I have been using this foundation for years. I have acne-prone, oily skin WITH dry patches. I have acne scars, big pores and redness. Lucky me! But, this foundation is perfect for my skin. I apply it right after my moisturizer so it goes on smoothly. If I need a little extra coverage over a blemish, this stuff does the trick. The lack of a pump has never bothered me. To apply, I first shake the bottle with the lid on. Then, I take the lid off and place my middle finger over the opening while turning the bottle upside down. Using my finger, I start applying and blending. The best part is that this foundation stays on ALL DAY! I never have to worry about it disappearing and leaving me hanging in the middle of a busy workday. I've tried other foundations before and they all disappoint in their staying power. I don't have time to baby my face during the day so this is the perfect foundation for me. Typically in the winter I wear Buff and in the summer I bump up to Sand Beige. I try to purchase this at Walgreens when they have them on sale for B1G1 50% off.
I have been an occasional lurker on MakeupAlley but had to register to leave my very first review on the Seche Vite top coat. As a working mom of two small children, my beauty routines have to be quick and easy. So, for years, I've gone without painting my nails because I can't afford professional manicures and doing it at home only left me frustrated because of the time it took to dry...and then the frustration of all that hard work being ruined because I had to wipe someone's tush or fold a load of laundry. Well, no more!!! This stuff has made me so happy. I can have pretty nails...even nail art nails again! My latest DIY was the manicure the Robin's Egg look. Two coats of polish, one coat of glitter polish and topped off with Seche Vite while still wet. From start to finish? Less than one hour and I was able to fold laundry. Awesomeness!!! Love me some Seche Vite top coat. :)
