Lip Treatments -Unlisted Brand - The All Natural Face tinted lip balms

I have super-sensitive skin, including my lips, so I'm really picky about my lip products. I tried this on a whim since I was buying foundation, and so far, I'm really impressed! I have this in Warm Honey--it's a little more brown than I expected, but still a good neutral. The formula is very long-lasting and hasn't irritated my lips at all. I combine mine with a touch of cocoa butter lip balm to make it just a tad less waxy, and it works great. Can't wait to try more colors.

Powder -Unlisted Brand - The All Natural Face mineral foundation
rated 5 of 5

I tried this foundation after reading the positive reviews on here and after some less-than-impressive drugstore foundation attempts. I've been wearing The All Natural Face mineral foundation for about a week now and am very impressed! It's the best mineral foundation I've tried (I used EDM for a long time until they changed their formulas). TANF applies smoothly, blends perfectly, and doesn't cake. It lasts for all day wear, too. I'll definitely buy it again! I found that the "Porcelain Kissed by Honey" is a perfect match for my pale neutral skin--I'm not entirely a "warm" tone, but a bit ruddy with freckles, and it covers the ruddiness quite effectively. Shipping was prompt, and I'm excited to try more of their products!

Crème -Cover Girl - AquaSmooth SPF15 Make-up

Overall, I liked this foundation--it didn't irritate my super-sensitive skin, and the color (Ivory) was a nice match for my pale neutral skin. While it didn't necessarily hydrate my skin, it didn't dry it out and went on smoothly. I'd buy it again in a pinch, but it was just a tad too cakey for my tastes. It's definitely one of the better drugstore foundations that I've tried.

Foundations -Cover Girl - Natureluxe Liquid Silk Foundation
rated 2 of 5

While the smell of this product wasn't great, it didn't bother me as much as it did some other reviewers. My problem with this foundation was that it just didn't do much--it was a very thin formula and barely showed up on my face. It also made my skin feel itchy and irritated after a few days of use. All in all, it doesn't seem worth the hype nor the price.

Liquid -Physicians Formula - Youthful Wear Cosmeceutical Youth-Boosting Foundation

I had high hopes for this foundation, but unfortunately, my skin had other ideas. The second day I wore it, my face started to burn and itch, but I told myself it couldn't possibly be this foundation, as it was billed as "hypoallergenic." Well, my skin does not care about product advertisements, and it persisted in burning and itching for the next week. I skipped a day, had calm skin, then tried it again, only to have the same problem. Sigh. It's back to mineral foundation for me--the only stuff that doesn't drive my skin crazy! I will say that this foundation was long-lasting and a fairly good match for my pale neutral skin. So, if your skin isn't sensitive, it's worth a try.

Lipstick -Maybelline - Color Sensational The Porcelains- Afternoon Tea
rated 4 of 5

I tried this on a whim after attempting to find a gloss or lipstick that didn't irritate my lips, which seemed to be happy only when wearing the now-discontinued L'Oreal Colour Juice glosses. I'm happy to report that this lipstick was great--I wouldn't call it moisturizing, but it's creamy, stays on well, and doesn't irritate or dry out my lips. The color is a perfect MLBB for me! I think I may need to go stock up since it's a limited edition!

Lip Gloss -Silk Naturals - Lip Gloss- Liquid Wands in Rouge

I tried this gloss in St. Tropez--it's a great MLBB color and has just enough shine without too much sparkle. Unfortunately, it dried my lips out, so I had to stop using it.

Lip Gloss -Silk Naturals - Birthday Suit lip gloss
rated 3 of 5

I tried this gloss after reading the positive reviews and hoping that an all-natural product would be gentle on my lips, which are extremely sensitive. The best part of this gloss was the color, which was a perfect MLBB shade for me. It's a very creamy product; packaging is OK, but then again I care more about the content. Unfortunately, this one dried my lips out completely, so perhaps I'll be going the all-chemical route in the future!

Lip Gloss -Boots - Botanics Lip Gloss in Mallow
rated 2 of 5
bobitarocks 6/21/2012 1:51:00 PM

Searching for a replacement for my HG, the now discontinued L'Oreal Colour Juice glosses, I thought I'd try this product as I liked other Boots products I've tried. Unfortunately, while the Mallow color was great and the packaging nice, this gloss completely dried out my super-sensitive lips after only two applications. Such a shame! This one will be going back.
