Even until now that I've stopped using this terrible cleaser, I still keep blaming myself why I had used this for so long. My story is: I started to use Dermalogica products about 1 year ago with theie complete mediBac-clearing. Everything was great at first as they helped my oily, acneic skin. After about 1-2 weeks, my face began to dry and flaky as crazy. I thought it must be the Active moist wasn't moisturing enough. I changed my moisturizer to Smoothing cream and even Intensive moisture balance. Nothing worked. My skin was still flaky, tight, red, and very irritated after cleansing=> more acne. Then 1 week ago, I read Dermalogica Ultracalming cleanser's review and thought I might try changing the cleanser to see if it helps. Thank God I did. Just in only 3 days, my skin looks much much much better, less red, less irritated. Turned out, it was the Clearing Skin Wash(which is designed for acneic skin) which caused my skin dry, dehydrated and more acne.I hate myself why i didn't stop using it sooner and use Ultracalming cleanser instead.

I can't live without this gel. It has been helping me combat acne for years. It makes bleamishes smaller and less red after just 1 night. It also helps with post acne discoloration but not much. I'm very please with this treatment. A great product from Dermalogica.
Not for sensitive skin.My skin is red after using it. It does remove flakes on my skin and moisturizer goes very smoothly on skin. But it is harsh for my skin.
I bought this. I tried it a couple times and hated it. It made my skin dry and flaky, which caused the oil grand work more==> more oil. However it did help to dry up some minor blemishes. Never buy again Edited: I tried to use this product again with Skin Hydrating Booster applied first. My skin isn't dry anymore, indeed very hydrate and less oily throughout the day. Pimples got smaller and dried faster. Great.
Moisturizers -Dermalogica - Intensive Moisture Balance

This cream is better than the smoothing cream. This one is lighter and absorbs quickly. It's great for cold winter days. I still get some breakup while using this but I think the cause is not the cream.
I love this moisturizer. It is light and oil-free, fragrance-free, so it doesn't worsen my acne. It's perfect for summer, but in the winter I use intensive moisture balance. It also smells great. The only cons is it leave a shiny screen on face.
I tried the travel verson and I didn't like it. My skin doesn't like it neither. It lathers nicely and removes makeup and oil very good. However It doesn't help my acne. It is great for normal or combination skin
It is a little too harsh for my oily, dehydrated skin. My skin feels raw and red after using it. Don't use eveyday if you have sensitive skin

This cleanser is very refreshing, but it didn't help with acne skin. It also make my skin red and sensitive. Never buy it again
This product is great for removing makeup, debris, and oil build-up. It's very gentle and moisturizing too. However, the bottle is cheap and hard to dispend the product. Hope they'll change it soon
First I used the Active Moist, but it didn't moisturize enough and it left a shiny film on my face. So I tried this Cream. I've been using this for about 3 months, but it didn't help my skin at all. Actually, it worsened my skin. I'll try something better for my moisturizer.
