Lip Gloss -Philosophy - Flavored Lip Shine Collection

I currently own two tubes of aloha girl, and they are heaven! They last for several hours, and most lip glosses disappear on my lips within a matter of minutes (dryness?). The formula is very emollient and heavier than some lip glosses. The scent is exactly as they claim. They have the light, sweet flavor of pure sugar, even though there isn't sugar in the formula. There is some glitter, but it's fine and not gaudy. I love these lip glosses and just ordered two more in caramel apple and pumpkin spice muffin for fall.

Lotions/ Creams -Philosophy - Fresh Peaches with Cream body lotion

I love the formula of this and many of philosophy's lotions. It provides rich moisturization yet isn't greasy. Love it, love it, love it. This really does smell like peaches with maybe a little cream, but the scent just didn't catch me. I didn't *have* to have it like I do philosophy's aloha girl (vanilla and coconut scent). As for the the longevity of the fragrance, it lasted 10+ hours. Impressive.

Fragrances -Victoria's Secret - Pink with a Splash FRESH & CLEAN

This scent is just okay. I don't really smell the green apples and water lily. Also, it smells a little like men's cologne on me. Perhaps I just don't like "clean" scents, though. I didn't like philosophy's pure grace either. Overall, it's not a bad fragrance, but it's just not for me. The packaging also was leaking.

Styling Products -Dove - Body & Lift Volumizing Mousse

Eepers! This makes my hair so soft! It also provides moderate volume and light hold. No stickiness. No stiffness. It has a moderately strong, yet pleasant, Dove scent. I would've given it five lippies if it provided a slight bit more volume and hold. The softness is just a well appreciated bonus.

Shampoo -Dove - Cool Moisture Shampoo

This shampoo smells great. It has a cool, fresh scent, like candied cucumbers, with a slight crisp bite of green apple underneath. I got whiffs of the smell from my hair throughout the day, so the scent does last. It also kept my straight-ish, virgin, oily, fine hair from looking greasy and flat after a few hours. However, this shampoo also made my hair dull looking. I don't think it necessarily dried out my hair, but it just killed all reflectivity, and my hair is usually very shiny. Conditioner and shine products didn't help. Oh well, I'm back to using Johnson's Head-to-Toe Baby Wash for my shampoo. I'll use the cool moisture conditioner and spray the cool essentials body mist in my hair, so I'll still get the lovely fragrance.

Fragrances -Dove - Go Fresh Cucumber and Green Tea

This is a lovely body mist! I don't usually like fragrances, but bought this on a whim and am now on a mission to own the whole go fresh line because I enjoy it so much. This scent has even inspired me to give some other lines with similar scents chances, too. I don't know if it exactly has a "cucumber and green tea" scent, but it does have a very light, fresh, clean, cool scent with emphasis on the fresh and clean. Maybe it's the smell of candied cucumbers who just stepped out of the shower? When first sprayed, there is a strong sweet smell that I, at least, find overbearing, but it calms down quickly to that clean, cool base. It also pulls off the clean without being overly powdery or soapy, which is a plus. The reason I'm not so into fragrances is because many make me itchy and all around uncomfortable. This one doesn't or I wouldn't be using it. It doesn't seem to bother my sensitive skin at all. As for its longevity, I still smell a touch of this on my skin after spraying it lightly twelve hours earlier. I have a *very* sensitive nostrils, though. This also only pertains to its scent when applied to skin. I noticed the fragrance fades from fabric far more quickly. I highly doubt Dove go fresh body mist provides moisturization as it states it does on the bottle and online. 1) It's mainly composed of alcohol, and 2) since it sprays in such a fine mist, how much of that glycerin can you really be getting? Although Dove shouldn't be pretending this is a moisturizing product, I won't take off any lippies because this fragrance is what it is: a quite lovely body spray. Bottom line: Consider Dove go fresh body mist cool essentials cucumber and green tea scent if you're looking a for a subtle freshly washed fragrance at a good price. If you're scared of body sprays like I was, this may be a good starting point.

Polishes -OPI - Mermaid's Tears

I love this nail polish! Polish colors always look weird on me because I'm very pale, and my hands and feet always have a pink-to-purple cast. This color brightens and warms my skin tone enough that my purple undertone no longer looks weird. The polish looks bright, not pastel, on me probably also because I'm pale. The very slight grayish cast keeps it from going over the top. This polish has lasted for month on my toes, and that doesn't usually happen. The application was smooth. When I get a pedicure in a couple weeks, I'm bringing this polish with me. Love it!
