I like the consistency of this product. It offers a little bit more coverage than a tinted moisturizer. The smell is floral, some seem to find it overpowering but I like it. Goes on pretty smooth and is easy to blend. What I don't like is the grey cast it leaves on my face. The color (#23) seems a little too dark for my skin. I haven't tried #21 yet though. I would recommend being careful when you wear this because it rubbed off all over my shirt when I was trying on clothes once.
Lotions/ Creams -Eucerin - Daily Protection Moisturizing Body Lotion SPF 15

I generally like this product. It's lightweight, the packaging works (good pump). However, I cannot get over the smell. It's suppose to be fragrance free, but the smell of sunscreen is so strong with this that I hardly ever want to put it on. Sorry Eucerin, not a fan. This is good for small amounts on the face. Definitely not overpowering there, but for that I'd rather just use their SPF 30 version.
I bought the clear gloss. Based on previous E.L.F. experience, I expected to HATE this. To my surprise it's better than my previous clear gloss. Not too thick, not too thin. I have Rimmel's Vinyl Lip in clear and it's just a sticky mess (it seals in my color, but soooo sticky). This stuff is pleasant, no smell, no taste... not sure if my boyfriend will approve of it though. We shall see. Only cons are that the container is small and therefore the wand is small (pro and con at same time) and doesn't dispense enough product the first time. Whatever, I can deal with that. $1 well spent.
I too am surprised by how low the ratings on this product are. I tried the Sexy Curves original formula, but that one smudges too much on me. This product does pretty much the same without the racoon eyes. What I like most about this product is the wand really. Not too much product gets on it and the extra on the tip is easy to wipe off. This is important for me because I have lots of lashes and they are long. I've got NYX's doll eye mascara and it's sooooo thick and wet that ugh, just a nightmare when I put it on. This is always more evenly distributed and easier to build up without clumps.
Toners -Neutrogena - Rapid Clear 2-in-1 Fight & Fade Toner

I bought this on a whim along with their Body Clear body wash mostly to use on my legs since I have had a huge ingrown hair problem lately. The problem left me with a lot of discolored spots and a couple scars, and I was hoping the salicylic acid in this product would help. Can I just say, WOW? I honestly did not expect this to work, but after only using it for 3 days, it has already faded a scar near the bottom of my leg that I was sure I'd have forever. So far it's doing what it says (I have very mild hormonal acne during that time of the month) so I'm pretty happy. The alcohol in it does make the scent strong though. If you swipe it near your nose be prepared for that. If it continues to be effective I'll totally buy it again.
Lips -Revlon - ColorBurst Lip Butter in Peach Parfait
bentobento 1/21/2012 1:23:00 PM
This color is a pretty good dupe for my Estee Lauder "Tiramisu" lipstick. Both have the gold glitter and the color is pretty close. It's definitely not as peachy looking as in the ad with Emma Stone. It's more of a pink than a coral. This doesn't replace my lip balms by any means, but it is a nicer consistency than a lipstick. It is slippery, so it might wear off pretty fast for some. Pricewise, it's not too expensive (it was much less at Walmart than other places), but I don't see myself purchasing these too often. Packaging seems fine. I've been carrying it in my purse with a bunch of other things and the top hasn't popped off. Bottom line: if you're a fan of lipsticks, but want something that will go on smoother and "moisturize" this is a good product.
I have this polish in Desert Beauty (which I think they might have discontinued). HG nail polish! I've gotten so many compliments on this color, and I've been really disappointed that I haven't been able to find another for backup when I use up my current bottle. It does dry pretty fast and lasts a decent time with a topcoat.
Polishes -Wet 'n' Wild - Wild Shine in Red Red #414A
bentobento 1/14/2012 11:01:00 PM
Not sure if I lucked out but this polish is ridiculously amazing. The brush applied the right amount and evenly. It's opaque in one coat, and the color is bold. I usually don't like red polish but this is a hit.
Polishes -Wet 'n' Wild - FastDry - Teal of Fortune
bentobento 1/14/2012 10:57:00 PM
I love this color, but my main issue is the brush. Not sure if mine is just defective or what, but the bristles are all over the place, making it hard to evenly apply. I wouldn't say it dries any faster than other polishes either.
Eye Shadow -Wet 'n' Wild - Color Icon Eyeshadow Collection - Petal Pusher (736)
bentobento 1/14/2012 10:52:00 PM
Overall, I'm not a huge fan of purple shadows, but I decided to try this anyway since it was so cheap. I did not try these with a primer underneath but I will say this: dampen your brush and the colors are so much better. I specifically love colors 4 and 6 on the labeled picture, but only when applied "wet."
The teal eyelid color is worth the cost alone. I have never loved a blue palette before this one. Just be careful when opening it. There are 2 or 3 sticky seals which aren't the easiest to peel off.
Eye Shadow -Wet 'n' Wild - 8-pan Palette "Comfort Zone"

These are soft so expect fallout but holy cow, the color payoff is worth it at such a cheap price. That peachy eyelid color is fabulous on my fair skin. I haven't even used whole palette yet, but know it was definitely worth the money! Only problem I had was the packaging has a bunch of seals that have to be removed to open it - most of which weren't all that easy to pull off. I was a little terrified that I would end up cracking one of the shadows. Overall awesome product. EDIT: I wanted to add that I've since used all the colors and found that if you wet your brush a little (I was cleaning some shadow off mine with a baby wipe) the colors are really nice. My favorites are 1,2,3,5, and 8 on the first picture above.
This is one of the best hand creams I've tried. Doesn't make my hands feel oily/greasy afterward at all. It has a nice smell to it (I cannot figure out what it reminds me of though). I did get this during a sale, so it was only $5 instead of 10, but full price is a bit much for a small container. I also wish the cap was attached instead of the twist off because it's a little hard to screw back on once you've put the product on. I keep this next to my bed for when my hands get dry at night.
Blush -E.L.F. - All Over Color Stick in Golden Peach
bentobento 1/5/2012 5:54:00 PM
I have yet to try a product from ELF that actually wows me. I bought this stick because I thought the color was really pretty and would work well as a blush. Boy was I wrong. I'm not sure if my store just has expired products but this stick was dry and didn't go on smoothly. I tried heating it up with a hair dryer the 2nd time with little results. Color is way too sheer, it barely shows up on my cheeks. So then I tried it on my eyelids and had to cake it on to see any color. Like others said, it's hard to blend as well, which leaves me with blotches of shimmer. Only thing I liked was the compact size and twist up packaging. Thankfully it was only a dollar.
I decided to try this on a whim. I'm not much of a face mask person, but this one is nice. You put it on your face while skin is dry, and it foams up a little and fizzes out. I tried it on wet skin and it didn't do anything. The smell is nice. I like the fizzing effect, but I have no idea if it's doing anything for my skin other than leaving it soft for a while after. Packaging is a pump with a turn-to-lock feature. At about $13 I wouldn't really buy it again.
