Love this mascara. I've tried so many on my sparce spindly lashes & this is the best results yet - makes me look like I've got really long luscious lashes. The only downside is that it doesnt stay a good consistency for long - after about 4-5weeks it starts to go a bit clumpy! :(
I was intrigued by the "doll lashes" claim & even liked the results when I tried this in-store so i bought it, To my horror the first day I wore it one of my colleagues looked at me & started laughing ( I hadnt been crying, it wasnt a hot day & it wasnt even lunchtime) - I rushed to the bathroom & it had somehow run off my lashes & was embedded in the creases around my eyes!! NOT A GOOD LOOK! I now keep this as my spare when I go out (as I dont care if I lose it) - and had to go out & buy another mascara for everyday (estee lauder double lash extending which is much better) Dont waste your money!
Lotions/ Creams -The Body Shop - Spa Wisdom Polynesia Monoi Miracle Oil

This was recommended to me by a friend after I was looking to by Moroccan Oil for my dry winter hair & split ends. I've been trying to grow my hair for ages but as its heavily coloured I keep having to have the ends trimmed off as they get so dry. Given that this is £10 (& half the price of M/O) i thought I'd give it a go. I'm hooked! I leave it on as a deep conditioning treatment once a week before washing out - but the most impressive results are from putting a tiny bit through the ends after I have styled it - it makes my blow dry last a bit longer as it smooths down the ends... and consequently means less styling required on a daily basis = less split ends = longer shinier hair! I also use it as a body oil on knees/shins/elbows after a bath/shower & it moisturises my skin without a greasy residue. BUY IT!
I recently had a tester of this in the REN combination skin kit & have just gone back for the full size version as I missed it so much. Easy to use, not messy, and it works! I use it whenever I get a hormonal breakout & it clarifies my skin & dries out spots (but not the rest of my skin) and leaves it feeling soft & clean. Great product.
Amazing amazing stuff... I use it every night (not around the eye area though its too strong) & it clears up my congested jaw/ chin area - while also smoothing out skin tone, shrinking pores & helps fight wrinkles! Its expensive but worth it - its one of the few products I've used where you really can see a clear benefit. BUY IT!
Tinted Moisturizer -Laura Mercier - Tinted Moisturizer SPF 20

I'd heard so much about how great this is I had to try it for myself. I've always been a chanel foundation girl - thinking I needed the coverage with my uneven skintone so it was a big risk to "downgrade" to a tinted moisturiser at £33, but my friends who used it all raved about it - so, what the heck. WHY DIDNT I DO THIS EARLIER!! It goes on like a foundation but is lighter so its a) smoother on application & blends beautifully with a brush - and b) doesnt sit in your wrinkles giving that ageing cakey look that you get from a foundation You just need a spot or two of concealer to hide the odd blemish - followed by a waft of bronzer & hey presto - I look 5 years younger!! Its expensive .. but I'm converted!! It doesnt last all day without a top up - only until mid afternoon - However I have quite oily skin so anything slides off after a few hours. I'm going to try the primer next & see if that makes it last longer (apparently it does) Awesome product. Buy it!
After years of trying every mascara going only to be disappointed this one is a breath of fresh air- it actually works! The brush is great for getting to tiny little lashes, it adds length & volume, lifts & curls & separates. My thin almost invisible lashes look full & long!! The only setback is the price... very expensive.. but it works.
Mascara -L'Oreal - Double Extend Mascara with Lash Boosting Serum

I've got short wayward lashes & am constantly on the hunt for mascaras that extend & give volume at the same time. I was intrigued by this as it claims to have lash extending serum as a primer.. 3 weeks in & I'm throwing it away in disgust - the primer sticks to your lashes so that when you add the mascara on top its dried out so the overall effect is clumpy dried out looking "drag queen" lashes. Its incredibly difficult to put on as a result - and the only way I could get any kind of good looking effect was to comb through the lashes immediately after application to separate the clumps (thus removing great chunks of mascara & flaking all over my cheeks) Hideous hideous hideous stuff!!! .... & so my search continues...
7 weeks so far... nothing. 10 weeks in..... NADA!! Dont waste your money. The mavala product had much more effect & it was only £10!
Lovely colours, lovely texture, lovely smell.. in fact lovely stuff all round!! Expensive but so worth it.
Lovely texture & colours but have tried a few now - unfortunately they just dont last 5 minutes!! Have to constantly reapply & the tube was done in just over a month so doesnt work out very good value for money. Good for daywear or for very light coverage but I wont be buying again. Have gone back to Laura Mercier which lasts the distance.
Bought this as an impulse buy - I love it! can be used to highlight under the eye as well as camoflague nasty "marionette" lines from nose - mouth. A little goes a long way & it goes on nicely once warmed up with a finger tip. Lovely stuff.
Treatments -Ren - Glycolactic Skin Renewal Peel Mask

I received a sample of this when I bought some cleanser & was advised to try it on my volatile, late thirties, hormonal-acne prone skin. I tried it once a wk, three weeks in a row. It was... OK... didnt have any significant impact to be honest. My skin was left feeling nice & soft, but no more so than any other mask. Probably best for first-time peel/mask users - its very gentle. I also didnt like the greasy texture - its like smearing eight hour cream all over your face.
I am in my late thirties & have really volatile, hormonal-acne prone skin, so I need a non-clogging foundation- yet at the same time I need one that gives good coverage, yet also smooths out my skin tone nicely & also lasts. THIS IS IT! I've used MAC studio fix for years & always found it a bit heavy, but need the coverage- then I noticed a friend's amazing skin & asked her what her secret was & she put me onto this stuff so I gave it a try. I'm so glad I did. They have a good range of colours/tones to choose from so you can get the right shade - and the packaging is great. Its too soon to tell what affect it has on my acne (I dont use it every day) but as its quite light & I apply it with a foundation brush- and even my husband made a comment how my skin looked good when I was wearing it - so far so good!
