Mascara -Revlon - Photoready 3D Volume

Bought this on a whim at Walmart mainly because it is waterproof. It did nothing for my lashes other than tint them a light black. Waste of $8.

Blush -MAC - Azalea
rated 5 of 5

Great blue toned pink blush especially for fair skin. If you use Azalea with a super light hand, it will give you a natural flush without looking like a clown. The pan will last FOREVER because it is about the most pigmented product I've ever seen!

Highlighters -MAC - Pro Cream Colour Base- Pink Shock

The perfect blue toned hot pink! I am very fair and this makes a beautiful blush when used sparingly. I apply with my fingers. Its a pro color, but it is available on the MAC website. Love it!

Eye Shadow -MAC - Paint Pot in Soft Ochre
rated 3 of 5

Soft Ochre leans a little yellow on me, otherwise it's a great primer for eye shadow. Not a fan of how fast they seem to dry up though.

Primer/ Corrector -MAC - Prep + Prime Face Protect SPF 50
rated 4 of 5
bloodymerry52 5/17/2013 8:51:00 PM

I have the one w/o the SPF. This is a great primer. I use it in place of my moisturizer (good or bad?) and maybe it's just my skin being weird, but when I apply it, my face turns red for a minute or two after. It also leaves little sparkles on my fingers. I have noticed that my foundation & powder look nicer when I use this. I just like it because it makes a smooth surface for my makeup. A must have in my kit.

Polishes -MAC - Mean & Green
rated 3 of 5
bloodymerry52 5/17/2013 8:47:00 PM

Purpley green shimmery polish. I like the formula of MAC polishes, this just was not my shade. It's crazy pigmented even just with one coat the color was very true.

Lipstick -MAC - Blankety

Nice pinky nude. Feels nice on the lips, not drying. I'm NC15 and sometimes I need to use a colored gloss over top so I don't look washed out. Looks great paired with smoky eyes.

Blush -MAC - Mineralize Skinfinish - Porcelain Pink
rated 4 of 5
bloodymerry52 5/17/2013 8:34:00 PM

PP is a gorgeous light pink highlighter! I'm NC15, and it makes my cheekbones glow! It is lighter than MAC Blonde MSF, and has a more "natural" sheen too. PP is one that will always remain in my stash :)

Blush -MAC - Mineralize Skinfinish in Blonde Degradé
rated 4 of 5
bloodymerry52 5/17/2013 8:27:00 PM

I received Blonde in a swap, and I love it! I am NC15, and it is great for someone with fair skin IMO. I've used it both as a blush and a highlighter. You can use the lightest stripe of pink all the way up to the darkest one in the pan. Or just swirl them all together. I love all of the MSFs so much :)

Conditioner -Pantene - Expert Collection Age Defy Conditioner
rated 1 of 5
bloodymerry52 5/17/2013 7:20:00 PM

My hair: very thick hair, length is past my bra strap, and color treated. The pretty black packaging sucked me in! Pantene conditioners usually work very well for my hair (particularly the deep conditioning masks) but this one did not work. It basically made my hair flat and YUCK. I've used it for about a week straight thinking it might get better. I used it with John Frieda highlight enhancing shampoo for darker blondes, if that matters. When you squirt it into your hand, it is very thick, and reminded me of a clay facial mask. The smell was unusual too. When I rinsed it out, my hair had NO slip at all! So I blow dried it, and the result was flat, gross looking hair. Needless to say, my hair ended up in a bun that day :( I'll stick to what I typically use from Pantene, and will not repurchase.

Treatments -Lancome - Visionnaire [LR 2412 4%]
rated 1 of 5

Got a sample from GWP. I had high hopes for this product. I used it for about a week, then it broke me out in little pimples. It was the only thing new I added to my routine, so I know it was this. YUCK.

Concealers -Maybelline - Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circles
rated 5 of 5
bloodymerry52 5/16/2013 8:31:00 AM

I'm about half way thru my first bottle of this. I'm super fair, and I bought the shade Fair. I bought it because Tiffany D used it in some of her videos. It is excellent at covering the shadowy areas under my eyes. I apply it in a triangle shape, then blend with a Sigma F86, just like Tiffany. It brightens up my under eye area, and blends flawlessly. Just be mindful not to apply too much, or it could crease. (I set it with Laura Mercier Secret Brightening Powder.) I think I paid around $8 for it, but I will most definitely repurchase! I hope they don't discontinue it!

Mascara -Lancome - Hypnose Doll Lashes
rated 1 of 5
bloodymerry52 5/16/2013 8:26:00 AM

Worst mascara I've ever used. It made my lashes spidery. Not to mention the $30 price tag. I can't bring myself to throw it out because I just bought it, but I suppose it might work in a pinch. Just not one I reach for. Def will NOT repurchase.

Mascara -Maybelline - The Rocket Volume Express
rated 4 of 5
bloodymerry52 5/16/2013 8:21:00 AM

This is a pretty good mascara if you're looking for volume. Doesn't clump. Very black. I'm not fond of the brush because the bristles are kind of sharp. The brush reminds me of the Lash Blast one, very similar shape. The way I use it gives nice results. Curl lashes, apply 1 coat of MAC Prep & Prime Lash, 2 coats of Rocket, 1 coat of MAC Gigablack Lash. (I personally wouldn't use Rocket on lower lashes.) I follow with the MAC #205 Mascara Fan Brush to separate the lashes and go thru any clumps. I like the blue/pink packaging. I would repurchase when I run out.

Misc Beauty Tools -MAC - Powder Puff
rated 5 of 5
bloodymerry52 5/16/2013 7:03:00 AM

This powder puff feels very luxurious, and the results it gives are AMAZING!! It is very thick and has the MAC satin band for you to slide your fingers through. It arrived in a sealed sterile pouch. My powder does NOT stain the puff, but I would imagine if you use a darker shade, it might stain. I use it with MAC MSFN in Light. I just lightly tap the puff into my powder, then press it into my skin. It just makes my skin literally look airbrushed, and seems to fill in pores and acne scars (not the pigmentation scars, I'm talking the deep pitted ones). It is $12, and I'm surprised it doesn't cost more! I need to buy a few for backups. You can also use a fluffy powder brush to dust away any excess. I just cannot say enough good things about this product! I will never go back to using a powder brush. If you are looking for an airbrushed look to your makeup, I would highly recommend this puff!
