Moisturizers -L'Oreal - Revitalift Triple Power Deep-Acting Moisturizer

I usually love the Rivatalift line, so I was looking forward to trying this new product. Unfortunately this did not work for me. First of all, I noticed when applying it that it left white flakey balls on my skin. Secondly, although this cream is very thick and luxurious feeling, it did not moisturize my skin one iota. It only made my skin feel very dry and irritated all day. Plus, I noticed the beginnings of a zit on my chin. I will go back and use the orginal Rivatalift day cream and night cream. They work really well for me.
I bought this on the strength of the commercial....Whitening teeth just like that of Whitening Strips. That said....I used this for about a week and noticed that my teeth and gums became very sensitive. Everytime I drank smething, my there was a shock to my teeth. This stuff is very harsh.
Conditioner -L'Oreal - EverCreme Intense Nourishing Conditioner

Paraben Free...Sulfate Free...Vegan formula. What's not to love? Apparently quite a lot for me. I bought this this along with the matching shampoo. I was impressed with how creamy and silky these products felt in the shower, but that's where it ended. First off, I couldn't get past the crappy smell that seemed to go on and on. I still gave it a try for about a week though and noticed that my hair felt dry and like it was coated in laquer. Frayed ends galore. In addition, I have never used a product that made my hair as staticy as this. It was as if I stuck my finger in a light socket. Thank God I still had some Dove intense damage shampoo and conditioner on hand. It took me about two weeks to get my hair back to normal.
This was on sale in my local drugstore so I thought I'd give it a try. This turned out not to be a good . It was really creamy, and I had high hopes that this would smooth out those pesky little fine lines...it'd didn't. It also gave my skin a grayish tone. Another drawback was the weird smell this product had. I then realized that this product is infused with Olay products.....Mystery solved. All Olay prodcuts have a strange sulfur-like chemical smell to them. This product is also loaded with parabens. I won't be buying it again.
I'm always on the lookout for new things, and when I saw this on sale at my loal CVC I thought I'd give it a whirl. I totally agree with everyone else here. This is a totally useless product. I expected the foam to come out with a shaving cream consistency, but it was a watery mess. It got all over the place and dripped down my face. The color didnt even last me a week and made my hair look brassy and dull. I will definitely not buy this again. On another note, does anyone else find that audio come-on when you walk down the drugstore aisle totally obnoxious or is it me?
I bought this mascara about a year ago when Walgreens was running a sale on it and it has become my go-to Mascara of choice. It leaves my lashes plump and conditioned. Not like some Mascaras that make your eyelashes feel like they have a coating of shelack on them. It doesn't flake or smudge either. I also like the "old school" teddybear brush instead of those annoying new plastic ones. Plan on using this product for a long time to come.
Moisturizers -Olay - Total Effects 7-in-1 Fragrance-free SPF 15

I have given Olay a chance several times. Each time I was totally disappointed. This moisturizer did absolutely nothing for me. It left me skin feeling dry and itchy. I have also noticed that all of the Olay products (fragranced or non-fragranced) always have this very weird, chemical after-scent to them that lingers, like sulfer, which makes me concerned as to the toxins and chemicals I am putting on my skin. Needless to say, I will not be trying anymore Olay products.
The Body Shop recently reformulated all of their Lipsticks. Their original collection was the perfect demi-matte, but now they are more mosturizing. I don't have a problem with the fact that they made them more moisturizing. My problem is that by changing the formula, they totally destroyed the colors. I alway wore Clover Pink (the perfect brown-pink). This color was like my lips only better. The new formula looks nothing like that. Now my favortie Pink Clover looks more like a beigey peach. Not good! The quality of these lipsticks are very good, but everyone should be aware that their favorite color may no longer be the same.
Powder -Napoleon Perdis - NP Set Pasarella Powder Foundation

I don't wear liquid foundation, and have been searching for a really good powder foundation for eons. This definitely fits the bill. Granted, $30 for a powder foundation is rather steep, but I would rather pay good money for a quality product, than waste my money on a slew of inferiors. That said.....This foundation makes my skin look so fresh and soft. It has coverage, but allows my real skin to shine through. It is formulated with Shea Butter and Pomegranite, which makes it moisturizing and non-creasing at the same time. The sponge is also nice and soft and pliable. Definitely a go-to product.
Gels/Soaps -St. Ives - Oatmeal and Shea Butter Body Wash

Due to the economy (and alas, my unemployment), I have to find products that are very affordable and also ECO. Most of the time these kind of products can be quite pricely. Thank God St. Ives reformulated its products. Now, all of their body washes, scrubs, and body creams are paraben and phylate free. The Oatmeal and Shea wash smells luscious, doesn't dry out my skin, and makes me feel safe knowing that I am using a product that is healthy. Now, if only they would bring back their Shampoos ad Conditioners in the same healthy formulations.
This is one of my go-to items. I buy this product in dark and it's a perfect fit. It really keeps your brows in place all day, and very rarely to I need to do a touch-up. My only gripe is that the wax runs out way before the powder does. You would think that in this world of ecological packaging, Benefit would make this product with individual refills. Other than that little annoyance, I think this product is great.
Shampoo -Jason Natural Cosmetics - Natural Sea Kelp Shampoo

I am on a quest to replace all my products with more natural, non paraben ones. This shampoo and matching conditioner states that it moisturizes and prevents damage from styling. That said....The shampoo felt silky, and in rinsing out the conditioner, my hair felt so smooth. However, once dried and styled, my hair became like straw with no moisture in it whatsoever, not to mention it just never felt clean. The only good point of this product was the nice smell. Oh well, my quest continues.
