I have been using this gel-based moisturiser together with Neutrogena's Alcohol Free Toner for a month. Both products seem to work well together. For hygiene purpose, I emptied a portion of the moisturiser into a separate container to prevent contamination within the entire pot. Pros: - it didnt cause me any breakout [note: my skin is very prone to breakouts] - cheap - has a refreshing scent - oil free hence ideal for my oily T zone - makeup stays longer [ I apply moisturiser first, before primer and powder foundation] Cons: - leaves a slight sticky texture

I love the scent but it doesn't last and it's troublesome having to bring the bottle out with me for 'touchups'.

Lip Treatments -Canmake - Lip Concealer

I use it to conceal my natural lips colour before applying my lipstick to bring out my lipstick colour. I think the trick to using this product is apply the product on lips in light strokes followed by patting the lip concealer 'into' the lips. Do prevent excessive application as this will cause the lipstick colour to appear dry and flaky. Finish off by applying lipstick using a lip brush. The price is cheap and one stick can last me for a long time. It fully conceals my natural lips colour.

I have fair skin and it is hard trying to find a blusher shade to suit my skin tone. It provides a very sheer pinkish colour on cheeks with one swipe of the brush. The look is really very natural for me. On times when I want to intensify the blush colour, I'll just swirl my blusher brush on the product more and slowly build the colour on my cheeks. Hence, the intensity of the shade is controlled and I'm able to achieve the look I want!! Surface area of the product is pretty wide/large thus makes it easier to swirl the brush around to pick up the colour. I'm glad to find a shade that suits me!

Pros: - easy to blend colours for smoky look - colours are great even if only one shade has been used - price is cheap - colours do stay on for 5hours - does not sting my eyes when product gets into eyes accidentally

A great and natural shade for highlighting my eyes, nose bridge and cheeks. With a large fluffy brush, blending of the powder on facial features is a breeze. Though some users feel that the product when used is quite 'invisible', but for my skin tone, it's quite obvious and helps me to achieve a natural glow to my face. I use it on face as a highlighter and do not experience any breakouts! One stone kills two birds- eyeshadow cum face highlighter!

The pink shade and glitter are fabulous!! I pair it with MAC Frost Angel to maximize the pinkness. Both products really compliment each other, best complement I would say for lipstick cum gloss!

It clumps my lashes together and are extremely difficult to remove, even with an oil-based eye makeup remover. Some of my natural lashes are always lost in the midst of removing the mascara. However, this product doesn't smudge at all.

Eyeliner -Christian Dior - Kohl Pencil

The colour doesn't stay and smudges after 4 hours. Application is quite painful as the pencil has a sharp/hard/dry point and can feel it tugging at my eyelids when I line them with it. Doesnt help when the price is above average.

This mascara aims to lengthen your natural lashes, not to volumise them. The brand has another range for volumising lashes. Pros: - It really lengthens my natural lashes - Doesn't smudge AT ALL - Doesn't clump - Curling before and after application of the mascara maximises its effects - Upon contact with warm water, the fibers will detach themselves from your natural lashes [eye makeup remover is not needed to remove my mascara but simply to remove my eyeshadow and eyeliner] Cons: - The wand may pick out too much of the product

I have been using this black eyeliner for 4 years. Pros: - Price is reasonable - A pot can last me for several months - Application is easy because of its texture [I use a lip brush as an eyeliner brush] Cons: - It does smudge after 4 hours and re-application is needed [the smudging could be due to my oily lids and I do not use eye primers] - Need to bring brush always for touchups

The line it creates [when I try to rim my waterline] is not consistent. And I need to smudge it using Q-tip cotton stick to make the line smoother, always. Not going to buy the Aqua Eyes Eyeliner anymore. The range doesn't serve its purpose-it is hard to line my eyes [be it in White or Black shade] due to its inconsistency and after applying them, I need to perform extra techniques to make the eyeliners stay.

I bought this in HK during my trip [as this brand was not available in Singapore retail malls then. till Sephora opened its doors] and realised it was much cheaper in HK. The staying power of this eyeliner is not fantastic, hence I always apply loose powder before lining my eyes AND applying black eyeshadow after lining my eyes. Yes, it is very tedious to make sure that my finely lined eyes do not turn out to be gothic hours later. Thus said, upon finishing this pencil, I wont be purchasing another one in Singapore.

I love pink lipstick and I find this colour really attractive. I do agree with some of the reviews that this lipstick does tend to dry-out lips or tend to make lips look dry [flakes on the lips]. However, I found a method to combat this problem. 1] Apply some lip balm before applying lipstick 2] Apply lipstick with a brush 3] Blot lips with tissue 4] Re-apply lipstick using brush Hope this method works for you too!
