Cleansers -Eucerin - Redness Relief Soothing Cleanser

I have been using this product in conjunction with the redness relief night cream from the same line and it has worked wonders for my very red skin. Ever since I used Dessert Essence Teal Tree Oil face wash TWO years ago it has been an endless cycle of terrible cystic acne and redness. Unfortunately that one bad product left my skin damaged and really sensitive--this Eucerin redness relief line is the only thing that has truly helped in the redness department. I am going on the second month of using this product and it continues to relieve my tired skin. For the record, if anyone reads this, I have sensitive, acne-prone, oily skin, although my cheeks are a bit drier than the rest. I do not have rosacea--the redness I get comes from (I think) the benzoyl peroxide I use to treat my acne.

Cleansers -Desert Essence - Thoroughly Clean Face Wash with Organic Tea Tree Oil and Awapuhi

I really wanted this product to work after hearing so many positive reviews. Unfortunately this product is just not right for me. Before I used this face wash I had mild acne on my t zone and rarely did I ever get a pimple on my cheeks. the first time I cleaned my face using this product my face felt tight. the second day a red rash-like thing appeared on my left cheek. Then my whole face got really red as if I had a sun burn--which never happens to me btw. SO now I have a case of severe cystic acne that won't go away and a perpetual redness even though I haven't used the damn thing in three months. This cleanser really did a number on my skin. Turns out that the tea tree oil is way too harsh for my skin. I guess just because a product contains "all-natural ingredients" does not neccesarily mean it will work for you.

well, I have used to have oily skin, but that is what the saleswoman told me. I now believe I have combination skin because my cheeks are never oily and I never get pimples there. I mostly get pimples on my forehead, chin, the area around my nose and I have blackheads.(So annoying!!!!) Anyway, this lotion doesn't really control oil at all, and I don't like the way I feels on my skin. I would not buy this again.
