I've been using this for years now and I'm so glad I spent the money. I'm half-asian, but my eyes look more asian with short, sparse lashes that point downwards. A lot of eyelash curlers that my friends seemed fine with didn't give me as good a curl as this does. The only complaints (which might not be a big deal for some) I have was that last time I checked Sephora, they didn't carry Shu Uemura anymore so the only place to order the pad refills or the curler itself is through Shu Uemura. I take this stuff into account since I order primarily online. I read though Shiseido pads fit the Shu so I bought mine on Ebay (versus $6 at Sephora) for $2.
I love the color. It's a shade or two lighter than my natural lip color, so it looks natural but it seems to soften my face. I can see this being worn on its' own or with a variety of other looks. This looks a little glossy once it goes on, but I thought it was drying after wearing it for a bit.
Hearing it was waterproof I got excited. I've been on a search for a non-smudging black eyeliner. This applied nicely. It wasn't too soft or too dry. It didn't tug on my lids and it was a nice pigmented black. However by mid-day it fades. When I waterline, it ends up smudging after a couple hours too and leaving my undereye area grey. It's not the worst smudging I've experienced but for a HE brand I was hoping this wouldn't be the case.
This seemed to work alright when I first got it, but it dried out pretty quick. I didn't get much use out of it. I was pretty disappointed by this since I liked a lot of other Colorstay products.
Mascara -L'Oreal - Waterproof Voluminous Carbon Black

At first I was excited and had high hopes for this since it went on really black and (when wiped with a tissue) didn't clump as badly as others I've tried. But an hour later I had horrible smudged eyes. I've tested this for a week and a half and I'm tossing this. This doesn't smudge on some people apparently. I don't know what went wrong when I tried out this mascara, but it was the worst mascara I've tried.
I'm so glad I bought this. I break out less often and my skin looks less dull. I don't feel like the brush scratches my skin or is too harsh, but my skin isn't sensitive either. The only complaint would be how expensive the system can be if you include how often you have to replace the brush heads (every 3 months; single head = $25). As cheap as I am though, I felt like this was def. a worthwhile investment.
I bought this foundation since I really liked Colorstay. Unfortunately I didn't realize there's a fine shimmer to this which I think looks better on skin that is already in really good shape. Since I have large pores on my cheeks, I felt like the shimmer in this foundation brought out the large pores more. My skin is combo too so I felt like it made my skin greasy by the end of the day. If you have dry skin this will probably work better on you. There's a good shade range for fair skin and the palest color they have is too pale for me (NC20). I think that there are warm and cool foundations as well. It also comes with a pump which I like since Colorstay doesn't have a pump.
I was excited to try this out. Unfortunately for my combo skin this ended up looking greasy by the end of the day on me. I bought 110 thinking it would turn out more warmer toned than when it was applied on my face. My mom who has dry skin loved this, so I def. think this foundation is better for those with dry skin who want a dewey, light-med. coverage foundation.
I love this e/s. It's pigmented, blends easily, dirt cheap, and I hasn't creased on me so far (I use shadow primer though).
I used this when I was a teenager. I had acne, but nothing too severe. A couple cystic zits at most, but mostly a lot of little bumps which I found out were closed comedones. Anyways I saw so many ads for Proactiv that I assumed this was some miracle product. This was stupid thinking on my part because I didn't educate myself and research that there are diff. types of acne and one product that works for one type won't work for another. I stopped using it after a year or so of mediocre results. It made my skin flakey, red, and irritated. Even the moisturizer made my skin burn since it had BP in it. Looking back, Proactiv might've done more damage for me than good since I didn't take into the factors all the things that might've been triggering my acne. I think the biggest culprit was the dryness from the desert I lived in. Since my skin was oily and I had acne I assumed moisturizing wasn't needed, which was a -huge- mistake. If your skin sounds like mine and you live in a similar climate I'd seriously see a dermatologist before continuing to use Proactiv since it can dry your skin out pretty bad.
I bought this hoping this would work well with my oily skin and I like lighter foundations anyways. Half way through the day my skin looked shiny. This was with the regular SPF foundation. The coverage was alright for me, but I have slight redness and a few blemishes. I don't think this would cover that well for people who need medium - full coverage despite Bare Escentuals' claim. I don't love or hate this foundation. Since my skin's been getting more dry, I'm not sure if I'll continue using this. This was overhyped IMO.i
Great for other shadows other than Fyrinnae too! It can get sticky if you apply too much, but I usually use one dab on the lids and smooth it over my entire eye area. Plus it's a steal for $7. I'm starting to prefer this to Too Faced Shadow Insurance, which feels really slick compared to this.
I'm such a cheapskate that spending over $20 on a brush felt so painful, but after reading review after review saying how great this brush was I caved in and bought it. Plus I was tired of never getting that flawlessly blended smokey eye I always tried to achieve and never got. I am so glad I bought this! Definately one of the eye makeup brushes I reach for the most. It's so effortless and rarely do I get such beautifully blended shadows with other brushes.
I was a little hesitant in buying this since it looked like it had gold glitter in it, but like the other reviewer said it appears more like a hightlight on the skin once it's applied. It's very pigmented so you have to be careful not to overapply. The only complaint I have would be the name since it's not so much berry colored as coral colored. I was a little disappointed since I was looking specifically for a berry blush, but I'm glad I have this blush in my collection now.
Makeup Brushes -Bare Escentuals - Flawless Application Face Brush

This is the scratchiest brush I've ever used for makeup application. I used it once and then tossed it. Btw, I got this brush from a starter kit so I don't know if that has anything to do with the quality versus buying the brush by itself.
