Treatments (Eye) -Unlisted Brand - Lilash - Purified Eyelash Stimulator

My lashes had gotten sparser and shorter after menopause, and were never that great to begin with. I was really skeptical about using a non-prescription serum, but didn't want to risk changing my eye color as is the case with that Latisse. So I listened to the aesthetician who does my permanent makeup and tried Lilash. WOW! You have to be religious with it's use (I put a P-Touch label on my mirror to remind me) but I saw results after about 3 weeks...it's been 2 months now and people think I have false eyelashes! I just bought another tube so I know I have it ready to go when this one runs out (the tube lasts a really long time, I got the smaller one and it's still going strong). I do apply a small amount to the outer edge of my lower lash line because that is a problem area for me, and I haven't had any irritation from doing so. I believe the ingredients are transferred to the lower lashes naturally because my lower lashes have grown like crazy as well. After you get to your desired results, you only have to apply it a couple times a week to maintain the results. I've started applying it to the outer part of my brows as well to see if it gets anything going. If you want awesome lashes without paying a doctor or risking your light eyes getting dark pigment, get this stuff. It's worth the patience.
I'll keep this short...I finally found my HG waterproof mascara! People have asked me several times if I"m wearing false lashes when I use it. It lengthens without clumping, and holds a curl ALL day long even in South Florida heat and humidity. Love love love it! I'll keep buying it as long as they keep making it!
This is a fantastic product, makes a very enhancing pink color from a clear gloss (pretty cool technology) and I use it all the time now...very nice for everyday wear, a bit more than YLBB...also very moisturizing. Especially good for my over-50 face; looks natural but with ooomph. This will be a staple for me from now on...
I don't usually go for the glitter stuff, but this looks really beautiful over a variety of base colors...Can't stop staring at my toenails...I love the effect of the different glitters and "confetti"...gorgeous. Yes, I'll buy it again cos I'm afraid they'll discontinue it...LOL
Lip Treatments -Christian Dior - Addict Lip Glow Color Reviver Balm

Except for the usual Chapstick and Burt's Bees balms when cold weather takes it's toll, this is my first high-end lip balm (I'm a gloss fan). It will probably be my ONLY one, because it is PERFECT, IMHO. Just shiny enough to enhance, feels wonderful on, and a beautiful shade of pink. I find myself remembering to reapply now and then just because it's such a cool product that it's fun to watch the color develop...LOL. I especially think it's a great product for mature lips; the color plus the moisture is wonderful even on no-makeup days. Adorable packaging, too, like all of the Dior Addict line.
Lip Gloss -L'Oreal - Infallible Lip Gloss in Sangria

I don't understand the several bad reviews on this lip gloss...it is the only one I have EVER tried that doesn't feather on my 50+ lips or disappear with the first sip of a beverage...this particular color is my HG for daytime wear and is sheer enough not to look like one of those two-step all-day lipstuffs that become pasty. I just bought several of the plumping line and I love them as well. My other lippies are gathering dust; my L'Oreal Infallible Lip Glosses are doing overtime! More colors, please!!!
Eyeliner -Rimmel - Spark It Up! Gleaming Eye Darkening Liner in Black Gold

I'm glad I got curious about this product because it gives such a hot look...I use this as liner on top of a charcoal/silver/black smokey eye and it adds a really mysterious glow and the color seems to accentuate the green in my eyes. Soft and easy to apply but has surprising staying power...Can't wait to play with it more!
After spending a fortune looking for a YLBB color that still shows some contrast with my skin, I've found my HG...and it's AFFORDABLE! Tawny has a creamy texture (but not sloppy) and a lovely tawny-rose color that is perfect for everyday. It seems to go with everything! I'm gonna stock up in case they discontinue it...
Lip Liners -Laura Mercier - Laura Mercier Lip Liner in Sweet Pea

After a long and hard search I have finally found my HG pink, and it's a pencil! This is a lovely, sheer, warm, pink with a little gloss to it that was JUST what I had been looking for. I love the texture; the last place I'd have expected it to come from was a pencil but this really did the job.
Treatments -RoC - Protient Fortify Lift and Define Serum

This is the first product I can say does what it claims, and then some. First of all I love the texture, it glides on effortlessly over neck & face and is absorbed quickly, then behaves just wonderfully under makeup. I see major results on my face, but most of all, on my neck, which was starting to put me in danger of becoming a Thanksgiving dinner. I made the mistake of buying LiftFusion (thankfully the small one) and it is NOTHING compared to this drugstore gem. I WILL buy again, and recommend it to anyone who'll listen. It will be in the stocking I stuff for my 40+ yr old younger sis as well...she laid out the bux for the Liftfusion. I hope she doesn't cry TOO long...
OK Count me among the believers here; I think if this stuff is gonna work it does something right away or nothing at all, because within two days I'm seeing fabulous results. I know it will take more time to get the best appearance, but the skin in the cellulite area is tighter, the dimpled areas look far smoother, and even the problem area on my tummy just above the navel (where I need the most help) is tightening up. The skin feels like it's brand new and if you look at it closely there's some sort of difference in the appearance. Not sure the patches are doing too much but I'm only using them on my tummy in that trouble spot, and I've only used two, but I see less wrinkles so the skin must be tightening up. I'm sticking with it because if it's this good now, I can't wait to see it 4 weeks from now...and I WILL be buying this again, as well as recommending it...to my little sister!!! :-)
Wow...I'm not a big lipgloss fan but I loved this color when I tried it on at Sephora (I was exchanging Dior "Lick of Taffy" which just didn't do it for me). I figure the price is offset by other l/s I get in the more affordable range from other brands so I won't gripe (too much). I'm a Fairly Light in BM with dark brown hair and the contrast of this berry-stain shade is very complementary. I like the packaging but it seems the doe foot doesn't get a good load without some work. Def would buy again!
Lipstick -Revlon - Colorstay Overtime Lipcolor in Endless Spice
birdcam 12/5/2005 10:33:00 PM
I got this with the "Copper Nude" Limited Edition metallic lip gloss on the other end...I will buy multiples of this again just for that gloss! OMG I don't know of any other gloss that packed with metallic shine. Anyway, with the gloss it is moist, lasts forever, and does the job. Their rum shade is my HG daily lip color.
Lipstick -Revlon - Colorstay Overtime Sheer- Sheer Pomegranate
birdcam 11/27/2005 11:13:00 PM
I have no patience for reapplying when I'm working, so longwear lipcolors are a must for me. Sheer Pomegranate was my first sheer Revlon Overtime color (I already live in "Everlasting Rum" and have "Unlimited Mulberry", "Ultimate Wine", "Faithful Fawn" and "Bare Maximum". I'm already a fan, and don't find them drying when applied sparingly and with the gloss overcoat. I don't even reapply after 9 hours at work, and my lips are still moist! I wish the color wasn't so pink-y as I'm looking for a nice, sheer, deep, ripe melon color (maybe they'll add more soon; any similar suggestions welcome!). I counteracted this and got a bonus cool look with an application of MAC Mineralize "Noble" over the color and under the gloss...BINGO! Very nice.
