Blehh!! This is not a good product for me =/ I was wanting to try this foundation for a while and about a month ago I finally gave in and bought it. I got it for $45 at Macy's in the color warm sand. The color matched perfectly but that's about the only thing I liked about it. The MA told me that this foundation was light- medium coverage, but she lied! To me it's definately more full coverage, which isn't what I like. Anyways, after purchasing I went home and tried it out. Too thick!! It's very hard to blend into the skin. After playing around with the application technique I finally got it to look pretty good. I used my fingers to apply, for me it was the best way to sheer the product out a bit. I liked the way it was looking at first but within a few hours I went and checked how it was doing and I looked horrible :[ my face looked like a greaseball, the product sunk into my pores and was sliding off my face. I used a setting powder on top of it the next day and still the same thing. A mess on my face. The third day of using this I used a primer and set it but still no luck :[ I also was beginning to breakout on my chin. I really wanted to like this product but it just did not work well with my skin (i have dry skin) So unfortunately this one went back to the store. Definately not one that I would reccomend.

Crème -Urban Decay - Surreal Skin Cream to Powder Foundation
rated 4 of 5
briii 11/28/2011 1:38:00 AM

I tried this foundation a few months ago and loved the product itself but the lightest color sephora had was wayy too yellow for me. I looked like a banana compared to the rest of my skin. Not attractive! Last month I was in Macy's and was browsing around the makeup and saw that the Urban Decay section has two more shades in this foundation than Sephora does. When I first tried this I go the color Illusion which I thought was the lightest shade but found out its like the third or fourth from the lightest. It wasnt too dark for me just too yellow. The lady matched me in the color Haze witch is more pinkish. It matches absolutely perfect! I've never had a foundation match so good on my skin. Being light skinned, they're always either too light or too dark or something just goes wrong. But not with this one :] I'm in love with this foundation!! It's so smooth and creamy and lightweight, which I love. This gives me natural coverage while still covering any redness or discolorations I have. I recommend setting this with a powder or it probly won't last too long. When I set it it stays on good pretty much all day :] and being at work all day I don't have time to worry about my makeup so I'm happy this one stays on good and looks good throughout the day. I really like the look of the packaging, I just wish it was slimmer. It's so fat! But this is a great foundation and I am so happy I found one in my color :] Definately recommended.

Powder -Cover Girl - Fresh complexion oil control makeup (powder foundation)
rated 4 of 5
briii 11/28/2011 1:21:00 AM

I really like this powder :] it's hard for me to find a good powder that looks natural, gives decent coverage and stays on long. This does all of those!! I was using Maybellines superstay powder but I kinda got over it do started looking for a new powder. After trying a few different ones I found this one :) and I'm so happy I did. I got this for around $6 at Walmart in the color 605. [originally got 610 but the color was too yellow for me] the shade matches me perfectly which is really hard to find, especially drugstore brands. So that's a huge plus for me. I love the coverage it gives and it still looks natural :] it covers any redness and discoloration without looking cakey. It obviously doesn't last all day but it does stay on pretty long. After about 6ish hours of wearing this I need to touch up a little. So it's not too bad. I know a lot of people hate the compact it comes in, but I love it. It's slim and easy to carry around in my makeup bag. I hate when powders come in huge compacts!! Anyways, I love this powder. It's cheap, gives nice natural coverage and it lasts a decent amount of time :] ohh and no breakouts for me! This is definitely a keeper!!

Skincare - Body -Unlisted Brand - Tea Tree Oil
rated 5 of 5
briii 8/24/2011 2:56:00 AM

Last week I suffered from a horrible break out. Nothing was working for me so I decided to buy TTO. Let me tell you, this is one of the best purchases I've ever made! I purchased the 100% pure austrailian tea tree oil and use it as a toner all over my face. Literally 2 days later my skin cleared up!! I couldn't believe how great this worked for me. I rarely get bad breakouts but when I do they are horrible and take forever to clear up :( This is the only product that I feel actually worked for me and worked fast! It was a pretty good price, i got a 3 fl. oz bottle for $7 at Walmart and I can tell this bottle is going to last a pretty long time. Let me warn you, this stuff is very drying!! So only use it when needed and use with a good moisturizer. Overall I'm really impressed with TTO and definately reccommend it to anyone who suffers from a bad breakout :]

rated 5 of 5

I love this foundation :] I has very sheer coverage but it is the perfect amount of coverage for me. It lasts all day on me and hasn't broken me out which is a huge plus. The packaging is really cute and slim so it's easy to bring with me on the go. It was $29 at Sephora which isn't too bad for how long it lasts. This is one of my favorite foundations and will definately continue to use :)

Concealers -MAC - select cover-up
rated 5 of 5

I am so in love with this concealer!! I did a lot of reasearch on here and Youtube before purchasing this and finally decided to get it, and let me tell you I'm so happy I did! I originally got NW20 which matched my skin perfectly but for some reason looked like dark spots when I tried to cover up my blemish :( thankfully my fellow users on Makeupally told me to try out a NC color for redness and blemishes so I returned it for NC20 and it is amazing! This product is so creamy but covers blemishes extremely well(if you get the right shade). For me it clings to my blemishes and lasts pretty much all day. I haven't had to touch up any areas that I put this concealer on which is great :) also a little goes a very long way! I squeeze out a tiny tiny dot on my hand and apply it with my 194 brush then pat in with my fingers and I get a flawless finish :] the price I don't think is too bad especially for how much your getting and how long the tube lasts. This is definately my HG concealer and definately plan to repurchase :]

Cleansers -MAC - Green Gel Cleanser
rated 4 of 5
briii 7/26/2011 9:55:00 PM

Like other reviewers have said, I think this product is a hit or miss product. It seems like it works very good for some people but doesn't for others. This cleanser works really well for me and I love it!! I first started using it about a year ago when my sister got it and was too dry for her so she gave it to me. Ever since then I've been using this pretty much everyday :] I have normal to dry skin and my first week or so of using this it did dry my skin out an incredible amount but after about a week and a half my skin adjusted to it. I haven't had any bad reactions to this cleanser such as breakouts, which is a huge plus for me. The only reason I gave it 4 lippies is because of the price, it's $21. Over all I love this product and will definitely continue to repurchase :]

These are the best makeup remover wipes ever!! I used to like the neutrogena ones but one day my local walmart was out of them and I came accross these :] these are ten times better than he neutrogena wipes! They remove all my makeup and don't irritate my skin at all. They're pretty cheap too which is always a plus [: by far the best makeup remover wipes i've ever came accross!!

Shampoo -John Frieda - Brilliant Brunette Shine Release Volumizing Shampoo
rated 3 of 5
briii 7/21/2011 3:24:00 AM

I used to use this all the time because it was for brunettes and it claims to give your hair some volume. Well I did find that this shampoo brought out my natural highlights, so I liked that aspect of it but it did not give me any volume, which is more the reason I bought it in the first place. It was pretty disappointing but I gave it 3 stars because I still use it once and a while during the time period that I run out of my daily shampoo (Pantene breakage to strenth shampoo) and it does seem to give my hair a nice glow. This shampoos not horrible, just not what I was hoping for.

Cleansers -Purpose - Gentle Cleansing Wash
rated 5 of 5
briii 7/21/2011 2:54:00 AM

I love this cleanser :] its so gentle on my skin but still does the job of removing any excess makeup left behind from my wipes. It keeps my skin clean and breakout free! Whenever I decide to try something new, this is the cleanser that I always end up going back to. I have dry to normal skin and have trouble with a lot of cleaners drying out my skin but this one never dries my skin out. It was pretty cheap too, I think it was around $5 at Walmart. This is an awesome cleanser that you can never go wrong with [:

Crème -L'Oreal - magic smooth souffle
rated 3 of 5
briii 7/21/2011 2:47:00 AM

I really liked this foundation when I first started using it. But after a few weeks of wearing this everyday I noticed it started drying my face pretty bad. I have dry skin to begin with and do not need a product that's going to make my skin even more dry. However, when I first apply this foundation it makes my skin look wonderful. Its after a few hours of wearing it that I notice my skin looking dried out, even after loading on moisturizer :[ I was really excited when I bought this too but unfortunately my dry skin just can't take this foundation. I think this foundation would be great for people with more oily skin because it does look really good when first applied and seemed to last pretty good. I didn't find anything else wrong with this besides the drying factor. Sadly for me this foundations just going in my makeup drawer and will probly never see the light again.

Tinted Moisturizer -Aveeno - positively radiant
rated 4 of 5
briii 6/8/2011 12:34:00 AM

This is one of my favorite TMs :) I am very picky about what I put on my face and I have a hard time finding a good tinted moisturizer that works for me. This is one of the few that do. Although it is a little expensive for drugstore brands($14 at Walmart) I think it is well worth it. I find that if I apply it with a regular foundation brush it doesn't go on thick or streaky at all. It is nice and lightweight and it gives me just the right amount of coverage I need. Not too sheer and not too cakey :) It has lasts all day on me when I set it with a powder. I have normal/dry skin so this doesn't get oily on me throughout the day , but I can see how it would on people with more oily skin. The packaging is very nice as well. I love the fact that it has a pump, usually TMs are in just a tube can get very messy which can be a pain =/ I think the only downside to this TM is that it only comes in two shades. I believe theres only fair to light, and medium. Luckily for me the fair to light shade is perfect for my skin tone, but people with darker skin tones might have trouble with matching their skin tones. Overall I really like this TM and think it's great for on the go days :)

rated 5 of 5
briii 4/15/2011 2:25:00 AM

This blush is awesome (: I've been on a searh for cheap dupe for MACs Pink Swoon blush because of the price and Pink Passion is very similar to Pink Swoon. I am very happy with this blush! it's a super bright pink color and can look very infimidating in the pan but if you apply it lightly it looks amazing (: it was definately worth the $3 I paid for it. Overall it's an amazing blush!!

rated 5 of 5
briii 4/12/2011 1:24:00 AM

This is the best self tanning lotion ever (: i'm pretty pale and have a hard time finding a self tanner that doesn't turn me orange. This lotion makes me look like I have a natural tan which I love. It smells amazing too! alot of sunless tanning lotions have a gross smell to them but this one smells great. It was pretty cheap too and the bottle lasts for a long time too. Overall this is a great sunless tanning lotion and i don't think I'll ever let this one go (=
