I received this in a swap and I am thrilled with the products in the palette. There is a matte cream color that makes an excellent base, a taupe shimmer that looks sparkly in the pan but is actually quite light on the lids,a gold, a copper tone, and a dark brown-black. I've tested all but the gold and find it's actually quite nice for everyday wear. It goes on so smooth and doesn't get powdery. My favorite is definitely the sparkly taupe- it adds just a hint of magic. The dark tone is great for crease too. Additionally, all the lip tones are warm and natural. I'm a huge fan of "Tawny", which is close to my natural lip color.

Lipstick -American Beauty - Luxury for Lips in Rose Wonder

I honestly don't know how I ended up with this lipstick, but I just rediscovered it and I'm in love. It's a beautiful rosy almost-red that enhances my natural lip color without looking garish (I'm pale with pink undertones, so rose can be a bit weird sometimes). It also smells really good- like candy or fruit juice! Finally, it's quite moisturizing. This is one of the few lipsticks that is down to a nub, and I will definitely buy it again.

Blush -Cover Girl - Cheekers Blush in Pretty Peach

I see no point in spending lots of blush. This Cheekers color is a classic and costs $3! The peachy color looks natural on my pale skin and adds a healthy looking glow in the winter months. I've had mine for a few years and it still works/looks fantastic. A little goes a long way.

Liquid -Revlon - ColorStay Makeup

This is by far my favorite d/s foundation I've ever tried and I have a wastebasket full of crappy foundations to my credibility. It's thick but not pore clogging. It provides nice skin-evening coverage and doesn't require reapplication during the work day. I wouldn't say it lasts "24 hours" as the packaging states, but it does last awhile. My only gripe is the fact that the package is just a glass top bottle, so it can get messy for us klutzy folks.

Mascara -Maybelline - Volum' Express The Falsies

As a girl with almost invisible eyelashes, I'm always looking for ways to make them super black and dramatic. However, I found this mascara to be very clumpy on my lashes. They stuck together, even after an attempt with an eyelash comb. Throughout the day, I found little black flakes under my eyes. I really wanted to love this product, but the only thing good about it is the solid black color.

Lipstick -Lime Crime - Candyfuture Lipstick - All Shades

Lime Crime is an amazing company, and this lipstick is the one that made me a believer. I have Countessa Flourescent which is a very Nicki Minaj color. It goes on completely opaque and stays bright throughout the day (I have naturally dark pink lips, so it's hard to find one that keeps my lips from coming through). It even lasted through lunch. It is moist enough that it didn't give my lips that cakey look, but not to the point that it makes you look all slimy. The shades are unforgettable and the packaging is so feel-good and cute! I will buy Lime Crime again and again.

Lipstick -Revlon - Super Lustrous - Black Cherry

I've searched high and low for the perfect deep berry color for fall. I had my heart set on D&G 0068, but that's a little out of my price range at the moment. I brought in a picture of the D&G lipstick and this one matched the closest. This color is so rich and velvety, I normally shy away from dark colors but I feel so sexy with this saturated color. It's dramatic without being gothic :)

Lipstick -Revlon - Orange Flip

I bought this lipstick through amazon.com after reading glowing reviews on MUA. I am so glad that I did my research and bought this shade. It is orange without being garish. It has a very retro feel to it, and I love to wear it with white. It's an ideal summer color that really adds to whatever I'm wearing. I like to think of it as an instant cute-ifier. The price is decent, the packaging works just fine, and when mine runs out I'll run out and get another.

Scrubs -Victoria's Secret - Pink Go Natural Sugar Scrub

I have extremely dry feet, ankles, knees, and elbows. When I picked this scrub up at the semi-annual sale for $3.00, I didn't expect it to fix this problem! After using it, all these areas are silky soft. I used the Cucumber and Waterlily scented scrub, which isn't too strong but leaves you smelling nice. The actual sugar crystals feel nice, better than little plastic beads in some other scrubs. I will be buying this product again once I'm out!

Liquid -Make Up For Ever - Mat Velvet PLUS Matifying Foundation

I wear shade 20 in this particular product and I absolutely love it! It's hard to find foundations with subtle yellow undertones, without too much pink, but this foundation nails it. It also gives my skin that smooth flawless look. It does what a foundation is meant to do: create a smooth foundation for the rest of your makeup. It's very expensive, but to me it's worth it. It's the best foundation I've ever had!

Lipstick -MAC - Russian Red

This is one of my favorite red lipsticks ever, and as the proud owner of 40 shades of red, that says something. It is a bold red that's not too moist (i hate that slimy lip look) but not too dry (ewww crusties!). It lasts even through eating and in my opinion works for day or night. This is one of those lipsticks that makes you look good even if you're not wearing any other makeup. (Hooray,a quick fix for those "ugly" days.) This lipstick ensures insta-glamour! I promise.

This product may work for some people, but I'm not one of them. After reading about this amazing pimple eraser in a magazine, I thought it seemed like a solid purchase. However, when I applied it at night to a blemish the white potion was flaky and just fell off my face. I don't believe it lasted the whole night due to the flaking, and when I woke up the next morning, the pimple was no different.

Polishes -OPI - Russian Navy

The color is a beautiful navy (hence the name, I suppose) with some purple sheen in certain lights. At times it looks black against my super pale skin, which is my only gripe. I don't want to look like a vampire. I only had to use one coat for it to coat my nails completely and I'm satisfied with the sophisticated, mysterious look it gives my nails. I'm definitely buying more when this bottle is out!
