To me this smells similar to Fresh Vanilla. Upon first application its a very 'perfumey' smell. Once it dries down, I can definatley smell the Caramel and Musk. This smells nothing like WVS or VBN. I thought Sinful Vanilla was blah and flat. This isnt like any of those. I do like this once I get over the initial 'perfume' smell. The longer it sat on my skin, I loved it. Great for fall and cooler weather. And the packaging fits perfectly with the name!
CANT beat the price of this $4.47 for a huge can. I always bought Kenra,Big Sexy Hair,Rockaholic..etc. While those definately worked for my long, thin hair...so does this stuff, for over half the price!! The smell is pleasant. Packaging is cute, white aresol can with hot pink detailing. The directions suggest to:'' Shake can(not too hard), lift hair and spray root area evenly to create volume and hold for any BIG style you crave!'' LOVE me some big 80's hair especially at the crown. Did I get volume at the crown? YEP! Just as good as those expensive hair sprays! I also used this on my side-swept bangs and all over the rest of my hair. GREAT stuff!!
I was completely sold on 'Osis' for my #1 volumizing hair powder...until discovering THIS!! I found it at my local Wal-Mart for a mere $4.47..yep..UNDER $5.00!! When I picked it up off the store shelf it felt empty, so I had to 'test' it out on my hand. Girl Powder feels powdery/dusty, whereas Osis felt thicker and grittier. The packing is cute, in a taller white bottle with a hot pink heart on it. No smell to either. Now, when I used this on my hair, this worked wonderfully!! MUCH better than Osis, IMHO. I have my beloved big 80's poof at the crown. While my poof stays, it is still quite managable to re-fluff with my fingers when I want that 'sky-high' hair!! LOVE this stuff!!
I too dont see why this is getting poor ratings. I love the orginal and think its more softer/sweeter than Sensuous Noir. It smells like the orginal Sensuous mixed with Opium and Black Cashmere in the dry down. I can definately smell the pepper and spices, I dont get any of the patchouli on me. Definately worth owning both fragrances in my opinion. The reason I rated it 4 stars is because I thought it was pricey..$48 for 1oz..

I finally got a chance to smell this today at Younkers. I liked the bottle, its shaped oval and shorter than "Love Kills Slowly" and "Love and Luck". I liked the design on it too. Now, the perfume itself, I definately smell the apple and mango in the begining. Then the floral notes follow. Fruity/Fresh is how I describe it. This is not as sweet as "Love Kills Slowly" or do I find it light and airy like "Love and Luck". Its more a cross between the two. Staying power was good. If I had to pick, I still like ''Love Kills Slowly" the best. I'm sure this flanker will sell quite well with the younger crowd for Christmas!
Great find! To me, it looks alot like Nars Orgasm lip gloss. This is a peachy-pink with little gold sparkle/flecks in it. Taste isnt bad either. I've already had a compliment on it! Price is descent. Would buy again.

Good stuff. I'm so glad BBW didnt do another 'floral' or 'fruity' scent! It's nice to have a more 'grown-up' version of vanilla. That said, I do love all things Vanilla so I knew this would be a winner. I think the body cream smells lighter than the other products. This will also layer well with my other perfumes or body mists. I love the new packaging and I'm quite pleased with this line. I will definately be buying more.
I really like this scent. I'm a huge fan of all things Vanilla. With that being said, to me, this isnt a sweet/cakey scent like WVS. This smells nothing like it. Instead I get a bowl of rice with warm milk sprinkled with sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg. Lovely and comforting. A little similar to Rice Flower and Shea with the spices added in. I think the EDT smells different than the Body Cream, which is softer and prolly best for layering with other scents as well. This is a LE for the Holidays. I think this will sell quite well. I will be going back and buying some more of the other products in this line. One of the best scents I've tried there in quite some time. Also adding: The reason I give this a 4 out of 5 rating is because of lasting silage..I LOVE monster silage and this is one that will need to be applied through out the day for ME(this is a personal issue I have with all perfumes). For others, this might last and last on you.
Just got this in the mail today. Not bad, but not great either. I can definately smell the Nutmeg and Cardomom in the first initial spray. But that quickly disappears and I'm left with a sweet Vanilla scent with traces of those spices. I didnt smell the Sandalwood at all. I also smell a faint petroleum smell too. Maybe its just me? I dont hate the smell and DH liked it but didnt love it. I guess I was hoping for something different that wouldn't be mistaken as a Glade plug-in. I'm glad I didnt pay full price for it.
I bought this for my MIL one year for Christmas knowing she would fall head-over-heels for this. She smells absolutely fabulous when she wears this. She was always a fan of Tabu and this kinda falls in the likes of it. As mentioned previously, if over-sprayed it can be very overwhelming. This must work well with her chemistry because she is always getting complimented on it. I would recommend this to anyone who loves heavy floral-orientals.
I just bought this unsniffed because of the notes listed. I've read some mixed reviews for this 'interesting' scent. Some have compared it to cherry cough-syrup where others disliked the licorice note in it. Its listed as a fruity-floral but, I'm not sure I would put it in that category either? On initial spray I detect alot of Cherry and a little Violet. I dont really smell any of the middle notes which are listed as florals. As it dried down on my skin I do smell more of the Cherry, Vanilla and Patchouli. I read where someone compared this to Cherry pipe-tobacco and they are dead-on with that description. Its hard to explain this fragrance, I dont want to 'label' this as fruity, floral, spicy or sweet. Its kinda mysterious but not a heavy fragrance. The staying power has been very good so far. This is definately a scent that could be worn all year around. The bottle is very sleek and sexy with the atomizer on it. I took one lippie off because 'In Black' and I are still getting to know each other. NOTES: Sour Cherry, Pink Grapefruit Rose. Middle: Violet,Peach,Jasmine,Lilac Base: Musk,Patchouli,Moroccan Cedar,Madagascar Vanilla and Licorice.
Huh? I was soo hyped about this perfume because I love the original Obsession. Even though I knew the two had nothing to do with one another except for the name. Well, I finally had the chance to test this and I'm dissapointed. Initial spray, is a blast of alcohol. Then as it dries down it morphs into Tuberose and hairspray *accord.* NOT what I was expecting. While I do *like* Tuberose in fragrances, I find it very cloying and generic in this one. Bummer, because I love the bottle.
WoW! I cannot say enough good things about this. It smells so sweet and delicious. I ended up ordering the LE version of this in a 3.3oz bottle(bottle has a little girl on the front). The price for this is so unbelievably cheap for the amount you get. I think the reason it is so cheap is because A.) The bottle is extremely 'simple' with a sticker/label on it. B.) It doesnt come in a box, they just wrap bubble wrap around it. And C.) The cap is 'simple' its a tiny little aluminum cap that just fits over the sprayer. I've been in search for a vanilla scent for ever and this is it. So far, the lasting silage has been good. I will never be without this perfume! A++++
YES! I have been waiting for BBW to come out with a scent like this for a long time. I get so tired of the Florals and Fresh scents. This time I think they got it! This is a very sultry-sexy scent. In my opinion, could be unisex as well. Perfect for cooler weather. NOTES: Top, Bergamot Italian Oprur, Juicy Mandarin,Sparkling Tangerine, Zesty Orange, Water fruits, Crisp melon. MIDDLE: Lily of the valley,Magnolia Blossom, Tuberose, Freesia, Peony Petals and Camellia. BASE: Patchouli,Sandalwood,Vetiver,Vanilla, Musk. I dont get ANY of the fruity notes at all. To me, it cuts straight to the middle and I smell the Tuberose. Then, with a big bang the Patchouli comes at me with the Sandalwood,Vetiver,Vanilla and Musk lingering behind. For all you Tom Ford 'Black Orchid' fans...THIS is a must for you.
On initial spray its very citrusy and floral, I was kinda dissapointed. But, then once it settles it morphs into a sweet-woody ending. I sometimes smell the orange creamsickle accord as well. Perfect for warmer weather, I doubt I would wear this in the cooler months. Lasting power is excellent!
