Love, love, love this foundation. I used to ONLY use Laura Mercier or MAC Face & Body, but the GA has now become my favorite. I have oily skin, with large pores and this foundation reduces the pore size on my face. It also has excellent coverage and blends beautifully. It's $52.50, a bit more expensive than I would prefer, but it is well worth it. It dries down to a fresh, dewy (but not too dewy!) finish. It really does look great on -- reduces redness, covers minor imperfections, and really creates a wonderful canvas to work with.
Cleansers -Cetaphil - Daily Facial Cleanser (Normal to Oily Skin)

This cleanser has worked well for my skin. I have tried hundreds of cleansers for different reasons and this cleanser seems to do the work that it needs to do. It cleans my skin, doesn't strip it dry, and my skin has been better off after a few weeks of usage. I have always searched for a cleanser to fix all my problems -- large pores, oily skin, minor breakouts...and this cleanser has def. improved my skin. And it does a wonderful job cleansing as well. It will even take off mascara (but wash well - it will burn your eyes if you don't). Will def. continue to use.
I LOVE this product. I was a bit skeptical at first; I didn't want more oil on my (sometimes) oily skin. Well, this product really made a believer out of me -- that to slow down the oil, you need oil to begin with! After about one month of using this, my skin is more even, less oily, and looks great. This will become one of my staples!
I was given this cream after getting a facial at The Four Seasons (NYC). The facialist said that I must get this product, so I did! After I got it home, I realized that this cleansing cream is really exactly like Jurlique's cleansing cream -- they even smell exactly the same (which I don't care for all too much). I do like this exfoliant -- very gentle on my skin and really helps keep my skin looking fresh and pampered. Will buy again; it's easier to get this rather than the Jurlique.
Lip Gloss -mark - Glow Baby Glow Hook-Up Lip Gloss in Sweet Talk

Great gloss, and great natural color (on me -- pale olive complexion). I love how you can connect it with the mark connector to another hook up product -- great idea and so handy! The gloss is not too sticky or gummy -- which is what I don't like about the MAC lipglasses. I plan to get every single gloss from mark. The prices are wonderful, and the gloss is great!
This is the perfect nuetral beige for me -- it gives me that bare lip look that I love -- but looks so great on. The texture is smooth and wonderful, and it smells and tastes great to boot. The size is perfect -- small container yet full size of actual product. Great deal -- great color.
Lip Gloss -mark - Glow Baby Glow Hook-Up Lip Gloss - Peek-A-Boo
bigbrowneyes823 8/28/2003 12:25:00 AM
LOVE THIS GLOSS!!!! It is super shiny, smells and tastes great, and doesn't get stuck in my hair when the wind blows (like MAC glass does). It is dirt cheap, yet a high quality gloss!!! This color also looks great, I wear it over mark's "nekkid" lipstick -- I have gotten a lot of complements. I am so glad I am a rep and have gotten to get these products!! I really do love them -- so I am so happy. Will buy this gloss again.
This is a great cleanser for my combination skin. It cleanses well, and is not too foamy (which I don't really care for). I feel like my skin looks better when I use this as a cleanser, and breaks out less often. I will buy again.
I really love this peel. I use it three times a week, and I see a difference in the tone, texture, and clarity of my skin. It is gentle yet effective -- and delivers what it promises. My fine lines are virtually gone, and my skin is less prone to breakouts. I attribute this all to the A Peel, and would def. buy again.
Moisturizers -La Mer - Creme de la mer moisturizer
bigbrowneyes823 8/28/2003 12:19:00 AM
I like La Mer...but sometimes it is too heavy for my combo skin....It leaves my skin soft and supple, when I put it on at night. I typically use this only in the middle of winter -- when I experience some dryness on my cheeks. It is too expensive, though, for the actual product. There are plenty of other moisturizers out there that do just as good of a job, if not better, than La Mer...but since I can be a snob when it comes to skincare and makeup...I do love the feeling of putting this heavily hyped, highly coveted creme on my face!
Moisturizers -Olay - Regenerist Enhancing Lotion with UV protection
bigbrowneyes823 6/29/2003 6:14:00 PM
I have been using this lotion for a month now, and I really like the results I am seeing. I was previously using Chanel's Precision SPF lotion for daytime use, and while I loved that moisturizer, they re-did their line and I decided to try the Regenerist. I love the fact that it has an SPF built in, for blocking both UVA/UVB rays. My skin has been looking "fresher" and more alive. I also have a more even skin tone, and my skin seems firmer. I have combination skin, and so far I have not experienced any extra oiliness or breakouts. I will definetely buy again, and I have also been thinking about trying the serum as well.
Lip Gloss -TheBalm - Plump Your Pucker lip plumper
bigbrowneyes823 6/15/2003 2:27:00 AM
I bought this product because I couldn't find DuWop's Lip Venom anywhere! The SA at Sephora told me that this product, formally only offered online, was their version of the lip venom. I tried it in the store, and waited the three minutes (it says on the box you see results in 3 minutes) to see if anything happened. I tried the "pepper my mint" version, and I really did see a difference -- particularly in my upper lip. When I put it on, my lips started tingling like crazy and it felt very cool and icy. The back of the pot (which is 17 oz) says, "plumps in just three minutes for hours of luscious lips". I think it works, so I will most definetely buy this again. The effect lasted about 2 hours, which I think is pretty good. There were a few other flavors besides the mint, and there were also other kinds -- some were in a wand and seemed to be more pigmented.
Primer/ Corrector -Yves Saint Laurent - Touche Eclat (Radiant Touch)
bigbrowneyes823 5/25/2003 9:13:00 PM
I like this product..only I now think it is a little too pale for me. A YSL MA used it on me, above my brows and on both sides of my mouth to "get rid of those shadows". It did seem to life me up, and make my face look a little better. So, I purchased it and have been happy with the results. People should not think that this is a concealor, per se, for blemishes because it is way too sheer for that kind of coverage.
Berry Burst is a nice gloss, though I don't love the glitter in it. On my lips the color shows up like a "my lips, only better" glossy kind of color. It's not too tacky feeling and I like to wear it over LM's Chestnut liner.
Toners -Clarins - Toning Lotion (Alcohol Free) All
bigbrowneyes823 5/25/2003 8:59:00 PM
This is a nice toner. It smells nice, with not too much fragrance. It also feels nice going on...very refreshing. I use this every other day (the other days I use DDF's Glycolic toner) and it makes my combo skin less oily and shiny. Once this bottle is done, I am not sure if I will purchase again. I do like that it is alcohol free.
