Eye Shadow -MAC - Overrich - Copperbeam Pigment
rated 5 of 5
boomgurl 10/20/2008 12:41:00 AM

I agree with mljohnson123 about this pigment being extremely similar to Coco Beach. It is a deep, coppery-rusted chocolate red. Very complex but works with many different color combos. However, I find that it is one step better because it blends so much better. The formula is much smoother and "sticks" like Solar Bits. Because it is a finer milled formula, the jar is not filled as most MAC pigments are. It is done by weight, not volume.

Concealers -MAC - Select Cover Up Color Corrector Peach
rated 5 of 5
boomgurl 11/24/2007 12:56:00 PM

On my 3rd tube of this. For reference, I am NC30 in MAC and Fiji in NARS. This peach colour corrector is great for highlighting and concealing different parts of the face. I use it to highlight my brow bones, both above and below the eye brows, cheek bones, nose bridge, and around my mouth. I also use it in conjunction with MAC's Studio Finish concealer for under eyes. It brightens my under eye circles and overall gives me a very fresh, awake look. An all time favorite product. It's a Pro product which anyone can purchase from Pro locations or ordering directly through MAC. $14USD 10m/.33oz

Eyeliner -MAC - Glitter Eye Liner Pewterpink
rated 5 of 5
boomgurl 11/22/2007 12:28:00 AM

Part of the Metal-X launch, this glitter eye liner is described as blue purple with multicolor glitter. It's similar to last year's Oxidate so if you missed out, try this. The brush is skinny and very thin so you can get a very precise line. Great lasting power and adds just a bit of sparkle to your eye. I wear them alone or pair with gel liners. I always look forward to these every year. $14.50USD 3g

Makeup Brushes -MAC - #219 Pencil Brush
rated 5 of 5
boomgurl 11/22/2007 12:16:00 AM

I have 4 of these brushes. I use them for smudging eyeshadow and kohl liners. It's fantastic for cutting a sharp crease as well. It's perfect pointed tip allows me to use them to apply fluidline, reflects, and glitters. It's also easy to apply shimmer onto the tear ducts. It has a firm tip, but is not scratchy at all. A great investment. 23USD

Eye Shadow -MAC - Metal-X Cyber
rated 5 of 5
boomgurl 11/22/2007 12:07:00 AM

A true highly metallic silver with silver reflects. It's very smooth pigmented, and glides like a dream. It's a touch deeper than Silver Fog pigment. It's great as a base for eyeshadow or on its own. I always use an eyeshadow primer and haven't had any problems with creasing. $16.50USD 2.5g

Eye Shadow -MAC - Metal-X Pink Ingot
rated 5 of 5
boomgurl 11/21/2007 11:50:00 PM

Beautiful blue-pink infused with gold reflects. The texture is wonderfully smooth and very soft. It looks like Nymphette lipglass. As with any eyeshadow, it needs a primer for longevity. You could also use these as a base for powder eyeshadow as well. These are also touted as being multipurpose. I could definitely use this as a blush highlighter or patted on the lips topped with gloss. Overall a great buy. $16.50USD 2.5g

Eye Shadow -MAC - Paint Pot in Painterly
rated 4 of 5
boomgurl 11/20/2007 11:12:00 PM

I agree w/ one of the reviewers below. I too am NC25 and wanted something as close to Bare Canvas paint as possible. However, on my skin it looks like Yogurt eyeshadow - too pink. Great product and wear overall, just not a color that worked on me.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Pigment in Maroon
rated 5 of 5
boomgurl 10/22/2007 2:59:00 PM

Completely disagree with the reviewers' comparison of Macroviolet fluidline and Maroon pigment. Maroon is similar to Sable and Cranberry eyeshadows combined. It is a frost with subtle red reflects while Macroviolet is a dark eggplant with frost.

Highlighters -MAC - Mineralize Skinfinish - New Vegas
rated 5 of 5
boomgurl 10/22/2007 12:07:00 AM

Like with most mineralized skin finishes, it leaves an incredibly wonderful luminiscense to the skin. Wonderfully soft texture that does not chip or break into chunks. I dust this over a matte blush or a matte bronzer and the look is breathtaking. Use sparingly with a fan brush or a duo fiber brush and you can achieve the perfect glow. Retails for $24.50USD

Mascara -MAC - Plush Lash
rated 5 of 5
boomgurl 10/21/2007 11:45:00 PM

I really love this mascara. It is truly black. I have incredibly sparse, wimpy lashes. This mascara paired with MAC's Prep+Prime Lash works wonders. No matter how many coats I apply, it does not clump at all. My lashes stay soft and supple. No flakes, smudges, or smears. A definite re-buy for me. 11USD

Liquid -MAC - Select SPF 15 Foundation
rated 5 of 5
boomgurl 9/11/2007 12:51:00 AM

Great medium coverage foundation. It looks flawless buffed into the skin using MAC 182 or 187 brush. I have dry to normal skin and it lasts all day long when I pair it with a lightweight moisturizer and skin primer. No breakouts, clogged pores, or any skin irritations.

Highlighters -MAC - Sheer Shimmer Powder - Pretty Indulgent
rated 5 of 5
boomgurl 4/21/2007 9:47:00 PM

A beautiful yellow-based pale neutral shimmer powder. It's finely milled therefore no glitter fallout. It makes a gorgeous highlighter. Perfect for a radiant glow. I pair it with several blushes as well a bronzers. I get compliments everytime I wear it, especially in pictures. Like all great things, this too must come to an end because it's limited edition. Don't miss the chance.

Eye Shadow -MAC - CopperClast Pigment
rated 5 of 5
boomgurl 11/23/2006 12:32:00 AM

Copperclast is MAC's newest pigment from the Jewelscent launch. It's a coppery bronze w/silver reflects. At first glance, it reminds me of Sunpepper w/o the slight red undertone and green reflects. Beautiful rich color payoff. *EDIT* Both pigments are identical. The only difference is that Copperclast adheres while Sunpepper flakes away.

Eyeliner -MAC - Liquidlast Liner - Point Black
rated 5 of 5
boomgurl 10/9/2006 3:05:00 AM

This is a great true pitch black liquid liner. It does not budge at all. I've worn it through my New Orleans summer, swimming, and showering and it's stayed intact the entire time. The only way to remove this product is an oil-based cleanser. Fantastic product. Retails $ 16.50 USD.

Eyeliner -MAC - Liquidlast Liner - Brassbeat
rated 5 of 5
boomgurl 10/9/2006 2:55:00 AM

My perception of this color is golden khaki brown. It dries very fast and does NOT budge once set. Once dried, it takes on a high metallic sheen. This liner would pair well w/taupes, bronzes, and greens. My only complaint however is the brush. I'd prefer a felt tip b/c the brush tends to pick up too much product and I can't get a very fine line. Retails $16.50
