Eye Shadow -Cargo - Duo- Nevada
bluebonnet117 2/23/2006 4:02:00 PM
This is my favorite duo that I own! And my favorite gold shadows. Yes, they are pretty ordinarly colors (light and darker gold), but I think that is why I love them so much. When I don't know what eyeshadow to wear, or just want a simple, neutral eye I reach for this duo. (and looks fab w/ sue devitt's tanzinia pencil). A definite for blue eyed gals. For those who haven't tried cargo eye shadow, they go on smoothly and can be built up with caking. I use UD PP and they stay on all day.

Eye Shadow -Cargo - ColorCards
bluebonnet117 2/23/2006 3:58:00 PM
I know, I know, these got a lot of negative feedback on the boards when they first came out-like why would you pay for samples?? But I'm a cargo fan and this contained some of their brighter, "fun" colors that I wouldn't have bought separetly but still wanted to try. There are 7 colors and each color has 4 cards-as one review said earlier-credit card sized. I've gotten multiple uses from each "card". You actualy get value for the amount of money you pay, and it's a wonderful way to try out a new brand or slightly crazy colors.

Eye Shadow -Cargo - Duo ~ Kentucky
bluebonnet117 2/23/2006 3:52:00 PM
Cargo is one of my favorite brands in general, and I really like their eye shadows. I wanted to break out from my normal "safe" colors, and got it in my head I needed some greens! The colors in Kentucky are cooler greens, one being greyish lighter green, the other a darker green. (I don't really have any other greens so I can't compare these colors). I find cargo shadows to apply smoothly and can be built up without caking. They wear well for me but I always use UD PP. I have several cargo items and haven't had any problems with the tin packaging.

Lipstick -Stila - high shine in Linda
bluebonnet117 2/23/2006 3:07:00 PM
Love this lipstick! So far I have 5 high shines, and didn't wear this one much after I got it....I think because it looks like a dark brown in the tube. Well once I got around to wearing it, I can't stop! The high shines are sheer yet moisturizing, and have a great vanilla smell which I love. As mentioned Linda looks dark brown in the tube but "melts" into lips as a MLBB color-medium, mauvey pink. It does have a ton of shimmer, but sometimes that's what a girl wants.....

Lipstick -Stila - High Shine in Electra [DISCONTINUED]
bluebonnet117 2/23/2006 3:01:00 PM
I really like the new high shines (I have 5!). Of the ones I have electra is more of a "stain"-ie it doesn't have the shimmery particals the others have, but it's still shiny. The color looks very, very dark puprle tube in the tube but goes on sheer. On me it kinda melts into a light plum/mauve color. The high shines are all sheer and smell vanilla-y (but not too overpowering). For being a sheer lipstick they seem to last through *some* drinking, and when they wear off they level some color behind.

Blush -Cargo - Molokai
bluebonnet117 11/28/2005 1:00:00 PM
In general, I think cargo blushes are great. Molokai is my 4th one, and I am so happy with it. I wanted something that looked like I wasn't wearing blush, so no bright colors, no shimmer. On my fair-medium skin it just looks like a glow, but without that obvious "I'm wearing blush" look. I was a little scared of the orange-ness, but it goes on peachy neutral (and I have pink undertones. It almost tones the pink down). I'm not sure if molokai is a perfect color for everyone but for me it was just what I was looking for. and if you haven't tried a cargo blush, the texture is smooth and silky, pigmentation is excellent, and they stay on throughout the day.

Eye Primer -Urban Decay - Eyeshadow Primer Potion - Original (UDPP)
bluebonnet117 9/1/2004 12:06:00 PM
I've been wanting to try an eyeshadow base for a long time, but I didn't know which one. (I thought about LM, PD, paints) I really like my UD eyeshadows, so when I saw the primer potion I was very interested....I read reviews here and knew I had to have it. It is everything I hoped it would be! I didn't think I had oily lids, but by the end of the day most of my e/s was gone....but not now with the primer potion! My eye makeup stayed on easily for 14 hours, and still looked fresh-amazing. I apply by dotting a small amount on my lid and blending with my finger. It feels very lightweight, and once I start blending I can't even see it it's so sheer. I picked this up at Nordstroms for a mere $14--so I will definately be repurchasing.

Lipstick -Delux Beauty - Tintstick [DISCONTINUED]
bluebonnet117 8/26/2004 4:19:00 PM
I have this in Pinky, which is very pink! it is almost fuschia on me. (which is OK since I bought it to wear in the summer). I like that it does contain SPF, but it is too dry. The reason I won't repurchase it that I like stila's color clears much better--they are more moisturizing, smell/taste better, and give a little shine. The tintstick makes me look like I just ate a popcicle--sheer color and a matte finish.

Mascara -Cover Girl - Multiplying Mascara
bluebonnet117 6/4/2004 1:01:00 PM
I love this mascara! In the past year I tried Px and Mac, and tried this on a whim. It is so much better than either of the department store brands, and MUCH cheaper. This is the first mascara I've repurchased in a very long time. After I started using multiplying I got so many comments on how long and pretty my lashes are.....that's enough for me!

Lip Treatments -Cargo - Hydratint
bluebonnet117 7/10/2003 12:26:00 PM
I agree with other reviews so far, this lipstick is very sheer. If I don't use lipliner it hardly shows up at all. I have Rhine, and if I use mac's plum liner I get a sheer, shimmery mauve color. If I use spice, the color is more coppery rose with shimmer (I wear Px traceless level 2). Overalll, the feel of the lipstick on is OK, but my lips do feel a little dry once it starts to wear off. I might (that's why I put yes) purchase this product again if I saw a really unusual color. It is not the worst lipstick I've tried, but it also is not the best.

Lips -Stila - Sport Clear Colour in Nude
bluebonnet117 7/8/2003 12:32:00 PM
I was looking for a tinted lipbalm with SPF...decided on the color clear and I am very pleased. They feel good, smell great (vanilla), and the color nude is perfect for summer. Gives my lips just a slight shimmer and looks natural, not too pink (like blistex). I wish they contained a little more product for the price, but I won't complain too much. I actually liked the first one I bought so much I got another color a few days later!

Lip Gloss -Cargo - Lipgloss- Xai Xai
bluebonnet117 7/8/2003 12:27:00 PM
The color is very sheer, but I still like it. The staying power is average--if I use lipliner. I like that it is not as sticky as some other lip glosses. And I also like that you get 2 colors in large amounts for one price.

Eyeliner -Tarte - Double ended eyeliner
bluebonnet117 4/7/2003 2:49:00 PM
I thought the concept of a double ended eyeliner was great, and I was so excited to try this product. I got the black/plum, and right away loved the colors. However, I will not buy this product again since the first time I tried to sharpen it, the pencil broke. Well, I liked the plum so much, I was determined to make it work. The next time I needed to sharpen the pencil, I ended up using up almost the ENTIRE product to get a point that didn't break off. very disappointed!! I feel like I wasted $20.
