Palettes -Too Faced - Matte Eye

OMG I LOVE this palette! This is my first Too Faced palette ever. I fell in love immediately with the 2nd row: Pebbles (gray) and London Fog (deep blue). They are such beautiful colors that I saved up and bought the palette. I've used it a lot since -the shadows are smooth, soft colors, easy to blend, and feel like butter. Honestly they're such great quality shadows! I have received so many compliments when wearing these. They stay on perfectly with primer and they're just SO easy to apply. They're amazing and they are beautiful matte colors! I love this palette A LOT!! The only thing I wish it'd have is a mirror. Oh and getting the instructions out of the lid is such a pain.

Treatments -Essie - apricot cuticle oil

I love it, I've been using it every night since. It does wonders to my cuticles -I have very dry and nasty cuticles due to washing dishes without gloves, dry Canadian winters.... etc... Even Vaseline can't solve my dry cuticles. This Essie Apricot Oil totally did the trick. I have beautiful cuticles now and I'm so happy! It's easy to apply, has a faint pleasant smell, and it's greasy (I agree) but I actually leave the oil on my fingers without rubbing it in to get maximum moisturization! woo woo!

Lipstick -Maybelline - Color Sensational High Shine Fruit Punch

It's discontinued I think!! It's not in stores anymore gosh darn it. I use Fruit Punch every single day, it's not the best quality lipstick and it's pretty drying... it also disappears after a long day. But it's so affordable and isn't a dramatic red (like a lot of the high-end red lipsticks). I'd describe this as.... the perfect red lipstick, just toned down. It also has a bit of shimmer. I love love love it. I have about 1cm left and I cannot find it anywhere in stores! I REALLY don't want to look for another!! This is my HG right now!

Makeup Brushes -Quo - crease blender brush

I bought this on impulse and I sort of regret it... I have Asian eyes, I don't have much of a crease. Yep. Why did I get a crease blender brush? Anyways, the brush is too large for me to even use it as a crease-blender. It picks up the crease shadow (and you know that's usually a dark-ish color) and just smudges way too much shadow all around. I have zero control with this brush! Still there are times when I apply shadows in the middle of the eyelid (under the crease) with this brush, it doesn't turn out that bad!

I've been waiting for this to be sold in Canadian Sephora stores for YEARS. It's finally available and I didn't hesitate to purchase. I even bought the biggest bottle -$75. It's my favourite favourite scent, extremely unique. It's flirty, seductive, sexy... subtle and sweet, professional, and wearable during the day. It's just all of that together!! I love it and I wear it whenever I could. The box it was packaged in is pretty cool too. LOVE!

Polishes -Essie - Nailpolish

This is the ONLY nail polish brand I ever buy now (except when OPI does a $5 clearout sale). It's very smooth, it never clumps, fast drying, and the colors are beautiful. VERY FEW color selections though.... So few! I'm so impatient waiting for Essie to introduce more colors, but the quality is just amazing. After my first Essie polish, I haven't gone back to any other brand. I'm even replacing my current non-Essie polishes with Essie. I love it THAT much. Before Essie, I'd use Sally Hansen base coat before applying ANYthing, but Essie actually lasted a week without the base coat! I only buy Essie now... it's definitely more expensive than all the other brands sitting around it but it's so worth it! They also hardly go on sale, arg!!

Cleansers -Philosophy - Purity Made Simple (Real Purity Cleanser)

This is extremely expensive for a cleanser, I usually just buy drugstore stuff like Cetaphil. I've used Cetaphil for years and years now, especially since I was acne prone during my school years (my face is clear now). I switched to Purity only a month ago after I tried out some samples. I LOVE IT! Cetaphil cleanser has treated me nicely so far, but Purity eliminated my oiliness for the ENTIRE day! I still have some forehead shine left but I am much less oily than before, AND I AM SO HAPPY. I use this only in the mornings hoping the bottle will last longer!

Eye Shadow -Urban Decay - Naked Palette

I LOVE Naked. This was a gift to myself on my very first paycheck (of my very first full-time job). It's the best investment ever, I also love the brush that came with it. Naked comes with some matte and mostly shimmer neutral colors, and this palette makes me look professional and put-together. I have a baby face and I look like I'm still in high school (especially when I wear jeans), these shadows plus a nice blouse makes me look like I can "sit at the adult table" (ref: Suits). The quality is amazing, little goes a long way and stays on all day with UDPP. I love Sin and Virgin the most. I also have a TON of fun with this palette. It's my FAVORITE ever, I treat it like my baby (I don't bring it out of the house). Thank you UD!!!

Moisturizers -Philosophy - Hope in a Jar - for all skin types

ick... what a yucky smelling moisturizer. I also don't like that it's in a jar, never have liked any moisturizer in a jar. Other than the smell, it's a pretty good moisturizer though. Little goes a long way, my face didn't become oily. But it's expensive and icky smelling.

Wooo! Just wore this on a Halloween party and it lasts and lasts! What's MOST AWESOME is that at the end of the night, I simply peel them off like a sticker. No pain! The glue I used before was so hard to remove, I spent 2 hours removing them. This one was like 5 seconds!!! I LOVE IT, I'm buying more lashes just because of this amazing glue. I bought the dark one, it's actually just a light gray color so it's not amazingly dark. The tube squeezed out SO much on the first try, it was terrible... and it says to wait 30 seconds for the glue to set. Wait about 10 and immediately put it on. Waiting too long to set causes it to dry quicker and making the corners lift (which was what happened to me).

Omg this is terrible!!! I ran out of my old deodorant so I tried out this one. I sweat like crazy using this! And it doesn't cover up any smell, I started noticing my clothes smelt very very bad at the end of the day. I was so embarrassed when I found out it was me!!!

Just finished my first bottle and it's great! It didn't cause breakouts, it left my skin soft, non greasy, and my skin isn't as oily anymore. I went to buy my 2nd bottle but I don't see it in stores anymore!!!! I only see the anti-acne one with salicylic acid. I hate this!

omg they were on sale so I bought one and it honestly was SUCH A MISTAKE. It's SO terrible, and I hate it absolutely! The wand sucks, the mascara clumps, and it does NOTHING to my lashes except coat them with black gunk. I hate this so much..

omgosh this is soooo good. I bought a 1oz at Shoppers for $20 ($20 on seletcted fragrances day) for a friend actually.. but I was really curious so I opened it and sprayed it on myself. It's SOOO lovely! THIS is what those tall ladies who breeze by the short me at the office wear! I feel so professional with it on haha! I'm going back tomorrow to get a new one for her, and keep this opened one for myself ;)

Lip Gloss -Bare Escentuals - Buxom gloss in Sugar

omgggg... love the minty feeling. love the shimmer. love the colour. love the smell. there's no taste, which is a good thing too. Not sticky.. but on windy days, my hair flies and sticks onto my lips when I wear gloss. I guess that's typical for all glosses.. Sugar is reeally pretty when I match it with an orange lipstick (yess I wear orange!). Wearing it alone gives my lips a sheer (shiny) tan colour. Overall, great gloss :) Not sure about the moisturizing effect.. maybe that's what the minty feeling is for? Because of that minty-ness, my lips don't feel dry when I wear this gloss! But yeah, I agree that it fades after a while.
