Treatments (Eye) -Bobbi Brown - EXTRA Eye Repair Cream

I'm not gonna lie, I bought this after seeing some youtubers rave about it. Pros: very creamy, heavy, feels "luxurious", jar is very durable & sleek looking. Cons: didn't notice a ton of difference from cheaper eye creams, the pot is sorta inconvenient & not travel friendly. For the price, I won't buy it again. I think Kheil's avocado eye cream is just as good... and I like Olay regenerist eye serum a lot better. If you're 21 and want a brand name eye cream, this is for you... if you're trying to keep the fine lines/dark circles away and you're trying to conserve money, then look elsewhere.

Shampoo -Tressa - Watercolors Shampoo in Molten Bronze

I have naturally auburn hair that started going grey around my 30th bday. My stylist uses Framesi color glaze on my hair since it's only about 10% grey... trying to avoid the damage of real dye. Red hair is a pain to maintain but I use this after about 3-4 week mark in conjunction w Aveda Madder Root Conditioner... and it does a great job of disguising the greys peeking through. I'd leave it on for 3 minutes or so. Also, I have dry coarse hair so I only wash my hair every 3-4 days so maybe that's why it helps? Not sure if it's an everyday shampoo for you oily hair girls.

Conditioner -Aveda - Madder Root Conditioner

I started dying my hair when I started noticing greys around my 30th bday. I just have my stylist match my natural auburn color. Normally am not high maintenance w hair but knowing how difficult red coloring is to maintain, I was recommended this conditioner to keep color fresh longer. This stuff works if you use it in conjunction with other color safe products. I use it w Tressa Watercolors in Molten Bronze shampoo - another color maintenance product. Tips - leave this conditioner on for 5-7 minutes, and maybe use a shower cap. I also mix some Macadamia Nut conditioner with it, as I don't feel like it's conditioning enough for my very coarse hair. It's probably fine for normal hair!

Treatments -It's a 10 - Miracle Leave in Product
rated 1 of 5

For the record I *NEVER* return cosmetics or hair products... I can always pawn them off on a friend, sis in law or my mom. This stuff was so bad that I returned it the next day. I love leave-in conditioners, my dry/coarse hair live for them...I used as directly but this stuff made my hair tacky and sticky - it was awful. I wanted to take a shower immediately just to get it off my hair. Total waste of money.

Shampoo -Batiste - Original Dry Shampoo
rated 4 of 5

This is a great dry shampoo. I was using Rockstar or something and then I tried Treseme (ugh!) but this is the best I've found. The smell isn't offensive, and it doesn't leave any residue or white powder afterwards. I use as directed and shake well, apply to roots and then work into scalp and brush out... it def "refreshes" my hair in the AM after 2-3 days without washing. I usually either apply a volumizer or use a blow dryer to quickly give my hair some volume!

Polishes -Butter London - Primrose Hill Picnic
rated 4 of 5
bluegreyeyes 6/13/2012 4:12:00 PM

This is such a great wearable neon pink. It's an intense and hot bubble gum pink...I'd say w/blue-ish undertones. The formula is very thick but you do need to apply 2-3 coats. I feel like these polishes stay on a good 4-5 days before chipping if you let them dry properly and put a good topcoat on. The price is sorta steep.

Blush -MAC - Matte Blush - Bite Of An Apple (Venomous Villains)

This is a great blush... it's very harsh in the pan but applied lightly and sheered out it can really work on some skintones. I usually use in conjunction with a more "wearable" color during the day... at night, esp if photos will be taken, I wear it layered on top of a red cheek stain and it comes off as a perfect but stronger flush. I'm NC25 for reference and wear it winter & summer. It's LE but I did see it in CCO during spring 2012.

Palettes -Too Faced - Naked Eye Kit
rated 4 of 5
bluegreyeyes 6/13/2012 4:04:00 PM

LOVE this and I got it on sale at Ulta during their Beauty Deals or whatever. Probably use it more than my Urban Decay Naked pallette. I love how this has the colors sorta "set out" in day/evening/office.. frankly, I just love the color selections. The light grey one on the top line is great, it's so unique. And the black shadow is great as a liner...i use my MAC pencil brush and use it as a soft smokey daytime liner. The packaging is meh, but whatever.

Blush -MAC - My Highland Honey (A Tartan Tale Holiday '10)
rated 4 of 5
bluegreyeyes 6/13/2012 10:05:00 AM

LOVE THIS. I'm NC25 for reference. I can get super tan in the summer (altho my face is usually never more than NC25-30) and I'm pretty pale in winter but this color works both seasons. It gives a really nice peachy glow to cheeks and works well with my dark auburn hair and blue eyes. Maybe this is a color that you need the right coloring for but I adore it! Too bad it's LE.

Treatments -Clinique - Repairwear Laser Focus Wrinkle and UV Damage Corrector
rated 2 of 5
bluegreyeyes 6/13/2012 10:02:00 AM

A friend gave this to me b/c she works for the company and wanted me to try it out. She insisted that it worked. Honestly, I have my doubts about that but then again, I really didn't use it twice a day the way it says you should...so maybe user error. If you really need to use it twice a day then it's just a really high maintenance product so I wouldn't buy again for that reason. The packaging really annoyed me....why a dropper? I didn't get it at all. The consistency is super watery and for me, that's annoying in an expensive product... I get that it's a gel like serum but it didn't even really "sink" into my skin at all. I wasn't impressed at all.

Lip Treatments -La Mer - Lip Balm
rated 4 of 5
bluegreyeyes 6/13/2012 9:59:00 AM

Ok, so while I really enjoy this product, I can't say I'd repurchase b/c the price tag is pretty steep. My friend gave me a free sample of this b/c she works for the company and had an extra.... I use it at night and it's a nice lightweight lip balm. Not waxy, not oily, not artificial... very comfortable but definitely not something I'd use if I had chapped lips or during a ski trip, ya know? I don't see it repairing well (for that I use Jack Black, love..HG) but for a nightly use or in the AM before lipstick, it's very spa like or something.

Skincare - Face -Unlisted Brand - Dickinson's Witch Hazel
rated 5 of 5
bluegreyeyes 6/13/2012 9:55:00 AM

Love this stuff and it lasts forever, and it's so cheap. I use it every morning and I feel like it kinda balances out my skin tone or something. Also, I feel like my skin isn't quite as oily as it has been...and no breakouts (knock on wood). The smell is reallyyy pungent when you first start using it, I almost threw it out b/c of the smell but you def get used to it. It reminds me of really strong soy sauce, lol.

Hair -Unlisted Brand - MACADAMIA NATURAL OIL Deep Repair Mask
rated 4 of 5
bluegreyeyes 6/13/2012 9:52:00 AM

Love this line of products, esp this deep repair masque. My hair is naturally coarse but this stuff does a great job of taming it and keep it super soft. I use it 1x a week after Joico Chelating shampoo and it works wonderful, my hair feels like silk the next day! It's a bit pricey but since I only use it once a week I figure it should last awhile. Leave it on for about 5 min in a shower cap and it'll reallyyyyy moisturizes your hair. I like the packaging... those pump conditioners can be really annoying and waste a lot of product!

Moisturizers -Alpha Hydrox - 10% Enhanced Cream
rated 4 of 5
bluegreyeyes 6/13/2012 9:48:00 AM

This stuff is nice... it's a great creamy consistency and glides right on my skin before I go to sleep. It never irritated my skin or caused a breakout. In fact, my skin feels great when I use this stuff... I also pair w/Cerave PM for a little extra moisture. It's cheap too!

Treatments (Eye) -Kiehls - Line Reducing Eye-Brightening Concentrate
rated 1 of 5
bluegreyeyes 6/13/2012 9:46:00 AM

I love Kiehls and been using their products since I was 16. Sadly, this was a big ol' miss. I had gone to Nordstroms for the avocado eye cream but the sales girl talked me into this stuff.... big mistake. It did nothing - seriously. I used the entire tube of it and really didn't notice anything different.... it sorta stung in the beginning but I couldn't tell why. It's an oily serum consistency and comes in a super tiny tube, I applied at night a tiny amount for both eyes. Nothing. I later purchased the Kiehl's avocado eye treatment and liked that much more... it felt luxurious and actually hydrated my eye area!
