Nails -Essie - Naturally Clean - Purifying Nail Polish Remover

This is the best nail polish remover I have ever used. I got this at Ulta because they had a special where if you bought $17.00 or more of Essie NP you got a free 6oz. of this NP remover. I normally use cutex or the generic brands they sell at the drugstores. I try to use the moisturizing or strengthing formulas but no matter what they leave my nails dry and yucky looking. This NP remover although more pricey than your average DS brand is worth it! It left my nails beautifully cleaned! What I mean by that is they were smooth moisturized and looked like how your natural nails should look! Definitely will be repurchasing and getting rid of my DS remover!

Top/Base Coats -Essie - Matte About You

Going to have to get a backup of this! I love the look of matte nail polish and having this is like doubling my nail polish collection. This is also great for people who might not want a whole bunch of matte polishes hanging about, but want the look. I also use this as a top coat over my actual matte polishes (wierd as that may seem) as I don't like not having a top coat on.

Polishes -OPI - Black Shatter

Got one of the last 2 at my local ulta! It is so cool! The first nail I applied it to came out kind of funky, but on my other nails I did one thick swipe over my entire nail and it came out perfect. I think the secret to this polish is thick application with the minimum amount of brush strokes. Also be sure your polish is completely dry. It dries kind of matte, but looks awesome with a coat of seche vite!

Polishes -OPI - Jade is the New Black

I love this color! It is a dark true jade that looks great even matted out. Also looks really cool under OPI Shatter.
