*This is a review for the body lotion* I received a sample from Tokyo Rose so I could try out some scents. The light-weight lotion absorbs quickly and leaves my skin feeling soft. At first, this scent was a bit too masculine and overpowering on me. Then, I grew to love it. It also helped that my husband really liked it on me. It starts off like an in your face men's cologne, heavy on the sandalwood and white tea, then does a 180 into a women's sweet but sexy fragrance with the dark vanilla lingering. The orchid is somewhere in there but very subtle. I did not get any citrus scent. Per Sephora.com: This fragrance revels in the complexities of love, with warm notes of dark vanilla bean, sensuous sandalwood, provocative spices, and an unexpected kiss of sweet orchid. Dare to pair this fragrance with an exotic floral for a sweet and sultry scent. Notes: Dark Vanilla Bean, Sparkling Citrus, Orchid, White Tea, Sandalwood, Tonka Bean. Style: Inquisitive. Dramatic. Darling.

The scents listed on the packet are Deep Vanilla, Exotic Wood, White Orchid and Ebony. The scent started out smelling very woodsy and then the orchid kicked in. However, the woodsy still lingered a bit. The vanilla comes in as a final note. The overall scent is not overpowering and almost subtle, except for the woodsiness. Overall, it reminds me of an unassuming men's cologne. I think it makes for a good unisex fragrance. I prefer, much to my surprise, Tainted Love.

Lip Gloss -Lancome - Juicy Tubes - Simmer

Tried this out from a GWP and its hands down one of my HG lip glosses, mainly for the color. Its a beautiful shade of peach with hints of peach metallics. it goes great alone or over listick. It has an light fruity candy scent but in an expensive way. For a gloss its not overly sticky and lasts for a few hours.

Eye Makeup Remover -Neutrogena - Eye Makeup Remover Lotion - Hydrating

I bought this EMU to as an alternative to liquid EMUs. This one has a barely noticeable scent which is clean but not soapy smelling. The lotion"s creaminess is not too light and not too thick. It does a good job of getting almost all of my eye makeup off (I do not use waterproof mascara). It feels soothing and moisturizing, which I like; but I'd prefer that it remove ALL the eye makeup. It's not as good as Bioderma Crealine or the Lancome Eau Fraiche Doucer Micellar Cleansing Water, but it does a decent job. I like the flip top cap and squeezable plastic tube so I can get most of the product out.

I bought this on sale or with a coupon @ CVS after reading some great reviews online. I don't mind the big wand and was able to coat all my lashes. It gives me longer, fuller lashes and lasts several hours. However, the last time I used it, I noticed some flaking after 8 hours. It comes off pretty easily with eye makeup remover.

MY HG clear nail polish. No longer sold in the US. :( Used to get it @ WalMart for under $4 but its no longer there. This is a great , long-lasting clear polish to use when I'm between manicures. Does not chip. Two coats dry very quickly (about 60 seconds). Nice shine too.

Received a sample @ my local Sephora @ JCP store. Received 7 pre-soaked pads in a trial size. The pads worked well as a toner and helped to remove most but not all of my tinted moisturizer. It left my skin soft and not at all tight. Love that they are alcohol-free and contain lactic and glycolic acids, Hyaluronic Acid, and fruit/plant extracts. The full size comes in a 60 pad jar for $22 (46 cents a pad). Did not use long enough to notice any long term effects. **Thanks Michaelangelo22 & aqelvis for the tip to cut the pads in half! The pads are large and quite saturated so half a pad would work just as well. Received this as a sample from the company so I could try out some scents. The fragrance notes include Mandarin, Tuberose, Gardenia & Vetiver. The scent is lovely; young yet elegant. It smells of flowers and also lightly sweet.Great for daytime use in the summer or spring. The lotion is light and the scent lingers for a bit. Per Sephora.com: This fragrance charms with a bright burst of citrus and layers of sweet, blossoming florals. Romantic and optimistic, the blend of pressed petals, tea leaves, and sweet orange create an enchanting sensory experience. Dare to pair this beautiful fragrance with a sweet vanilla or crisp floral for a new level of allure. Notes: Rose, Mandarin, Tangerine, White Jasmine, Peony, Muguet, Amber, White Musk. Eye Primer -Nuance by Salma Hayek - Anti-Aging Tinted Eye Brightener

I ran out of TBS eye brightener and decided to give this product a whirl since I love most of the Nuance line. This is a medium color brightener with a smooth and creamy texture. However, it sinks right onto the skin because it contains a silicone. I don't really see that its an eye brightener as much as a primer for concealer. For the latter purpose, I give it an A+. I also use it alone to cover up light circles so for me it does work as a concealer. Overall, its a great product for daily use alone or as a primer for other eye brighteners or concealers. It retails for about $20 @ CVS. As with the other Nuance products, it does contain a lot of good stuff such as caffeine, a peptide and sodium hyaluronate. Also contains fruit and plant extracts. My favorite Lancome mascara. Creates longer, fuller lashes and has staying power. Does take a bit of work to remove it and I do lose some lashes in the process. I got them as a GWP as haven't needed to but more.

Got a sample @Sephora.I love the fleshy pale color but it does hav e a ton of shimmer. I used it alone and it did stay put for over 6 hours. May have laster longer if I didn't wash it off. It wiped off quite easily with my Neutrogena eye MU remover lotion. Somehow it seemed to creep under my eyes a bit. I prefer matte shadow primers. This is good for someone who likes shimmery lids. I haven't tried it under eye shadow but I suspect it will add some shimmer.

This body lotion has a delicious vanilla scent. It's great for my hands because it does not leave them one bit greasy. It contains several oils, including canola (I cook a lot with that oil). As for use as a body lotion, I found that I really had to spend time to rub it in (similar to Nuance Salma Hayek My Secret Super Moisturizing Body Cream). I prefer to use a lotion that blends in smoothly. Yummy coconut scent. I only used this at bedtime because it's very thick and oily. It mostly stayed on top of the skin and really didn't sink in.
