I am so upset by the quality of this polish! Like everyone else, Ive been on this "Nude" polish obsession, and while I absolutley love the color, I HATE the application. It's thick and streaky. I couldn't get it to look nice even with all the patience in the world. I don't know anything about thinners (how they work or where to get them) however, when I spend nearly $8 on a polish, I should have to purchase yet another product to make it work. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.
I am so disappointed! This is my 1st Orly nail polish and the only reason I shelled out the cash for this was cause I loved the color so much. But like the others have said, the application is horrible! It super THICK and globby and really makes a mess. I did end up making it look nice the 1st time I used it, but it took 10 x longer then any other manni I've given myself. Anyone know if a good dupe with better formula? (I already own OPI Mod about You)
Brows -Anastasia Of Beverly Hills - Anastasia Brow Powder

I have been using this product everyday for almost 2 years in the color Ash Brown and I have only now hit pan! I only use the lighter side because even though my brows are dark, they are not as dark as the darker color. This powder is great for a more natural look that lasts all day. I highly recommend it and will repurchase when I finally run out :)
I looooove this oil! I have combination skin that gets really patchy is some areas and no lotion will help fix it. This oil will keep my face soft and moist for days. Ive tried other oils, including avacodo and jojoba, and while those all work fine, I like argan oil the most cause it seems to absorbs fastest, and it has no scent. The only argan oil i've ever tried is the Jose Maran, so I can not say it there's a cheaper dupe..but either way the product is wonderful :)
I HATE this dry shampoo! It doesnt make my hair fresh or less oily at all. In fact, this makes the texture of my hair feel even worse! I followed the directions exactly and it was still terrible. I have yet to find a dry shampoo that will actually make my hair less oily. If anyone can recommend one that actually works, please let me know :)
Bath Treatments -LUSH - Sex in the Shower Emotibomb

Sadly, this is one of the first things I have ever purchased from lush after hearin so many great reviews of this company. I am sooo disappointed. I loved the smell of this and could wait for it to fill my shower with its loveliness-but that didnt happen. It fizzled like an alka seltzer and that was about it. I couldnt smell anything unless i stuck my face down into it. :-( Will never waste my money on one of these ever again!
Lipstick -Yves Saint Laurent - Rouge Volupte #2 Sensual Silk / Blond Sensuel

OMG!! This is my absolute #1 HG Lippie of all time!! I have tried so many lipsticks-from high end to drug store and none can even come close to to this one. I am obsessed with the perfect nude shade and this is it. It's a pale pink nude that is very pigmented. I have very red lips and one small swipe covers them without having to use concealer. And talk about moisturizing! This lipstick is so smooth. LOVE!! Worth every penny :)
I looooove this color! This is the first OPI color i've ever so much in love with. You only need to coats to make this look great. The only thing I'm a bit disappointed with is that when swatched next to "yes I can can" they are almost identical. So if you own "yes I can can" I'd skip out out on this one
I got this @my cco and it is such a pretty shade that i bought 2! Its a really pretty nude pinky color. Not at all stick like the dazzle glasses. The only thing that bummed meis that it looks veeeeeerrrry simular to the 2n lipsloss. Is a slight more on the pinky side, but still very close. I still love it though :)
Fragrances -Thierry Mugler - Alien Liqueur de Parfum

I dont own this perfume, but I one day hope to! I was at nordstrom, and while my friend was getting her makeup done @ the mac counter I browsed some of the counters. One of the sales ladies asked me what perfumes I like and told her a few I own she said I had to smell this. OMG! I looove this scent. She gave me a sample and I used it every day till it was up. I'm not very good at describing scents, but if you like clean, fresh kind of smells I suggest you check this out!
Blush -E.L.F. - Contouring Blush & Bronzing Powder
blackrose7816 11/10/2009 7:10:00 PM
I'm really impressed with elf's studio line! I purchased a few things and really love the packaging on everything. When i saw a picture of this product on this website I know I had to give it a try-b/c it did look soo much like the nars duo. I really love it. The colors are very pigmented, but easy to blend. The only reason I didnt give this 5 lippies is because I feel like the bronzer is a little too dark for my fair skin (nw20) but it looks lovely when i do my "tanner" friends makeup. I will most def continue to repurchase this :-)
Makeup Brushes -Ecotools - bamboo eye shading brush

I've this set set for about a year now and it is alright. Pro's: -EXTREMELY soft -Nice variety -Well made I like it, but idk..its just not the best brush set i've ever tried. I feel like it needs a few more brushes in there to make it more complete. Atleast a foundation and a blending brush. Overall, not bad-would recommend for beginners.
I was so excited to see E.l.f at a beauty supply store by me. They had a few brushes including the foundation brush for only $1 (not the studio line) so ofcorse for that cheap i had to get it.- What a waste! If I had know it'd be this bad I would not have spent 5cents on this thing. It is not dense at all! It is soooo flimsy. There are not enough bristles. The only positive thing about this was that it was very soft and did only cost $1. If you're looking for a cheap, high end quality foundation brush I highly recommend the Essence of Beauty foundation brush found at CVS
Loose Powders -E.L.F. - Studio High Definition Powder

I dont really know what to make of this product yet. I have never used any other translucent powder, so I have nothing to compare it to, but when I put this on my face over my foundation..I dont see anything different. Is it just suppose to help set your makeup and thats it? Other reviewers said it made them look polished and wonderful after applying, but I didnt notice any difference. And I like how the packaging looks-but it is an awful mess! Everytime I open that thing powder goes EVERYWHERE!! Does anyone else have this problem??
I didn't know what foundation to purchase, only that I didn't want full coverage or anything with a shine to it, as I prefer my foundations to be matte. I told all that to the girl at my local sephora-and this is was she recommends. I thought it was cool that it "matches" your skin tone. Even if you get 3 shades darker it's suppose to adjust itself to that and blend right in. I thought-- perfect! There's nothing about this foundation that I really care for. I don't find the coverage to be very good (I apply this with a 190 brush) and it is def not matte! I def has a shine to it-which does not work with my combo skin. I recently got MUFE Matte Velvet+ from a swap and I am loving it! I will not be repurchasing this one!
