Lip Treatments -Burt's Bees - Honey Lip Balm

It's my favorite of all the burt's bees lipbalms, and I've tried several of their lipbalms. There are complaints on the smell, but that's why I love it so much. The honey scent is so comforting, however, unlike the other reviewers, I don't detect the scent after putting it on. My nose isn't all that sensitive though. This lipbalm, most importantly, leaves my lips soft and moisturized, and is great as a primer before putting on lipstick. I most definitely recommend it. Even my friends know how much I love it because I'm constanly about it! P.S. I personally would only buy this for the scent, since there are products out there that work the same but cost less. But its nice knowing that there are only good ingredients, especially since its going on the lips.

Toners -Alba Botanica - Hawaiian Hibiscus Facial Toner

I found this on sale for a couple dollars, plus I love alba products, so I figured why not. I was really hoping this would work for me, but no it didn't:( I noticed when I used this my facw would get slightly red and itchy, so I can't use it anymore. I think its the high number of natural ingredients, and my sensitive skin jsut can't handle it, plus I think it may have broke me out a bit. Ithink this may be fine for people whith high tolerance skin, but it just wasn't for me.

Shampoo -Trader Joe's - Balanced Moisturizing Nourish Spa Shampoo

Hair type: curly, mixed race hair, dry with mild frizz I have tried so many shampoos it ridiculous. I used to think that garniers sleek and shine was amazing, but it didn't get rid of the frizz. Anway, I read about this on afrobella, and tried it in november of 09, its now jan. 2010. That,for me, is amazing because I hardly EVER buy the same shampoo. This stuff smells amazing, gives my curls definiton, makes them soft and shiny, and costs 3 bucks. If you have dry hair, this is definately a product to look for. I took off a lippie cuz if doesn't get rid of frizz, and after some hours, if you don't use a shine product, you hair isn't as shiny. But this is a great shampoo to use.

Moisturizers -Trader Joe's - Enrich Moisturizing Face Lotion

I previously thought olay complete for combo/ oily skin because I have combo skin, with slight to moderate acne. I had used moisturizers before but never found the one. I was in dire need of a moisturizer, and my mom bought this one and the olay one. I had used enrich, and was amazed,like seriously. It moisturized, gave me soft skin, and had spf protection. Here's my only two flaws: a.) It doesn't have nearly enough spf protection. You're supposed to get at least an spf of 45, and b.) In the winter, I need to use a lot of the moisturizer to adequately, only in the winter, moisturize dry spots such as my chin, and above my lip area. Oh, and if you don't rub it in well, or else you're face will appear whitish. Those are only a couple of things this. This is definately my fave moisturizer, its cheap, and it moisturizers really well. Plus, its great for acne types, because its non comdogenic because it uses zinc oxide. Oh, something I might add, for those who prefer a matte face, this isn't for you. This can make your face look really dewy, a healthy dew, not greasy, just thought to mention. Anyway, I'd recommend this to anyone, it's a real gem in my opinion. P.S. I have sensitive skin, and this doesn't irritate mt skin at all.

Lip Gloss -Sally Hansen - Diamond Lip Treatment - ALL colours

I don't know why I haven't reviewed this yet, it really is great. I ve got u my diamond lip treatment(in the pic, its the one in the middle) a few. Years ago, jhust found, and started to love it again. Its a great light pink which is so pretty, and is full of shimmer, which isn't gritty at all, but goes on so evenly. The brush is my favorite-application is so easy, and I use it for other lipglosses to get a lot of product out of their tubes. I also layer it over colors to tone down their color, and to give it a polished look. It is sticky and heavy, if you use a lot(I've had it so long it doesn't bother me anymore) but if you use a little, it shouldn't be too bad. Overall, this is a great l/g that you should get if you like your lips to shimmer.

Just to start off, I'm biracial, so my hair can't just use anything. I have dry, curly hair that frizzes easily. I also live in a desert climate, so my hair can get dry pretty quickly. Ok, so I saw this at tj maxx,and had been wanting it for maybe 4 months. It finally got cold here, like freezing, and it made me think of fall, which eventually led to me wanting to finally buying this. The reason it was so memorable is because of the scent. Its such a fantastic scent, which can last quite a while. Its very pumpkin-y and spicy. I love it it. It cost a little over $6 at tj maxx. I'm so glad I bought it. It makes my curls shiny, and defined, and it makes my hair smell great, perfect for fall and winter. Now for the important stuff: Usually its $12. Mine said past season Would I buy this again for $12. Yes, the scent is that great Would I buy this again if didn't have the pumpkin scent: no, there are cheaper things that work the same, that don't have the scent. Something like garnier fructis sleek and shine leave in conditioner works the same. However, because I found this for only $6 and because it has that wonderful scent, I will repurchase. Ps I have thick hair, if you have fine hair, this might weigh it down. Also, you can their the sexy hair concepts pumpkin line at tj maxx, and marshalls.

Toners -Unlisted Brand - Bragg's Apple Cider Vinegar

This is for the Albertson brand. Ok, so I read that acv used with water can be a great toner for the skin. Well, I didn't use water. Oops, WRONG!!! I soaked a pad in acv, wiped it on my face, and my skin burned so badly!!!. I don't moind when my skin gets a bit irritated, as long as it works!!! This was so painful though. I was like ok, I can get through this. After what seemed like forever, my skin turned blue. You read that right. My cinnamon skin turned blue!!!!!! I couldn't believe it. After that experience, my skin was dry, flaky and gray. Needless to say, never use this without diluting this. Anyway, I used it again, only this time for my hair. I have dry african amer. Mixed hair. It has loose curls in some places, tighter in other places. To get rid of frizz, lack of shine, and to define the curls, I use stuff with a lot of oil. Though my hair is dry, I still like using an acv rinse. The recipe is this: I tbs apple cider vinegart 2 cups water. This works great. I put it in my hair, then rinse with cold water. I get soft, shiny, bouncy curls. Then, ill use a deep conditiopning treatment. Perhaps, that why my hair doesn't look dry.

Fisrt, let me tell you that I live in a very hot, dry, desert climate. To add to that, I'm a germaphobe, so I wash my hands countless times a day. All of that means that I have very dry, tight hands. Well, at least I did before using this. My mom picked some of this up for me because well, my hands looked like they belonged to a senior citizen rather to than a teenager. I put this on, and I thought it was just another lotion. My mom and I, we're both big fans of lotion, so we've used and have countless bottles of lotion. This one is special though. It has a light fragrance that's reminiscient of the johnson & johnson baby line. It fades away quickly though. The texture is smooth, not too thick, but not too light and runny. Its a happy medium. its such a wonderful product and I love the pump. You also get a lot, 14 ounces. Anyway, I know it works because before my hands were ashy, dry, and just not a pretty sight. Now, they're soft, moisturized and so pretty. They look young again!!! They look like the hands of someone who uses special hand creams(which I have). It moisturizes your body well too. The results are soft, moisturized. I mostly use it as a hand cream because I don't have time for putting lotion on my body. This is a great buy that I'd recommend to anyone who wants soft supple skin without a greasy finish.

Hair Styling Tools -Unlisted Brand - Andis Ceramic Clamp Flat Iron 2 inch

First off, let me tell you that previously, I was using a revlon 1 inch ceramic flat iron. I blow dry my hair before using a flat iron, because 1.) I've been doing that for year, and 2.) I used this on my curly hair, and while my hair was straight, it wasn't as good as when I was blow drying. Anyway, I have a mix of african american hair, so some curls are looser, some are really curly. After blow drying, my hair is big, magor volume. I use my tresemme heat tamer spray, and my haor is so nice when I'm done!!! It still takes me forever to finish, like 2 hours, but I think its becausee my hair is so huge after blow drying. Plus, when I flat iron, I watch t.v, I take breaks, etc. Its boring flat ironing so I have to keep myself entertained. It takes me 5 passes to get my sllek look, but that's ok. This is a great product. My hair is hot after, which is how I know it gets hot. My hair is so soft, bouncy, and just good looking when I use this. It was $19.00 at walmart. It has automatic 1 hour shut off, so if it starts to cool down, make sure its not because of the shut off. All in all, this is a great product that I love. **Edit** I was able to straighten my hair in like an hour and 10 minutes. Me, I was ble to!!!! I used a hot olive oil treatment, which I wasn't able to rinse out all the way, and I know this contributed to me being able to finish so quickly. But it deppends on how poofy your hair is. My hair literally felt like silk whn I was done because of the evoo. So, I love my andis even more now. It is amazing.

Styling Products -TRESemme - Instant Heat Tamer Spray

So, I was starting school again, and knew that I was going to start using my flat iron and blow dryer again. I bought this before, but it was a waste of money because somegow the top had come off and all the product came off, plus I wasn't even using my hair tools, therefore not using this. Anyway, I knew I had to protect my hair, and decided to use this. I'm really glad I picked this up. Before blow drying my african amer. Curls(btw I'm mixed, so some curls are loose, some not) I let my hair dry(I blow dry bcux flat ironing takes forever), then spray a lot of this on my thick hair. Although. I use a lot, I think this will last a long time. I spray this, then finger come through my hair, then blow dry. I'm left with soft hair. Plus, blow drying is soo quick!!! Maybe 20 mins!!!! That sounds like a long time, but before it took me forever, 45-60 mins. I also, use this before flat ironing. My results are great. My hair doesn't look shiny, but its so soft. I'd definately get this again, and probably will, whne I run out. This is a great product.

I have oily skin with moderate acne. I really like de products. This, however, did not work for me. I put it on blemishes, yet nothing would happen. Perhaps a reduction in redness, maybe. No shrinkage, no reduction in size nothing. I would not buy this again unfortunately. It just did not do anything for my blemishes. If you have sensitive skin, beware. This can burn skin.

Lip Treatments -Bath and Body Works - Vanilla Sugar Lip Balm SPF 15 - Stick Form

I live in a very, very hot climate with a dry heat, so dry lips are a big problem for me. Anyway, while at a bbw outlet, I saw these for 1.00. Practically a steal!!!! I had to get some. Plus, they had spf 15. These add good moisture, that can last a long time. It does not smell like the warm vanilla sugar line, but it does smell sweet. It doesn't deposit any color or shimmer. It does, however, leave your lips looking moisturized and healthy with the slightest of shines. Great but, especially if you get it for a dollar. Would definately get it again.

I used to use panoxyl, which is also a 10% bp product. My skin was finally getting clear and pretty, but then I ran out. Its a prescription that I found in my travel bag. Anyway, I read the reviews here, and finally got it. I'm glad I did, because it works pretty well. Its kinda unpredictable. It doesn't seem to work on those small bumps, but seems to work on some cystic blemishes. I'm not sure if my skin is getting used to bp, because at first it seemed to work well. Maybe its just small bumps it doesn't work on. Anyway, iwould definately get this again. I have oily skin, and only in my dry areas does this dry it out a bit. My moisturizer fixes this. If you have dry skin, use alight moisturizer after this. Wait though, until it sinks in, or it will ball up. It has a nice smell. Oh, and it hasn't bleached anything of mine. I sleep on satin sheets, pillowcases. I also wait a while before going to bed, but I have put this on, not even rub it in, let it sit on top of skin, then got into bed, and was fine. The problem is cotton absorbs things. Get satin pillowcases, and use those. You can get cheap ones at like ross. Mine are black, and have yet to stain. Plus satin is better for your hair because it doesn't take away your oils. I know my review is lengthy, but I just want you to know:)

Maybe its just me. I can't believe the negative reviews!!! I love this product. Cvs was having a sale on these with the lip shimmers(also love!!!), so my mom picked these up. I already have pink lips( darker pink), but these definately add red. I don't notice glitter in this, but it is shiny, biut not reflective. I always prefer an edged tip, which this has, so that's great. The staying power isn't that great, and i ve seen it really expensive, but if I saw these on sale, I'd definately pick this up and get new colors. It makes my lips a nice darker color. Not red, but definate color. Can't describe it, but totally pretty.

Love this product!!! I was starting school in like 3 weeks, and wanted clear skin, and I had really bad darkspots. I had tried this product a year ago, but couldn't remember how it worked, so did a bunch of research on products for darspots/evening out skin tones. This was 7.00 at tj maxx, so I had to pick it up. At first, I used it 2x a week, but then iused it 3x a week. This didn't erase my darkspots complety, but my first day of school, my skin was looking much more even, I was very confident. Every morning, afer using this the night before, my spots would look lighter. It really is a great product. I used a LOT for each application, and I still have someleft, so I think it'll last awhile. Whenever I use it, my skin seems to get warm. Its not a bad thing, just like a warm sensation. Anyway, I would totally but this again!!
