took the opportunity to test this (belongs to my roommate). I have normal/combination skin. This is a good cleanser, but did leave my face feeling dry....my HG is an oil-based cleanser, and I'm going to stick to that. This probably works well if you had oily skin. Besides the dry/tight feeling, it definitely did the job.

I bought this as my winter cleanser as my skin is usually oily but in the wintertime is dry/combination. It is amazing. I haven't had any big breakouts since getting it. It doesn't dry out my skin, but makes it feel clean. Like others have said, spread it on dry with slightly wet fingers, rub it in, and rub it off with a warm washcloth or face puff. SO SOFT. Don't get it in your eyes. It is acidic (oranges). Anyway, I love this. It is my HG, and I will update my opinion as I am going to try and use it for the summertime as well. :) UPDATE: NOT good for oily skin - too moisturizing. I guess I'll put it away for the summer. :(

Ooooh, yes. This is lovely. A tinge blue, but I'm Asian, so it balanced the yellowness in my skin (and I'm light/med, tho I'm prob NC40-sth now because of summer).....I'd say even though it's a little bit cool, I think it's acceptable for all skin tones. Applied best with a lip brush, but now I have to buy a matching lip liner so that it doesn't feather!! Definitely worth it for the price--was looking for a drugstore red. Highly pigmented, creamy (no shimmer! yay!), gorgeous. Cannot wait to wear it out!

Totally works for me, but needs to be done more than once to really get the results you want. Finish a few tiny hairs off with your razor and boom. Doesn't smell great. Totally lasts a long time for me, prob. has something to do with the amount of hair etc that someone has. Also doesn't burn me.

Lip Gloss -Lancome - Juicy tubes in Spring fling

Feels very luscious on the lips. My lips are already a medium pink, so no color shows up. But my lips just look so glossy and kissy. Nice smell and flavor. I have a sample size, but I always find myself using it..and I don't usually use lip gloss! :) A little bit sticky, but a little bit of this stuff goes a long way.

I like this. From a different angle, appears brown in the pan. Goes on gray, def. has a little bit of brown though. Shimmery, very nice. Pigmentation isn't really there, imo, so it's a good neutral color. If used wet, it's more pigmented for a more intense eye look. I like this color a lot. :)

Why is the tube so longgggggg? Besides that, yes. Tastes yummy. My lips are pigmented so I don't see as much difference using this, but it seems to enhance the natural color of my lips..makes them seem a bit pinker, which is nice. The shimmer is not overpowering at all, just enough so that everyone knows that you're wearing a shiny gloss. The consistency is also not sticky at all. Staying power is good as long as you don't eat or kiss anything...

YES. It seems like the brightest coral-orange ever in the pan, but use a light hand and you will have a gorgeous natural-looking flush that comes out a pinky-coral on my skin (for reference, I'm Asian, NC30~35). Got this via a HauteLook sale. Very pricy at full price ($40). but the pan is hugeeeeeeeeeeee and it's super pigmented! Gorgeous packaging. I adore this. UPDATE So I've had this for like 6 months now and there's seriously barely a dent... I'm also up in the NC40s now and it looks SO GOOD WHEN YOU'RE TAN. I have a little flush to my cheeks naturally but it sort of disappears when I get darker and this brings it back, nice and pretty. I had to take a lip off though, this makes my cheeks break out. Not that bad--just bumpy, not sure if it's the blush + hot, humid weather or just the blush itself. It's annoying at worst, and I adore the color, so I still wear this...

Does what it is supposed to. Pores look smaller and rids my face of oil, though my face does feel dry and tight afterwards, and my skin is oily/acne-prone. It also diminishes the appearance of acne, though it does not clear my face. Even though my face feels dry directly afterwards, the feeling does not last, so I feel this is gentle enough to use twice a day (morning and night). I'm not a fan of the beads..they don't appear to do much..I'd feel as if it were doing more if the beads were smaller and more abrasive, but my skin is still noticably smoother. Don't like the packaging though. How am I supposed to get the rest out if it's a squeezie thing?
