Eyeliner -L'Oreal - Infallible Eye Liner - All Colors

I love how black this liner is and literally glides on effortlessly. The bonus part is that it comes with a smudger and sharpener at the other end. Staying power I found was decent as it did stay on my eyes til the end of the day. But that's about it. This liner was literally a smudge fest on my eyes. By the end of the day I found that it had literally transferred to the bottom of my eyes leaving me with rings under my eye.It would start to slip/slide around if I got sweaty or a bit oily. I tried this on my waterline and it smudged right off once i blinked a couple times. This wasn't exactly cheap either I got it at Walmart for around $11 (in Canada). I tried using primer before hand and it helped a little, but it still left me with raccoon eyes. The smudger doesn't really do that great of a job either. If you just want to slightly smudge it so it's a softer line, it would work. But anything more than that it won't do as it is rubber and will tug at your eyelid the liner formula will barely budge. I tried to use this liner for a smokey eye look and it turned into a disaster. I won't be repurchasing.

Polishes -OPI - Birthday Babe
bluedevil108 7/27/2012 12:44:00 AM
I love this polish, and I normally don't purchase OPI but I saw this at a night market 2 for $10 so I couldn't pass up, plus ironically it was my birthday. Like many have already said this is a frosty shimmery silver, like a pure silver not grey. To me it looks like Tiffany Jewellery silver and absolutely gorgeous on most skin tones. I wouldn't exactly call it super sheer, as I can wear it with literally only one coat if I just want to be subtle, but with 2 coats it's opaque and makes a bold statement. To make it super stand out 3 coats would do, as I have gotten many compliments wearing this polish. This stays on for the longest time and I find that I've never had this chip on me. It actually fades rather than chip like it has been rubbed off. This usually lasts me for a week before it starts "fading" or sometimes if I'm lucky and more careful it can last me up to 2 weeks. Application was a breeze as it is the wide brush making it easy. It can be streaky like most frosty finish polishes, so you have to be careful but not really a big problem as long as you have a steady hand. I would definitely repurchase!

Polishes -Revlon - Peach Petal #115
bluedevil108 7/27/2012 12:35:00 AM
When I put this on I thought it would actually be a peachy pink, but it turned out more to be a soft baby pink.. or like some others have said a strawberry pink, which is a bit misleading. BUT i do love the color very much, if you like nudes, then you might like it. However, I will not be repurchasing as this goes on so streaky, there is no way for me to get rid of the streaks. It also took me 3-4 coats to get a decent opaque color, not to mention drying time was a pain, it took me almost an hour for it to actually dry and if I wasn't careful while it was wet it would literally peel off. As much as I hated the application this stayed on for an amazing long time as I have found in almost all my revlon polishes. This actually lasted me about 2 weeks with minimal chipping if not any at all. Price wise I got it dirt cheap at some market for only $2, but I saw that the regular prices here in Canada were about $7. Which I would normally say is worth it for most revlon polishes as they do last long and have great colors, but I wouldn't really pay $7 for this polish in particular. SUMMMARY PROS - although not really peachy still a really pretty color - amazing staying power (no chipping) CONS - terrible streaky application - takes forever to dry - 3-4 coats to even get an opaque color
