I'm in love! I have a pretty dry face (lots of little patches of areas that flake constantly) and acne prone skin. I'm NC30/35 and got the color Agent 08 which is just perfect for my skin tone and covers up my old acne scars. The darker acne scars I do use some concealer for extra coverage. I apply my regular daily face cream before applying this on top. I have been using this for a while and have not encountered any breakouts/irritation from it. I'm so happy that I came across smooth operator for days I can't wear liquid/and or powder foundation due to my face peeling. And especially those days when I'm simply to lazy or have little time to get my makeup on :)
I love this lipstick. This the first time I've tried a Too Faced l/s and so far am really enjoying the formula. Staying power is decent, I feel it lasts as long as any of my MAC l/s. I have noticed that if you apply too much it can cake as, so be a bit sparing especially on the bottom lip...to avoid the caking I'd apply with a lip brush. The color is gorgeous It's a bit bronzing but not OTT. To me it leans more towards a darker nude if that makes sense. This could be very dark on someone who doesn't already have pretty pigmented lips. I feel I can actually wear this color everyday with my skin tone (NC30 with really pale cheeks) regardless of how light or heavy my eyemakeup is. I can't complain about the price b/c I picked it up for $6 at Nordstrom Rack, but will def purchase again at regular price :)
Lip Gloss -E.L.F. - Luscious Liquid Lipstick in Maple Sugar

I'm so impressed by this ELF product! I've tried Stila lip glazes in apricot and brown sugar. Stila are nice l/g's but I didn't feel the quality and quantity matched the price tag at all. With Maple Syrup I was so pleased to find it had great staying power and the color were great (NC30). Yes you will go through it rather quickly because you don't get a whole lot of product but at a dollar It's not a problem. I will repurchase again!
This is eyeshadow id from the Starflash collection. It's a pale yellow with a bit of shimmer. It's not the most pigmented eyeshadow from the entire collection. I mainly use this all over the lid. It didn't work for me as a highlight (NC30) which was the main reason I purchased it for. But the texture and blandability of this eyeshadow is fantastic! Will not be repurchasing b/c it's LE.
Such a unique color! This is my favorite out of all the gray eye shadows I have. It's incredibly versatile, I love how it looks with Satin Taupe. For me Silverthorn stood out the most out of the Rose Romance collection. I will be purchasing a backup of this very soon.
Eye Shadow -MAC - Talent Pool - Starflash Collection

This is my favorite e/s from the Starflash collection.I would describe this as light-medium blue. It's a bit bright but not overwhelming at all. The color is buildable to make it a bit darker/brighter. Blends easily like all the other e/s's from this collection. I wear this on my crease with Tilt of Phloof on the lid. Of all the blue MAC e/s's that I own this is hands down my favorite! I will be purchasing a back up from CCO to avoid ebay prices :)
This is my first pink shade lipstick EVER. I've always been intimidated by pink toned lipsticks, but Fast Play is a nude pink that is incredibly wearable. The amplified cream finish is a bonus to me! I will repurchase this in the future. For reference I'm C4/NC30.
This is a matte plummy brown shade. I've always stayed away from plums and burgundys for the fear that I could never pull off those colors. Was I wrong! I've become a complete fan of this color. I use this in my crease or in my outer v. It's a great change from grays and browns for when I do smokey eye. This color looks very blah in the pot but you have to swatch it to really see how deep a shade this is. I will re-purchase this in the future. For reference I'm C4/NC30.
I'm completely in love with this shade! It's a gorgeous dull mauve-plum shade with an extremely subtle shimmer (Satin). It's a very cool toned shade that's perfect for daytime or at work. It's not a dramatic color at all, but perfect for a light look. I usually pair this color with blackberry or satin taupe for a fantastic smokey look that's work appropriate. I agree with other reviewers that this color would be more flattering on cooler skin tones. I will repurchase this color again. For reference I'm C4/NC30.
The first time I put this on, I knew it had to go back to the store. I found that it did give my lashes volume and some length. The volume was not worth the amount of clumpiness this caused on my lashes. I used a mascara comb to separate my lashes to rid some of the clumpiness, which did help...but imo too much work for just mascara. If you're curious about this mascara, try it at the MU counter first and just walk around with it on for a couple of hours. I noticed mine started to fade after 4 hours. It's not worth the price, you can get a much better quality mascara from a drugstore brand at a fraction of the cost.
In the pan this color looked kinda meh to me, like any other lavendar color...nothing special. But I swatched it out of curiosity and was really surprised at how pigmented it actually was. I tried it with UDPP and combined it with graphology in the crease and absolutely loved how easy it was to blend. I feel all the colors from starflash collection are so smooth and very blendable. If this color is re-promoted in the future I would purchase again. NC30/35.
This has instantly became on of my favorite e/s's. It's matte and like other reviewers have stated its a dark blue/green color that will work on any skin tone imo. It's blendable, but it does take a bit more time than with other e/s finishes. I love pairing this with newly minted on inner lid and plumage on the outer third. I use this color very often as a eyeliner for my upper/lower lids. Don't be intimidated by the dark color in the pan, give it a try! (NC30-35)
I was so excited to purchase this and the shadestick in butternutty. Cakeshop looked so pretty when I swatched it on my hand...very vibrant greenish-gray at the MAC counter. I brought it home and tried it on my eyes. It was chalky on my lids...and not as bright as it had appeared on my hand. I put the Club (part of the sugar sweet collection/permanent line) e/s on top of it which made it look ok (no major pop in color imo)....since Club is already a darker color, I felt Cakeshop was unnecessary with it. I think Cakeshop makes a better eyeliner than an all over lid color/base. I wished this shadestick had worked out for me :( but I will be returning this. (NC30-35)
Eye Shadow -MAC - Go - Starflash Collection ] [DISCONTINUED]
blink1217 3/14/2009 5:39:00 AM
Such a stunning e/s! Applies very smoothly and perfect for smokey eye effect. This is very similar to Urban Decay's Smog e/s. Go is actually a bit darker than Smog. I wished I had discovered all of the starflash shadows before becoming discontinued. Thank goodness for CCO!
Brilliant color! Another find at CCO...I will be going back to get a backup of this color! Looking at this color was a bit intimidating because it looks so incredibly dark. But after swatching it at the store it was just a gorgeous frosty brown with a bit of bronzey-ness to it. I loved how it looked after I applied. I'm NC30-35, and usually can't pull off a brown lipstick color, but this just worked. If you see this at your CCO give it a try :)
