Primer/ Corrector -Cover Girl - Simply Ageless Serum Primer

I have not written a review in a while, but I have to write something about this...IT IS HORRIBLE! I used to have really acne prone/ sensitive skin a few years back and since then, I have been acne free (it was mostly hormonal...). I have combination skin where it's oily sometimes in the t-zone (mostly in the summer), but other than that it's regularly normal. Well, I kept hearing very good things from friends that this is comparable of brand name primers, but for a more inexpensive price. I am all for that, so I thought what can it hurt, right?...Wrong, just very wrong indeed! It made me break out soooo bad! I now have the painful cystic acne going on! I put less than a full pump on my face, because it was easy to spread and to cover my entire face. It honestly didn't look like it softened or "cover up" any pores at all. It made my face seem a little more matte before applying my foundation. But, as soon as I applied my foundation, my pores seemed HUGE and my skin felt immediately like I was wearing a thick mask, which in general; it NEVER does. After a half an hour, my skin was just a greasy mess and my foundation was creasing. After a few hours my skin was uncomfortable and that's when i realized, I was breaking out. I am usually one to experiment and try again to see if I get the same experience, BUT which such a negative reaction, it will never be used again :(
I believe this was the first MAC product I had ever bought!!! I had a best friend in High School who always wore just this one her lips and they had always looked luscious and perfectly pouty. She would rave up to the high heavens about how this was the best thing from MAC. I bought into the gimmick, due to her spectacular looking pouty lips!...boy, will I never do so again! This lipglass is the stickiest stuff on the planet and thick to boot! It's like putting extra thick honey on your lips! Sure, it looked great...but this stuff was hell! If any wind caught a few strands of hair, it would fly straight to your lips and be a pain to try and take off...and don't forget having lipglass on random places on your face! It also did nothing in the way of moisturizing your lips, so they would get dry and weirdly flaky when removing. Crusty lips with the lipglass slathered on all over does NOT equal cute! Also, the cap to this container seemed to always come undone...I always had lipglass all over the place...in my purse, on the counter on my dresser...totally a bummer. I will never buy this crap again!
I LOVE this lipstick shade!!! I wear this everyday for school, because it's so natural yet very sophisticated. I love how I can also wear it with a very bold eye and wear this color to make my look very balanced. The texture is also very smooth with low shimmer, just the way I like it. I haven't tried the lip gloss yet, but I bet it's just as pretty.
Lip Treatments -MAC - Tinted Lip Conditioner Stick in Sun Under

One of my favorite products for the Summer Season!!! In one of my other reviews, I mentioned how I was such a chapstick slave with the unnecessary habit of slathering on product all day long. With MAC, the products are always created for long lasting moisturisation. It's not sticky or greasy, but rather very smooth and silky. I also love the natural sheerness with a hint of peachy gold for that Summer Boho beach girl look.
This stuff is my savior during the Winter Season. My lips dry like no other and tend to crack or bleed if not protected. I was once a slave to chapstick growing up and it had always involved slapping on a layer, for what seemed like every half hour. MAC certainly made this with us chapstick slaves in mind. I generally only need to slather a bit on my lips twice during the day and once over night. It makes my lips so soft and flake free. I love the texture, where it glides on smoothly and is NEVER sticky. The only thing I warn is, when laid on its side, the oils tend to separate, leading to a lot of product coming out...so make sure to stand it on the lid. Overall, I love this lip treatment <3
I must say, I REALLY love this color! It was everything that I wanted it to be in terms of Fuchsia. I've bought fuchsia lipsticks before and they had too much purple in them or waaaay too much red, but this one is just right. I also love the texture...so smooth, not sticky or drying. Looks great with a very low-key eye. When wearing this lipstick, your lips are going to be the full focal point! LOVE it!
I can't believe they even call it Sheer Plum! It's not sheer or anywhere near a plum shade. The color is more of a light brick brown red with a hint of orange. It's a pretty color, but nothing in terms of what it's described. Luckily the shade goes with my skin tone.
I have to say that this is the BEST red lipstick I have ever bought in my life! Red usually looks terrible on me...mostly because I'm clueless as to what shade of red even goes with my complexion. The first time I put this on, I was blown away how immediately with I fell in love. It looked classy, geeky chic and elegant! The texture is amazing as well! It's a matte, but it's very luxurious and velvety...not drying what-so-ever! I am definitely going to wear this next date night out with my husband *wink wink*
Okay... I'm not one to really care much for perfumes from Victoria's Secret, but I must say...this perfume is actually very nice. It's got a light and sweet smell of vanilla and flowers. When I wear it, I feel like very pretty and feminine without being enveloped in a cloak of fake vanilla and rubbing alcohol. Some people mention that it wears off after a short time, but it's never happens to me, for I smell lovely faint hints during the end of the day. I've been wearing this daily, when I'm going to school, when I'm just wearing jeans and a t-shirt...and a little more spritz when I'm going on a night in the town. My boyfriend and friends always comment how good I smell and that's a bonus to me. This would be a nice gift for a friend who likes soft, but feminine perfumes.
For the price, I can't really complain about much. I bought this because of the popularity of all the online guru's suggestions. I love the easy blend-ability and creamy consistency. I use this mostly as a highlight and for making stubborn colors "pop" and I have to say, the jumbo pencil really does work. I do wish that this pencil came in a smaller size as well, to use as an eyeliner...yea, I had experimented a little an it's a GOOD inner eyeliner. However, I have read that many people have made consistent complaints that it creases later on with the eyeshadow...I HAD the same problem with every eyeshadow, with the nightmare of my oily eyelids. The trick is, to use an eyeshadow primer (I suggest: Urban Decay's prime potion) and add a wash of nude color over the primer, THEN add the pencil to add the areas of concentration and then work whatever colors you are trying to add. I hope it works out for those who try it out, because it seriously is one of the best items I have.
Eyeliner -MAC - Fluidline Eye-Liner Gel in Blacktrack

When I initially bought this gel liner, I swore I had died and gone to heaven. I had posted before how my eyelids have this tendency to being the greasiest part on my entire face; so eyeshadow and liners tend to sadly melt away into the creases. Well the liner was easy to use and it ACTUALLY stayed where I had put it. The liner didn't fade or end up on my upper eyelid or any weird nonsense; it was perfect. A few months later however, my liner has kind of dried out. I swear, I've kept the container pretty darn tight after each use. I even tried that trick I've seen online, with storing the container upside down....well, the liner is still kind of on the "dry" side and tends to be a bit cakey. However, I'm not one to waste ANYTHING so I add a spritz of MACs Fix + and it tends to continue working that way. But, I feel a bit cheated, since I spent a nice amount of money on it, I'd at least expect the consistency to stay the same.
I was a little weary when I first purchased this (hence the brilliant bright color) and decided to be brave and go with it. I wanted to change my retro-esque make-up and add more "pop" to my routine. Indeed this color did "pop" but in a GOOD way. I thought the blue-fuchsia might not exactly go with my light olive skin, but it SURE DID!!! I'd say it was a more warm fuchsia...being that it didn't clash with my skin tone. I adore the fact that you can layer this lightly and add some gloss and it's a cute flowery pink, but not too bright. For a sexy night out, you can layer this shade on and viola!...instant sex kitten. It also smells really nice...says my boyfriend *wink*. I also love the way it is very smooth and nourishing to the lips and doesn't dry them out like I have experienced with some MAC lipsticks in the past. You want numerous comments from the gals AND guys...? Then add this to your list!
Thus far with my experience in using these cleansing towelettes, I do say that I like them, but most definitely not in LOVE with them. I have only used these every other day to remove my daytime make-up and once with a night out in the town. For my daytime make-up, it removes all the excess product with one towelette just fine. It removed all of my mineral foundation, blush and even my two coats of M.A.C. mascara. It had left my face pretty soft feeling and no film or residue feeling after wards. As for my experience with my night time look, well as you know the colors used were definitely laid on thicker and with bolder pigments. I had to use 2 towelettes (one for my facial make-up and the second for all the layers of mascara and eyeshadow) and was in definite need of a face washing. I was on a whim of buying these since my usual Dove Towelettes were out of stock and I was lazy and to track them down at the local Target. To be honest, they are not terrible and I would buy them again if need be. The price is good and for using it for my daytime make-up removal is fine enough.
Lotions/ Creams -Eucerin - Calming Creme Daily moisturizer

Since the Winter season has begun, my hands and cuticles have felt so dry. I've tried to use everything that I usually use, but it doesn't seem quite as strong enough for this season. While at Target, I was looking through the mini travel sized lotions to carry in my handbag and I came across this. I must say it's been love at first apply. When my little trial size was used up, I bought the largest bottle they had and I'm currently half way through it. You only need to use just a small amount and Viola!: Immediate moisturization! My hands feel completely relieved of any dryness and itchiness. I also love that there's no over-powering perfume smell too.
There's nothing bad that I could ever say about this product! I've been using this for a few years and it's my HG every single time, season, you name it. It gives me the lovely peachy glow that radiates in a more natural way. I always get compliments about how I look like I'm glowing happiness :D. I love how I can wear a little by it's self and it keeps me looking natural and fresh. I also like how I can add more and it's never too much. When I get a tan in the summer, it matches perfectly to whatever I wear. I love the packaging, just because it's so sleek and classy. It's definitely a must have in my daily make-up routine!
