Foundations -Make Up For Ever - HD High Definition Foundation

I was searching for the perfect foundation for probably 15 yrs before I found this one. I tried drug store, BB, Clinique, Dior, MAC, pretty much everything and always found something wrong with them. I tried this one a couple years ago and loved everything about it. Great color match, lightweight on my skin, and definitely made my skin look flawless and doesn't cause me to break out.. Even my mom noticed and complimented me on my skin. HG for me!
I don't love the packaging when it comes in pot form, but I love the pro pans or depots to put into my 15 pan palette. I use Shroom over my Painterly Paint Pot and it creates such a nice eye-brightening base that I can add just about any shadow in the crease and it looks good. I only gave it 4 lippies because it seems like it is probably easily dupable and there are just a ton of similar colors out there.
I bought this in the pro pan from the MAC store, which makes it so easy to pop into my 15 pan palette. Smut is a shadow I use in the corner of my eyes almost everyday. You can add just a touch for a neutral smokey-ish eye or add a lot for a night time smokey eye. Love it!!
Moisturizers -Clinique - Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion

This product works so well on my skin. I have gone back and forth between moisturizers based on the reviews here, but keep coming back to DDML. I have VERY dry cheeks and an oily T-zone and this manages to moisturize very well without breaking me out. My face also has a tendency to get redder as the day goes (weird..) and using this moisturizer in the morning helps keep that at bay. I also love the smell and the pump container. I will keep buying!
I have to admit, I was skeptical when I swapped for this palette. I'm in my 30's and work for a conservative company and thought this shadows would be too glittery for me. However, once I tried a few of the colors, I was blown away with how beautiful and versatile they are. This turned into a palette I use at least 2 to 3 times a week. My favorites are Sin, Smog, and Mildew, but I like mixing it up with the other colors. I lucked out when I swapped for this. I'm almost out of Sin now and plan to repurchase the single!
The sales lady at the Dior counter gave me a sample of this one day. I was thinking "yeah right, $100 for 1 oz, it would have to give me perfect skin to be worth that". Well, I have to say my skin has never looked better! A little tiny bit goes a long way and just gives my skin a young, healhty glow. I'm 32 and people constantly think I'm in my mid-20's (I don't know if all of that is due to this serum, lol - but I think it helps). Needless to say, I went back to Nordies and I got one. I got it at a good time when they were having a really good gwp, which helped make my decision. Since it is so expensive, I may try a few others when I run out to see if I notice a difference. I know I tried several before this one and didn't notice any benefits, but there may be others that are comparable. The only other thing I don't like is that you can't see how much you have left in the container, so I never know if I'm about to run out.
Treatments -Christian Dior - HydrAction Deep Hydration Radical Serum

I'm surprised by all the reviews that say this wouldn't be good for dry skin. I have very dry skin (use plain Eucerin as moisturizer sometimes) and I feel very hydrated and glowy after I use it. I thought I maybe it was another product causing the changes, so I quit using it for a while and I noticed my skin felt drier and didn't look as glowy or healthy. Then I thought, maybe it is just serum in general that makes my skin look better, so I got Olay Regnerist, and once again I noticed my skin not looking as fresh or feeling as hydrated. So, I have come to the conclusion that this product is wonderful! Very hydrating and worth the money! I love it!
I bought this based off of the good reviews and was totally turned off by the smell! I couldn't get past the awful, extremely perfumed smell to actually test the product. I felt like I was choking on it until I washed my face! There is a ton of product, but the packaging is not great either. I could see dropping this package and powder flying everywhere. It's cheap, but definitely not worth it to me. The smell is ICK!
I have had this quad for a long time and tucked it away and forgot about it. I had even almost swapped it away at one time. I got it out the other day, wondering why I never used it. OMG! This quad is beautiful. The pink, Pure Energy, is this beautiful shimmery pink that makes my brown eyes pop. I put Fake in the outer V and it is one of the few browns (besides Satin Taupe) that does not make me look tired. It gives me a nice sultry look (hence the name :) I usually line my eyes with my BB gel e/l and then put Sultress on over it because it isn't dark enough to completely line by itself. I use Aria in the crease, but it also works great with other colors to tone them down (plumage, etc). Love this quad!
Purples look great with brown eyes and Poison Pen is my perfect purple. It is a true purple color and really makes my brown eyes pop! Got lucky and swapped for this because it is dc'ed.
I tried to like Sable because of all the good reviews. But, on my fair complexion it just made me look tired. I think that browns are not my best friend because I have brown eyes. Oh well, it's a pretty color just not on me.
I LOVE Bobbi Brown Beige Shimmerwash. I wear it on my lids almost everyday. It is very subtle for work and just everyday, but makes my eyes pop! I usually wear MAC e/s but this is better than any neutral I've tried - Naked Lunch, Jest, Yogurt... I can't even think of all of them that I have tried. The only thing I don't like is the packaging. I do have the old, round container so I can't comment if the new square packaging is better. But, the round packaging is so big and clunky. I have it in a palette with two other round BB shadows which is huge and heavy! All of my other shadows are in my MAC 15 pan palette and I so wish my few BB e/s would fit in there. Oh well, the packaging is not bad enough that I will go out and buy the squares. And, the round will last me an eternity so I will never need to repurchase, but, if I ever ran out I would buy Beige shimmerwash again in a heartbeat!
I hardly ever wear anything on my lips - hate lipstick, hate most lipglosses and usually only wear chapstick. However, when I do wear lipgloss I almost always reach for Pink Meringue. It is the perfect MLBB, pale pinky color. Everyone says how sticky MAC lipglosses are, but I am VERY picky about what I put on my lips and it is not too sticky for me. I only wear one other product on my lips and that's MAC Viva Glam lipgloss for the days I need a more peachy color. Love it! Too bad PInk Meringue is LE because I'm on my second tube and have to try and trade for it!
Although this has been long discontinued, I felt compelled to come here and write a review, because everyday I put on my woman, I think "Oh, how I love thee". I have looked high and low for the perfect blush for many years now, and none can compare to my Woman. On my pale skin it is the perfect pink/rose blush. I love that it is a cream form because it blends in so well with my foundation and looks so natural. It's easy to apply and lasts all day. I have stocked up on these, but dread the day that they are all gone or all dried up. I will cry a river and never find a perfect replacement! :) Oh, I love you Woman!
I love MAC shadows and Handwritten is no exception. I read others say that it is very dark, but I am super pale and I wear Handwritten on the outer V and think it is just right. Looks great paired with Yogurt, Naked Lunch, and just about anything! I wear BB Black Plum eyeliner and the look is gorgeous! It's second only to my HG Satin Taupe. Update: Handwritten makes me look tired when I wear it. It is a beautiful color, but browns don't look good on my brown eyes. It would be a beautiful color on most, just not on me!
