Treatments -Garnier - Sleek and Shine Moroccan Sleek Oil Treatment

I have thick, coarse asian hair. I use this on my towelled dry hair after I shower and it leaves my hair soft and helps make it MUCH easier to manage since I have very long hair now and it can be a workout just to get it in a ponytail! I also have the other garnier serum in the green bottle and this one works better!
UPDATE: I am almost at the end of the bottle and I am DEFINITELY getting another. Nothing has worked against my acne besides this. It does nothing for blackheads for me but thats fine because my skin hasnt looked this good in years! I have been using this product for one week. I have had ance for around 6-7 years, and I'm only 17 years old. This toner makes my skin so smooth! I can't remember the last time it was like this. I've only gotten a few very small pimples using this, and right now my skin has none. I am hoping this keeps my acne away so that my scars have time to fade! I love this product a lot, my skin is finally improving.

I bought the lemon one after reading such good reviews. I agree that it does a very good job removing dirt and oils, however it contains alcohol. My skin breaks out easily w/ products with alcohol in them. But after reading the reviews again I will give this product another chance. I will change the rating once I come to a conclusion.
I'd give it a 3.5. It's not what I expected, but it's alright. It will gently pull off dead skin cells, but not fully sometimes. A scrub would work better. It's kinda fun tho. and funny to creep people out, because when you apply the mask, your face will be shiny! But after you take it off, it's matte. If it was like a dollar, i'd buy it and use it occasionally.

The entire good stuff organics like is great! It doesn't break me out (I have acne prone skin) so thats good. If you read the ingredients, you'll see alot of natural ingredents. I don't know if that really matters, but this moisturizer is pretty good. I have EXTREMELY oily skin and this moisturizer can be a bit heavy for me, but my skin didn't get any oilier than it would have with any other product. (I always apply powder after I moisturize) However my nose definately gets oilier from using this, but i'm okay with that. I can just blot it. This is inexpensive ($4 on sale) and I think it would be awesome for someone with dry skin.
Masks -Freeman - Goodstuff Organics Revitalizing Face mask

This mask is white with a thick consistancy. It contains fair trade cocoa butter, and so it doesn't dry out your skin. It also claims to restore and brighten skin complexion, and it definately does! My skin looked brighter and even toned, right after the first use.
Scrubs -Freeman - Good Stuff Organics Smoothing Facial Scrub

Pretty good mask. It's got tiny little scrubbers that you can definately feel.. like the reviewer below, I feel like it leaves some kind of film on my skin after I rinse. However, I don't think it's too bad. Makes my skin feel smooth. Oh and try buy this when it's on sale for 4 bucks.
Moisturizers -Neutrogena - Healthy Skin Anti Wrinkle SPF 15

It's okay, not as good as I thought it would be. I think that if you already have nice smooth skin, then this would make your skin perfect. But for me (oily, acne, scars) it didn't really do anything. It didn't cause pimples but I also don't feel it prevent either. I got it for 10$, and I usually see it for 15$ here. I saw it once on clearance at Shoppers Drug Mart for 5$, and that's the only way i'd buy it - if it was 5 bucks.
Overall I give it a 4.5. I have the platinum edition 1 and 1/4 inch red flat iron. I got it for $30 and it works great. It has adjustable heat settings 140-410F. It heats up super fast, Great alternative to the more expensive brands; it works really good for the price you pay. I have thick black hair and it straightens suuuper fast. I usually won't have to go over the section twice when I am straightening.. sometimes I do though.

They are good .. but I no longer use these as I have found something that does the same if not a better job. I just use paper towel from my house.. It's a recycled paper (its not bounty). its a smooth paper towel and it works great. Costs little to no money. You just have to use the right kind of paper...
Cleansers -Freeman - Good Stuff Organics Foaming Facial Cleanser
booyaga 1/3/2010 10:18:00 PM
One thing I noticed even from the first time using it, is that it makes your skin so soft and smooth!! I was surprised :P.. The cap acts as a foamer and it's easy to use. I usually use around 1-2 pumps and it's enough. I've used this for 2 months now and it is around 1/3 full. I'm extremely acne prone and this cleanser helps prevent them. Since it's foaming and it's winter, it *can* be a bit drying. But I use my Olay or Neutrogena moisturizer afterwards and my skin looks alot better than it did a year ago. I got it for 7 or 8 bucks at Wal-mart. This is the only cleanser I have repurchased!
I got this for $30 around 3 years ago. It still works occasionally. It stopped heating up. It really does snag hair like crazy, and it's a burden to use.
Its ok... I guess. Doesn't really do much. But it does clean the hair nicely.

This mask can be a mess and a hassle sometimes. The results don't last too long, but it's just a nice alternative. Nice to do once in a while.
Lips -E.L.F. - Therapuetic Conditioning Balm-strawberry cream
booyaga 8/18/2009 7:03:00 PM
This is kind of inbetween, 50-50. It is a waxy balm and the strawberry smell is okay. The blackberry one might be better. Instead of buying this for 1 dollar, instead you should go to the store and sacrifice 2 dollars for some other balm/chapstick.
